I related to your reaction deeply, because mine was very much the same. I was "aww"ing all the time and literally shed tears. Before this, Anduin was just another character to me, but in this scene he became so alive and real, the instant flinch when thrall touches his shoulder, the struggles within and the attempt to suppress them, such strong emotions, immediately pierced through the screen and hit me right in my heart.
Wouldn't surprise me if the planet itself is a prison made by the titan to harness the power of Azeroth, and the sword of Sargeras was meant to break Azeroth free rather than kill her
all planets were eggs for the titans. that's why you see the planet cracking like an egg. Sargeras was trying to corrupt the nascent titan, but when he failed he tried killing her because he knew she'd be powerful when she "hatched". I recommend The Lost Codex channel to learn about the Titan origination lore
As a 31 yr old grown man who has been playing since vanilla and has gone down a very similar (metaphorical) life path as Anduin, I can not watch this with out balling like a baby 😢
I hear ya. Been playing since Classic as well... but as a veteran who is still struggling to come home mentally, the sideways look Anduin had when Thrall placed his hand on his shoulder... I felt that in my soul. That look captured all-too-well the sickening feeling someone with PTSD goes through when feeling threatened by someone they know they shouldn't be threatened by. That war between training/conditioning that kept the survivor alive clashing with a good gesture that shouldn't be threatening... bravo to the WoW cinematic team. Anyway, this stuff is so freaking emotional for me its unreal. I have been impressed every since i got to witness my very first in game cinimatic in northren at the black gate.... BRILLIANT!
I really enjoyed this reaction video simply because it was not callous but rather a reaction that enjoyed the experience for what the experience was. Well done!
I just realized that when Anduin raised his sword at Thrall, it was the same move Arthus did when he used Frostmorne to raise Sindragosa in the WotLK trailer. The art put into this trailer to make it so life like is miles ahead of the others to date. Brilliant work.
Not a dry eye to be seen. I served in Iraq with a bloke that looked like Anduin. He had the same look in his eyes. He had terrible PTSD, and so did I but I didn't recognise it in myself, not until I got home. Just dress Anduin in desert combats and give him an SA80 A2, and you've got a British soldier reacting to war. War is never the way, but sometimes you don't have a choice.
Didn't delve myself much into the story so I didn't have the reaction you did here but seeing the emotion poor from the pain you knew this character to experience definitely hit me.
I've been an FFXIV andy for 8 years and this cinematic is making me crying over and over. The tale of Arthas and Anduin is so riveting and tragic even from what I've seen by proxy. Then "but THAT SWORD" was instant hype because no one in the MMO space hasn't heard of the giant sword stuck in Azeroth! This trailer has actually gotten me to consider WoW for the first time ever. VERY happy for all the WoW players who have waited so long for yesterday! Let's fn GOOOOO!!
Feel free to try but I hope you like M+ Speedruns and Raids as this is the majority of WoWs content. Do not expect a well told or presented Story as this game does not care about it. Expecially if you are a Newcomer.
for me there was so much to unpack in this trailer. its actually insane. not just the quote of saurfang, that personally shook me to the core. but more like the parallels to arthas. this once young man being the incarnation of the light, the hope, just breaks apart. "i have no light", standing in the pose arthas was in the wotlk trailer. imo this trailer showed us the very moment we were about to lose another hero of the light to the shadows. besides all the feels, seems like chris metzen impersonates thrall here and anduin the wow game. fits too good
Hi! first of all wonderful video I really liked it especially with the announcement of war within which I can't wait! And I also liked the emotion you had for this game, thanks to that I saw that this game is the best mmo for you and that you appreciate! In any case, I love this game with all my heart and like a second family in any case continue your videos, your adorable as anything - by farwayz (French guys)
The parallels between Anduin and Thrall as compared to Zappy Boi and Saurfang here when Saurfang was going to 'claim what is his' is intense! Saurfang and Anduin going through hell. "What they've seen! What they've done!?" The wisdom and compassion of another to help steady their emotions and bring them back to their senses.. And much more! Absolutely brilliant!
