Some of yall coping hard. From someone that left wow last 3 expacs after getting bored almost instantly I can happily say I had a blast playing dragonflight and a blast playing tww beta. While the story wasnt there for me the gameplay and small steps into things we have asked for years definitely brought it back. It doesnt feel like a job and i can play it however i want to without missing on anything major.
The Arthas pose shows me that he is capable of the same horrors (as all humans have this flaw?), but he still keeps his morals straight, even after being broken down so badly. I love how they made that. Its my favorite part of the entire trailer.
Thralls look at Anduin, when he says "I have no light" Thrall sees Anduin as a son. I called it back in Shadowlands that Anduin and Thrall represented the best of the Alliance and Horde, their friendship, would lead the way to peace between the Horde and the Alliance. Now if Blizzard can figure out how to untangle the spaghetti code that is the old code they can probably pull it off lol.
I'm gonna continue to play FFXIV but I just started wow and I love it so far just bought me war within and a new Lenovo legion 5 off QVC should be hear next Tuesday I'm currently level 13 beastmaster hunter and playing on controller with consoleport
You should! Apparently the story is going to be good, with feels! Some FFXIV players played the beta and even though they just got some of the story, they were impressed and emotional.
When Anduin was in captivity in the Maw he was not tortured - they were initially trying to convince him to join forces. Shadowlands was such a mess that in the recap with Nozdormu they forgot that saying he was tortured. He was eventually dominated and the only thing the jailed made him do was stab some God and she didn't even die. He has done worse thing before. He's killed so many people in BFA too. Normal War Stuff. So this whole "I am so scarred from Shadowlands" narrative is not earned and its just trying to prey on the hyper sympathetic people for investment. A character mis handled by blizzard; so poorly written. I think this is what most people mean when they say he is a "bich"
why would you ever pay blizzard for anything these days, your better off shredding or setting your own money on fire. at least youll get some enjoyment out of that
It's really not the same Blizzard it was four years ago. The Activision executives were all booted after the Microsoft acquisition, as were Mike Ybarra and Steve Danuser. Chris Metzen came out of retirement to take over as creative director for the Warcraft franchise, and Holly Longdale was promoted from the executive producer of Classic to all of WoW. They invested heavily into expanding the Warcraft team, which fully unionized this summer, forming the now largest union in the games industry, at 600 members. The development philosophy behind the game fundamentally changed after Kotick stepped aside to facilitate the merger. They are now quick to respond to feedback, have pumped out a near continuous stream of content, and are focused on evergreen features. Under Metzen's direction they also mapped out the story for the next three expansions, and are working on all three simultaneously.
@@SuzakuX I know people wish Danuser was fired but it is not so. Ybarra laid down a hard requirement about ending working from home which would have forced Danuser to relocate to Orange County. He chose not to.
@@SuzakuX Yep, they took out the garbage and you could feel it in Dragonflight. The vibe felt so different and I haven't felt this optimistic about WoW in probably a decade. Here's hoping they pull off this new trilogy approach to storytelling. They've never attempted anything like that before.
Great cinematic, but Thrall being like "I'm not sure who it could possible be" when Magni has been blathering on about being the voice of the worldsoul and that Azeroth is a living individual not just in the collective Avatar(blue not elemental) sense really irritated me when I first saw this.
Thrall's always been among the best of bros in this world.
💯💯

I can recommend also watching the "Alleria: Light and Shadow" video (5:16 top row, left) and "Threads of Destiny" (5:16 top row, right).
Coming soon 👀

this cinematic was just the blizzard cinematic team flexing on all of us. especially knowing this was all hand tracked. its not mocap.

Azeroth awaits you, come home. :)

I feel let down by the last trailer.. they couldn't come up with anything new or exciting so they tried to leverage old trailers..
I don’t think anything could make me give blizzard my money
If only the game and it’s story were ever as good as the cinematics lol.
I feel this haha, but I do see they're trying to focus more on story now with their saga expacs coming up. But we will seee
@@SarahJaneTTV Yeah
