Dude's boxing is so crisp. He's setting traps with feints and footwork the whole fight, and when he capitalizes on those traps, it's a thing of beauty.
what feints? do you retard s just say that about every boxer? della has very good timing and therefore good counter punching + he doesnt mind fighting in the pocket and has good reflexes
i dont know if ive ever seen someone fight so clean as he does
@@METAL1ON i mean randy brown and danny roberts are no slouches
@@METAL1ON there's always that guy saying this is the guy that's gonna crash The hype. No wait this guy is gonna do it. All the way to the top. Lol
@@METAL1ON haha trust me with his frame and his superior boxing this guy is gonna be champion
It's amazing that everyone he's been in against in the UFC has looked completely outmatched on the feet. That's how you know this dude is special.
JDM and Dustin Poirier is probably my biggest dream fight at the moment
He’s getting the right fights.
Jack is what Ian Garry thinks he is
@@joeljosephjacob6898 Amen to that 😂 kids been in the ufc a bit longer to I think.
Not to say he's not good but we've only seen him fight unranked/unknown guys once he gets in their with someone known for striking ill be a believer
Pure pleasure watching Jack , Adrien Yanez and Ilia Topuria with their crippling body shots and brutal combos .
"with crippling their crippling body shots "
What's that bud?
@@dr.loomis4221bro has nothing better do to than comment talking smack
Topuria and Jack are my favorite up and comers for exactly that reason. Vicious body punchers
They’re my fav 3 too🥹beautiful boxers in mma are the best, I used to compete in boxing so that’s why. Stay safe brothers
Yanez got blazed
His boxing is SOOOO beautiful, his combos are also highly intelligent
He’s a solid boxer w decent fight IQ. Lol His combos are just combos that go high and low. You can’t have a face that flat from punches and be considered crazy intelligent the way you’re stoking him. 😂 The man hasn’t breathed thru his nose this decade. He’s a decent boxer who goes low and high w combos, the end. Calm down buddy. Lol
@@jimmynovak7913 All it takes is one punch to crunch your nose... some people don't get them fixed because it will just get broken again... have you seen him take massive damage yet?
@@garyabblott5815 That’s more than one shot. That’s a broken, re-broken and re-broken again nose. Minimum. I’m sure of it. Why would I need to witness the damage happen or it didn’t happen? Lol Could’ve happened anywhere without a camera. I’ve fought and been around fighters long enough to spot someone who gets hit square in the face A LOT. And ppl do usually have it fixed so they can breathe out of their nose. Especially fighters who need to keep that jaw cliched tight and breathe out of their nose in their fights. You don’t need to be UFC level to know this and recognize this.
@@jimmynovak7913 He has spoken about it. It was a knee in his first fight. So even though you are sure of it, you are wrong lol.
He has also spoken about why he wont get it fixed for the time being.
Also a fighter.
@@jimmynovak7913 Remember Perry vs Luque? One knee remodelled Mike's nose entirely..
Totally smashed noses aren't always accumulated damage.
Rodriguez did actually look like he had good hands but jacks timing is just next level
He was also inexperienced af and was tryna match stance instead of fighting his regular.. they gave him kike Jackson in his next one went from one of the best prospects to fighting top 5 worse fighter on the roster ever ahhaha atleast he dismantled him hopefully dead game can do good believe he's supposed to be a lightweight aswell!
same as Loosa
I remembered Rodrigues being a can it was weird seeing him actually look decent here before getting demolished by Jack.
Yeah Rodriguez actually had a pretty good second outing got a KO in his last fight if I remember correctly
@@mr.drenched yea he kod that jiggaboo retard Mike Jackson
dude's a fucking sniper and seriously one of the most calm composed calculated fighters I've seen live. I get nervous when he fights for no reason he doesn't panic at all it's like he's not even in a fight. honestly he'll probably only get better from here on out
I'll tune into a card just to see him fight. I get so excited watching him more than any other fighter at the moment.
4:42 jack and one of his corner in sync
That's his head coach Ben.
his heavy hands mixed with the swift footwork is a beauty to watch
Bisping “you can’t breathe” has me dying
Why?
Man can't wait till he's fighting the top 15. Him vs Luque, Neal, or Thompson next please
I think neal or thompsons too far of a step up but luque would be a good challenge to see his skills
He doesn't beat any of em lol
@@KiddAngler.22 Luque is my boy but I can see him getting starched by JDM, look at the beating he took against Neal, his chin might not be the same.