I think its on purpose that when anduin points the sword towards thrall he shakes - showing his traumas. However thrall leans towards the sword and it naturally stops shaking like thrall is a stabilizing factor for anduin. Just a small detail i believe is on purpose
this cinematics from blizzard, amazing. anduin's face, beard, tears in the eyes, facial expresions, skin..... all their cinematics are great but this one is something else.
Manduin was in pieces and his best friend Thrall (since Saurfang passed) picked up the pieces and put him back together through sheer compassion seeing so much himself. I love the PVP in this game but it's stuff like this that keeps me grounded in it.
I kept telling people, Blizz makes top notch cgi cutscenes, sure, but it’s always been the music that hits me. The moment the Wrynn theme hit, I broke down immediately. All the flashbacks, man, from Anduin’s struggle, all the way back to Varian’s last words before his death… their composers are the real MVP.
thank god this channel seems to be hopeful in our king lmaoo. Everywhere else everyone wants to act all stoic and pretend the feelings aren't the best part of the story.
This world is cold. Everyone in their darkest moment would wish for a Thrall yet can't imagine themselves in such a position. I can't wait to see our boy, now King, get through this. Only time will tell. ❤
I appreciate your reaction, a true WoW player. Unfortunately I watched someone else’s reaction video first and all I saw was nasty comments regarding Anduin and the game . I’ve played WoW since the very beginning and have such an emotional attachment to the storyline and the game itself it’s helped me through my traumas and I love the game so much . so I truly appreciate your reaction and video :)
Some people just lack understanding of other's plights, others are too easily influenced by the fickleness of others. Never let your passion and love for something be squandered by those too miserable to enjoy anything. ❤
I love how, when he lifted his sword, its the same as Arthus did in his cinematic. Just hope he gets a happy ending. But what i dont get: They act like they dont know who is calling or at "who" the sword was aimed. We all know it was aimed at Azeroth (Titan/ Titan Soul). And they knew why Sargeras wanted to destroy Azeroth. So why are they so clueless? Makes no sence to me. And it does look like Azeroth speaking to them. Maybe. But then again, Magni can hear Azeroths voice for a long time now. And he know since Battle fro Azeroth that she is sufferint and hurt. I just hope they will make an alternative plotline with Classic WoW to "fix" the story from Shadowlands and its heavly retcons.
I wanna say it's because they haven't heard her voice themselves perhaps? Or maybe the setup is a twist? I guess we'll have to see. But I get where you're coming from.
I’ll be honest this expansion is what I expected to see after legion or battle for Azeroth even pertaining the sword of sargaras. We had to take 2-3 expansions to get anduins character development ready lol
You can see anduin spaced out right before he touches his shoulder, he flinches, then the ringing in the ears start as his heart rate increases and his breath begins to increases all the rate to the lashing out in a fight or flight display, he saw anduins blade trembling and as a warrior knew anduin could not trust his own heart. 'A quiet heart steadies the blade' thats why he stepped into the point, if he could not trust his own then he would tell anduin that he trusts him. You saw the moment anduin snapped out of it too, for now he's steady but he is no where near okay. Love it, perfect representation of Trauma, PTSD episode, etc (My take on this anyway)
This cinematic was absolutely PHENOMENAL!!! 🤩Amazing job Blizzard! 👏👏👏 And don't feel bad, I keep crying every time I watch it. This cinematic was EVERYTHING!

Just dress Anduin in desert combats and give him an SA80 A2, and you've got a British soldier reacting to war. War is never the way, but sometimes you don't have a choice.
It's probably the most emotional reaction that I saw. Thank you.
I cried when Chris came out than again on this both of them mean a lot.
Great to see you back in any way.
I've cried at Blizzcon trailers before, but I didn't this one. Until I watched you crying at it that is... IT GOT ME EVENTUALLY. haha
This cinematic is absurdly good. Holy damn.
1:33 is a moment of transition from "oh god this is so detailed and nice" to "oh god Im fucking crying.."
