So many of these things listed in the list are redundant, the only main problems are ragequitters, instant spark (remove it on any character with an unblockable ult and ki sickness), skill count regen rates, and afterimage strike.

No, the reason why this game is losing players is because there’s nothing to do outside of online. Custom battles is straight buns and the story mode. Oh man do not even get me started on the story mode, but besides that they really just lacked on the offline content that’s why people are leaving.

I feel we should have the short dash chains if we AREN'T gonna get the free dash back, they can reduce the ki consumption to make it usable. I don't see how you could exploit that, I guess flanking would be either, but you can still block, side step or dash yourself.
That's only the case for the manga though. There's Dragon Ball Z in Japan too, in reference to the anime and multiple games based on it. It's the same with Naruto Shippuden.
The biggest takeaways for me that i want to see is three things 1. Bringing back jump/ascend ki blasts and smashes in air and within combos. These really did aid in combo variety in bt2 and bt3. Plus, some characters in sparking zero have unique jump charge ki blasts that you basically never get to see since you can only do them on the ground which is just a complete waste of an ability especially on characters who already dont have a lot going for them like krillin 2. Perception needs to be reworked. The fact that you can spam it and it doesnt take ki or anything is stupid, and the fact that on standard controls you can cancel grabs while holding it is a clear advantage standard controls have which shouldnt exist. Perception itself is also just an unfun mechanic, and while thats subjective, i find it to completely ruin the flow of a fight when the person is sitting there holding block and perception and is antithetical to the dragon ball fighting aesthetic. Perception all together should require more resources to use and more punishment for abusing. 3. Super counters are debatable wether they should or shouldnt be reworked. I personally think they should be but i understand why people dont want them to be either. Regardless of what they do, an online training mode would be really helpful for super counters in general wether they change them or not since theres no real way to practice them in single player since the timing is completely different, and having online training will allow people to more accurately practice and all together have a better grasp of the mechanic 4. If you rage quit or disconnect, you should lose your points and the other person should earn the points they deserve. People saying WhAt AbOuT bAd CoNnEcTiOn i suspect are rage quitters coping and need to stfu. At the end of the day someone has to get the short end of the stick when it comes to this issue, and its far in a way more fair to the person who wins a match to get their points than it is unfair for a person who disconnects to lose their points. As the game currently stands, if youre a player who doesnt disconnect the current environment of the game essentially punishes you since youre not even guaranteed your points when you win but you are guaranteed to lose them if you lose which is incredibly toxic, whereas a rage quitter only ever gets to keep their points since they avoid losing them and theres no real penalty or drawback to rage quitting. If you have bad internet, frankly, too bad. Like i said, thats far in a way more deserved to lose your points for that than it is to not gain points for winning. Lastly, a lot of people think actual abilities need to be changed or nerfed and to me thats cope. Unless an ability is literally broken (like androids not consuming ki for ascending descending, pan spirit leading to vanishes that do 8k each, etc) then you should just learn to work around it. Even if some abilities are annoying, its disingenuous to lump in actual criticism of the games questionable mechanics with complaints about certain characters abilities since those changes dont really address the fundamental problems within the game and are more so requests for the game to work around what you will tolerate

Nah, afterimage strike needs to be nerfed. Have it cost more skill points and lower the time limit. Also, people who rely on insta spark to win have the skill issue. They have no hands and need to abuse a cheap mechanic to win. Win or lose, I will continue to not rematch players who rely on a crutch.
Turles really should have another rush string. His first, third and fourth are all heavy finishes so theres quite literally no variety in his combo game. I think he may very well be the only character in the game to have three of the same rush string as well, and coupled with the fact that his super do very little damage he has very little options
“Burter is a great character” I’m sorry, but this is a horrible take. Any part of his rush combo can be easily super countered. Even his low sweep is bad because it’s multi-hit.

Super counters are fine I don’t know why everyone complains about them. Sometimes it’s the best way to get out of cheese and I’m maybe it’s easy on PC but when you’re playing against high level characters with low dp characters it becomes harder to super counter when the combo is coming so fast. Could also be my controller since half the time my character is standing still before I can finally get the transformation or swap tab up. The same way instant sparking is in the game, super counters are in the game deal with it.
The reason why we are complaining about super counters is because it basically makes the game have no combos at all literally if you try to combo your opponent boom super countered into a vanishing battle like that’s why we hate super counters
this isnt a competitive game so it shouldn’t be balanced from the most competitive people me spamming the super counter is the only way i get out of these crazy ass combos😂

it's called dragon ball because in Japan there is no DragonBall Z. In japan they only had Dragon Ball as a direct continuation from the OG

People need to understand this series main draw hasnt balanced or online game play. It’s a true to the series battle game for playing with friends.

Turn off auto guard if you have it on. It’s easier to mash against faster strings. Slower strings can make the timing awkward

Instead of mashing, trying going for a rythme. That's what I do when mashing doesn't work.