@@thenedsmmachannel8970 also a big Luque fan, Jack can definitely win that. Luque does not move his head much and he’s taken so much damage over the years. Would be a great fight though
@@thenedsmmachannel8970 no disrespect I like luque too but I mean idk dude...I hate when they rush people up in competition. I just wanna see the dude do his career right so he don't go through the khamzat or omalley effect
He’s got Gaethje level of heavy hands but is so much more technical. What a talent
My thoughts exactly. Doesn't seem to take as much damage on the way in either, and also willing to mix in the takedowns. Could be a real problem in the division.
@@mikedangerdoes Not just could be. He 100% is.
Gaethjes power is overrated. Swinging haymakers with your eyes to the ground in hope of landing something is silly to compare with Jacks timing, boxing form and natural power. Gaycheese just has an overhand right followed by an obvious left hook and a telegraphed low kick
He has stunning power...but not KO power. Kinda like Conor McGregor.
Gaethje ain't heavy handed... Heavy hands are fighters who continuously knock people out with 1 punch. Gaethje a volume puncher smh
the future can definitely prove me wrong here, but i really feel like we’re all witnessing the start of something really special with della
agreed. I always come back to this video to pump myself up for my training.
Man… Jack Della vs Ian Garry would be such a skillful death match
I think he would catch Garry and put him away, honestly. I don't see Ian being able to handle the pressure if Jack pushes forward.
I was just thinking that after watching Ian's last win. It would be a banger. And I feel like Jack would win, not like he has been, it'll be a tough match but it'll be an amazing one.
Jack via left hook ko
Jack Della via Murder
both of them need to fight wrestlers
Probably my favorite striker in UFC right now. His boxing is a thing of beauty.
It’s him or Ilia Topuria for me. Both guys are straight killers.
It's basic af...but that stands out in MMA I guess
@@dr.loomis4221 yes bcz its not a boxing match, its MMA. It would be boring if it was just boxing bcz every other boxer can do that. Man, the condescending nature of most boxing fans is amusing XD
@@dr.loomis4221 no shit because it’s mma not a boxing match
@@dr.loomis4221
That’s what makes boxing so good.
I remember watching the Danny Roberts fight thinking Australian Bill Burr has homing missiles for hands.
I also imagined Ramazan Emeev thinking, "I tried to d'arce him, and he just pulled my hand off and looked at me like I was stupid."
JDM is a damn terminator, man.
Australian Bill Burr😂
Top tier comment lmao
Bro how did the first guy not get knocked out? What a unit
A brick wall. Built like one too.
He is actually quite good, super highly touted and comes from samford under Henry hooft. An absolutely murderers row of ufc title contenders. I remember seeing guys from his gym sing praises that he was ufc ready.
But it's a truly a shocking sport, as an Aussie we get less guys into the ufc, but when they pop up and make the leap they are generally scary mother fuckers.
More average to good fighters get into ufc from thr states and Brazil, it's a long journey when our guys pop up... they aren't our average fighters they are cream of the crop.
I felt bad for loosa when I had seen he was the one that drew jdm. Unlucky bud.
By sacrificing 3 years of non-dementia.
His boxing reminds me of Dustin Porier
He’s got better boxing than Dustin by far… his body work is what’s the most impressive about it… he also cuts angles, Dustin just stays straight up and tries to Perry shots away with his left hand… jdm uses foot work and head movement to always get outta danger
@@johnjohnsonstein8409 nah JDM has some work to do...he's gettin' there though
One of the most aggressive fighter's to date he never let's up on the pressure.
He deserves more recognition for that level of striking
Not until he shows he can do it to top level competition.
Not really. His striking was good...not exceptional. Let's see how he does against some journeymen, and a few contenders.
@@dr.loomis4221
Paddy Pimblett got recognition much easier. JDM is just better in every way, he deserves recognition already. It's just that he doesn't have a huge hypetrain.
A great boxer who has some ground game skills is so beautiful to watch, like an oiled machine creating art with his hands
He’s been training boxing during his rugby career, but he went straight into MMA after that, respects all aspects of the sport.