The sound your baby makes at 0:58 sounds exactly liek the sound the baby Dragon Whelps make in Dragponflight. :D
Never played or know the story, but damn thats good acting😢.
for me there was so much to unpack in this trailer. its actually insane. not just the quote of saurfang, that personally shook me to the core. but more like the parallels to arthas. this once young man being the incarnation of the light, the hope, just breaks apart.
We've got a Saurfang throwback, the Arthas/Anduin parallels, the boys teamin' up again, and Sargy's big ass sword. It's about to go down.
I don't even play WoW, but I saw this through others. What a well done moment between two seasoned warriors, and friends
You got me all emotional with your emotion
Who is it Thrall? Who's calling out to us?
Thrall: It's-... it's _Jon_ from Spawnwave.
Lmfao this is dumb af 😂😂
Love that reaction!
this cinematics from blizzard, amazing. anduin's face, beard, tears in the eyes, facial expresions, skin..... all their cinematics are great but this one is something else.
the arthas sword stand
Anduin's Theme has to be my favorite alongside Arthas' Theme. That slow version in this trailer is living rentfree in my head
I just found you channel and have been serious serious WoW player and i feel your reaction to the new trailer. Insta follower!!!
It's good to be back with Dragonflight. Welcome! ❤
Manduin was in pieces and his best friend Thrall (since Saurfang passed) picked up the pieces and put him back together through sheer compassion seeing so much himself. I love the PVP in this game but it's stuff like this that keeps me grounded in it.
Damn it! I cry every damn time i see this movie. Anduin is really depressed and Thrall's expression upon him is so heartbreaking ...
Every Time i watch youre Video i cry with you. Thanks for the True Emotions
Nice reaction. Sargeras aimed the sword at Azeroth, the last Titan as we know from the reveal of 3rd expansion of Worldsoul saga.
thank god this channel seems to be hopeful in our king lmaoo.
This scene was so overwhelmed , every time I watched it i cry :(
Emocionado, me duele mucho ver así a Anduin 😢. Como siempre, WOW nos entrega la mejor cinemática.
best WOW War Within Cinematic reaction, as a new person thank you
I also noticed Thrall turning gray right away.
Love seeing how much you care im a sensitive soul too and tear up so unexpectedly over make believe things haha.
Empathy is a blessing but also a curse.
Now I know who Anduin is for. And I weep too.
glad im not the only one who gets teary with these trailers.. and im a man
I appreciate your reaction, a true WoW player.
Just ignore Asmongold clips lol
Some people just lack understanding of other's plights, others are too easily influenced by the fickleness of others. Never let your passion and love for something be squandered by those too miserable to enjoy anything. ❤
Well said :)
Man, Blizzard is nothing without Chris. He is so awesome.
You are back Miss click So EMOTIONAL 😢
Been a while since I've seen a video pop up hope all is well with everyone
Oh my god this woman is so magnificent
You touched my heart
Not gonna lie, I was'nt ready to cry either
mood
the arthas/Lichking pose with the sword
what sword?
the difference to reality people care about Anduin but in irl nobody cares that you are at the breakingpoint until its too late...

The World best Cinematic ever...thanks for the Video....👍👍👍👍👍
Magni describes the voice as something from a dream, and only he heard it, not everyone else
Anduin lookin like Oliver Queen from Arrow
I’ll be honest this expansion is what I expected to see after legion or battle for Azeroth even pertaining the sword of sargaras. We had to take 2-3 expansions to get anduins character development ready lol
0:57 Kiddo sounds excited!
She was chewing on the playpen wall just watching 👀😂
@@MissClickGaming Yup, gamer!
Love it, perfect representation of Trauma, PTSD episode, etc (My take on this anyway)
do you see how he held the sword as he stood up same as arthas did as the lich king u see that being dominated changed him
5 years today.. miss you dad.
This cinematic was absolutely PHENOMENAL!!! 🤩Amazing job Blizzard! 👏👏👏 And don't feel bad, I keep crying every time I watch it. This cinematic was EVERYTHING!
