This was so well done! Hit right in the feels, just like the Magni cinematic! When Xal'atath said this changes nothing and then disappeared, it reminded me of the cinematic Reckoning when Sylvanas yelled you are all nothing and then poofed out. I really like how they carry these types of big moments through the cinematics. Glad Anduin is able to connect with the Light again, happy Kadghar is alive and happy to have another badass Windrunner sister in this expansion!

I hope, just as with Sylvanas, that there will be more to all that. Sylvana's line felt just full of crazy hate at that point, since no one knew what she was after, but with Shadowlands it was clear what she meant, that live is but a flicker in comparison to the eternity of death, and all those wars for honor, freedom or whatever, they are utterly pointless, just "toy soldiers" in "tin plates" wagering wars over nothing. Xal is all cool and so on right now, but in the end 'she' needs an actual background to that, something like Sylvanas, a real goal beyond "me evil". Overall I hope that she will never be a raid boss or if then the same way as Sylvans was (= you actually never defeat her, she indeed won...), so you don't just defeat her or fight her and somethihng else kills her off.
It has been soooo long since I have been so immersed into a WoW story and had multiple emotional moments during it. Blizzard have really been cooking and the story team has really hit it out of the park with this expansion so far. THIS is the WoW I remember and fell in love with way back when I started in Burning Crusade and what I have been wanting to see again for so long.

while she was in the dagger in Legion there was a moment in the Tomb of Sargeras Raid where shadow priests could try absorb Power of Elune after 3 Nightelfes boss. Once you play the questline - there is a 'stay a while and listen' in the Foundation Hall in Dornogal for Khadgar and Alleria where he explains what happened and how he survived the fall of Dalaran :)
true, but typically in the lore rezzing isnt a common thing. if it was that easy, like how it is for us to rez anyone, then anytime anyone in the lore dies they'd just be brought back

She IS using the voids power and Xal is just better with it, she's not the void, though, else she should simply take it away from Alleria as she pleases. The void with "knowing all truths" likely also gives you an extrem version of 'future sight' - actually it's likely what drives the majority of void users insane. Many of those who fell to the void are like that. They went insane and then are only focussed on an extrem, either living hell, like the majority who only see and seek destruction everywhere or others like Garrosh, who saw his dream fulfilled of ruling the whole planet. It's what a mortal mind can comprehend and the main reason mortals got less of a problem with the tyranny of Light or Order with ONE truth, ONE order and less with Fel = no order at all or Void = all possibilities.

I never went into social media or anything to know what happens with Kaddy,to be fair,i accepted he is dead,but it was amazing. + Us as players ressing each other has been explained by Nobbel,we are children of the World Soul,so we have different laws how we come back to life.
I was so panicked when khadgar died, my main is a mage and i started playing for Khadgar (i watched him in the wow movie when i was 11... since then i KNEW he was my fav) so when Anduin rezed him I was crying tears of joy! T0T
When Xal talkes about the wrath of mortals and how it is insatiable, the Black Heart was shown - which is also said to be just that. I wonder if it stands for the mortal wrath and was actually something created to feed on that, to 'cleanse' it or alike, but never be able to completely do it. This then makes me woneder, if Xal is a product of this, either in total or being corrupted. A bit like Sylvans with her banshee self and that frozen in time fragment, just on a far bigger scale. Could Xal be a corrupted fragment of Azeroth for example, something that was ripped out of 'her' to manipulate or corrupt it? Or something that just came into existence by this - and overall just wants to return, while full of hate toward those who did this to 'her' and all that was creatad after this moment.
2 weeks late, I'm on a role! The "Xalatath having so much to say" makes me feel like Blizzard is still feeling the sting that was the Jailer. Mans literally didn't speak for 97% of the expac and then was followed up by a myriad of different people who weren't around for very long. The antagonists, at least. So I think with Xalatath, especially if she survives this expac (which I hope she does), they're doing their damnedest to make sure we know who she is and what she's about.
That was the whole point of Zovaal. He didn't care about mortals. He was simply a very realistic villain, not the typical "bond villain" trope, with long explanations. Zovaal is also too high in the power ranking, so revealing his reasons is the same as revealing Sargeras actual reasons and so on. This is something for the furture, when the cosmic war saga reaches its climax and so everything is revealed. Xal is not on that level - and simply got a much shorter way to that "everything revealed" moment.
You can also talk to Kadgar in Dornogal while he's sitting in a mystical wheelchair and he will tell you the story of how he ended up inside the Dark Heart. P.S. I want that wheelchair as a mount. lol

Personally, I never watch these until I reach them in game. I understand that they are content to creators but it’s so much better when you do all the things that lead up to them in game.

Honestly, despite the beauty of the cutscene, i find this cutscene akwardly convenient. Convenient that Alleria hits the Dark Heart considering that Xal'atath could fade into shadows, but didnt. I suspect khadgar didnt fully die yet here but he was on the brink and anduin brought him back before his soul could leave his body and all that.

Honestly, despite the beauty of the cutscene, i find this cutscene akwardly convenient.
Convenient that Alleria hits the Dark Heart considering that Xal'atath could fade into shadows, but didnt.
Convenient that Khadggar was alive
Convenient that Anduin managed to best the Light RIGHT AT THAT PRECISE TIME

im so sorry, i didnt even think of that. but at the same time, i'm assuming anyone coming to watch reactions has already seen them. but i guess i should think of if they're recommended on the home page too :o
but yea idk theres already been a ton of other youtube videos for months about khadgar maybe being dead or maybe being alive. so i figured everyone knew this was coming just didnt know how exactly. but my thumbnail still doesnt show what his fate was it can swing either way he could be dead or alive you'd only know once you watch, which hopefully you've already watched it first anyways :) thats my thoughts on it

@@JonathanMPianistsame! This expansion has been really great for just uncovering things on your own. Avoiding data mining has been so refreshing. This one has put a rain cloud over what I'd have liked to be a way for me to relieve stress.