His fight with Holland was actually impressive, he clearly won all three rounds against an awkward long guy with dangerous power. I wanna see him vs Sean Brady next
He's a BEAST! Can't wait to see this dude fight again!
It's ridiculous how smooth and composed he is in there given how new he is.
Shot selection and fight IQ seem well and truly above his experience levels.
I remember thinking Randy Brown looked good and then the next thing I knew he got hit so hard he was doing gymnastics lmao
That first guy is tough as nails holy hell.
his head movement mixed with his shot selection is beautiful, he even lands a couple little shots they don’t even notice and it all adds up
His hands are _CRAAAZY_ clean. This is absolutely someone to keep an eye on.
00:45 That combination is clean asff
He's got that "oomph" on his hands. Those punches look and sound heavy
That Randy Brown face plant was funny as shit..... dude's a fighter, bright future 👍🏼👍🏼
😂😂 Came here to find this exact comment
JDM deserves everything I’ve met this man and his brother and they’re the most humble soft spoken men you’d ever met in your life.
Can’t wait to see this man with a title one day
I finally understand what the hype around this guy is about, watching beautiful boxing with calming music is such a treat
People often talk about mma fighters that could have been boxers like omally max or dustin, but if anyone that couldve been one it would be jdm
Thinking Topuria would make a great boxer too
Ian Garry vs jack della maddalena would be a cold striking exchange
Nasty hands, clean boxing. JDM is a problem!
Future champ
Jacks boxing is smoother than smoothies
He’s like bigger Petr yan I fuck with it😭😭
The sweet science is really starting to get properly integrated into mma, I fckin love it!
It looks to me like this guy knows how to relax, and just let his technique work for him. He's got some ballistic striking blended in there, and I can see he makes it work too.
Jack Della's boxing is so good, consider it art 👏🏼
In a pure striking contest, I would favor him against the best strikers in his division
Wonderboy and Edwards would be interesting
@@darkervoid1905 wonderboy and Edwards don’t have any power except their kicks in just Striking Jack might take it, might
Damn, dude hits with a thud.
Can we talk about how ange loosa ate all of JDM’s best shots😭😭😭what a chin on that man
amazing talent trained by the best, benny is a legend, i miss training under him
men the first guy who took all those powerful shots is a warrior too
I respect how he doesn't do anything more than what us needed to get the stoppage. You can tell he's just trying to do the minimum to get the ref to stop it after getting a big knockdown. He knows he's got the power, just takes the refs a couple seconds to figure it out.
Damn I never seen this dude. His hands are so technical. SHEESH
Man, the way he slips back from punches during his combos and then immediately reengages with more bombs...
3:47 Honestly, the roll into the counter left hook was beautiful. So well timed and even though the hook didn't land on the chin, it stunned his opponent and set jack up for the barrage of following attacks.
The guy never throws flurries, stays consistent with his striking. Looks like he's always doing technical sparring or that he's straight out from a UFC videogame
For strikers: throw with moderate power but fastidious form. Throw in combos against guys who stay there. Elbows are very effective against guys who wade in. Punches to hard committed kicks against guys who move out. Cut the cage against lateral movers.
Abuse the angle change and hop back against an attack. Once you hop back find your range for a jab or power shot
I think you just made me better at ufc 5
Hey man your videos are awesome! I’m glad I found this channel!! THANK YOU!
Very beautiful to watch, and I like that he mixes in the occasional takedown attempt just to keep his opponent honest.
I have watched this video 400 times. So good.
Great boxing skills with a lot of power. JDM is always exciting to watch! Can’t wait to see how far he can go
4 fights in the UFC, 4 finishes all in the very first round. He's done it all with just his boxing too it's crazy
That sub of Randy was an excellent technical submission as well.
Notice he doesn't chase the second hook...
Thank you so much for adding the wonderful piano music!!! Goes great with this!!!!
This guy will be champ. He's so dangerous
3:08 why did ref make bro eat those last 4 shots 😂😂😂
him vs luque would be such a banger
Great boxing skills and good power. However, i think some of his hook combinations go too long. He throws 3 or 4 at a time. While this may work most of the time, he will be left open for a power straight like Geoff Neal's left hand or Kamaru's jab . Also vulnerable to front kicks as well. But he is still young and getting better. Excited to see him climb the ranks. Australia gives us another Banger !!
I think that’s what makes him so calculated is being able to tell when he can throw those long combos and when he can’t.
I disagree. Most times I notice it's the 3rd or 4th punch that lands. Most guys only throw 1 or 2 and therefore expect the same coming back. Being able to throw multiple shot combinations appears to me to be a big edge in mma.
Boxers usually throw long combos like that. Muay Thai and kickboxing guys throw like groups of 2 or 3 shots
4:15 is one of the craziest sequences.. brown tried to turn himself into the smoke monster and escape through the cage
Ange Losa going to a decision with Jack on the contender series is ageing very well.
It's really impressive how calm he remains when he gets the knockdown or rocks a guy. Takes his time waiting for them to fold and then lands some precision ground and pound to get the finish.
Bro could make it as a pro boxer, he just seems to get his punches in with little effort, keep his distance and come in for power strikes
Jack Della vs Geoff Neal would be a fun one🤙🏼
Damn I didn't know his boxing was so crisp.. he is in phenomenal shape. Heavy heavy ass hands and SPEED KILLS.. WOW
4:15 randy brown with the super stanky leg
Crazy how his one fight in the Contender series was tougher than any in the UFC.
Bisping is a huge fan and is constantly assuring the MMA community that jacks gonna be a star
How can you not be a fan. Super exciting fighter. GC on Ariel’s show said it the best that Jack is so calm about knocking people out “Hey honey, I’m just going to knock someone out. I’ll be back before lunch”. 😂😂
His shot selection is amazing and just fires em with no telegraph at all, if he can keep his fights on the feet then Kudos to Australia it looks like you will definately have another UFC champion one day.
As a fellow Aussie I'm proud of the wicked talent, yet down-to-earth demeanour, shown by the fighters we have!
Check 'em out: Volkanovski, Whittaker, Tuivasa, Matthews, Crute, Mullarkey and of course Della-Maddalena... and more....
One of my favs rn
He looks like he digs so deep with every hook body or head. Dude has hands and footwork 👍🏻
It's so beautiful boxing. Gonna watch again.
Ok
how has this guy not been given a big fight opportunity yet his striking is amazing and he hasnt lost
He’ll fight a ranked opp next
14 win streak, 11 knockouts, 2 submissions, so yeah he’s been fighting at too low a level. Dude deserves the same hype and opportunities as Khamzat got
He got Gilbert Burns
Jack has the most satisfying style in the ufc
He makes it look so easy. Just beautiful to watch.
First time seeing this kid and damn he has some amazing boxing
Might be my new favourite fighter to watch. Dude is a machine
This man's hook is tighter than my dad's wallet when mom mentions "child support"
How is the crowd in Australia. I was there. Absolutely the best sporting event I’ve been to
I like the happy music in the background lol, sounds like a commercial for scented candles but I'm watching people violently trying to knock each other out.
That in sync point at the end was dope
Lmao the combination this dude decimating people and hearing some chill beats music is awesome
How did the first guy not get KOed? Massive chin
At 2:20 he says "sorry, had to do it" in regards to hitting that dude who was clearly done. Solid guy
Changing the speed and power of your jab is essential for striking. It keeps your opponent from getting comfortable and finding a rhythm, while forcing them to constantly react.
He goes to the body too. 👏
Yesss! 🇦🇺 another beast on the roster! up it jdm! 🟢🟡
That KO of Rodriguez was setup so perfect
Genuinely some of the cleanest boxing I may have ever seen in MMA. Even more so than even Yan and Poirier though tbf those two are fighting higher level guys than he has (so far). Will be eager to see him progress
I could watch this dude all day
His ability to be JUST out of range by barely even moving must be the closest human equivalent to ultra instinct
JDM is a beast. He got by the reach advantage of Randy Brown so quick, when he sunk in the choke I was stunned at the size difference too.
Love watching this man fight, Aus has some great prospects.
What a killer instinct, what a finisher
Just watched this back again. The fight IQ in under rated. He never empties the tank when he has a guy rocked. He takes a moment to reset, reload and then hit them again before they have a chance to properly recover.
Jack strikes like you do groceries : so casually.... Just lethal.
A treat to watch
This dude is the next best thing! Holy, his combos are crispy. The closest thing I can compare him to is cowboy. Cowboy had a lot of good combos but this dude is like a cowboy 4.0
