Bro your dedication is next level . Unbelievable that you can have so many games and so many leave . I hope Bandai change the system so leavers get the L .
I REALLY enjoy these types of videos. Watching you and learning what you're doing is one thing, but to hear your throught process, having the knowledge that leads you to do certain things explained, it's so much more valuable for someone trying to improve. I never would've realised that the type of perception attack your character has could affect how well they do against Afterimage Strike, which is my biggest hurdle in climbing ranked. Unfortunately I play Single as Super Broly so I can't exactly use that info but I am glad I know it now regardless. That's not to say I dislike the straight-up gameplay, just that these sorts of videos are a lovely treat.
@@alwuhugaming Quick question, when you're countering wild sense and you say to vanish it, which form of vanish? I know you can vanish during your combos by holding block and moving to vanish around your opponent, but there's also just tapping the block button just before you get hit, and there's also vanish strike, when you hit X and A (xbox, standard) at the same time. Just wondering which one you're referring to.
@@JakeIGuessyes do the vanish that you can do to follow up in a combo string. Vanishing the wild sense attack itself is very difficult cuz it’s a very tight frame window. It’s more of a dodge using your vanish than actually vanishing the wild sense. Maybe I should’ve clarified that more. Great question from you
Got it! Also, currently watching the video in bed, the match at around 30 minutes that you theorise your opponent is magicking, it’s worth considering that he picked hyperbolic time chamber in the previous match when he ragequit so it’s probably his PC is just running like ass. There’s two types of lag that plague these anime fighters; connection lag and framerate lag. When your opponent has a bad connection, your inputs are delayed and the match will pause intermittently for like a second or two. But when your opponent has a bad framerate it means they literally cannot run the game at the 60fps minimum and since there’s no frame skipping for them to keep them in pace with your game, it means your game will slow down so their game can keep up. I _think_ the game shows you in the bottom right which type of lag is being experienced. The WiFi symbol is the connection, whereas the bars are the performance. I could be wrong about that, but any time my opponent’s game is running like ass, the bars in the right always turn red.
I don’t mind it. I do think some things need to be balanced. I’m not sure what they’re going to balance tho. I hope they go about it the right way… I think only changing things 1 at a time is the way to go
I actually made it to Z rank on singles last week, did it without ever rage quitting, about a 72% win rate. Started doing DP battles now. I never realized just how much I still have to learn till I came across this video. Incredible gameplay. I'd love to run into you to really see what gaps I have ahah
@alwuhugaming I'm totally down, I picked it up on both PC and PS5 because I've been wanting to play it with everyone ahah, but I'd love to run some friendly matches
7:27 when you get guard broken you can spam buttons to get your ki back. For those who don’t know, you need at least 1 bar of ki to block a rush super. If not, the following occurs. Most of the time they just sit there
Damn I was locked in to this video, buddy you're getting a subscribe. 60%win rate and you made me feel better about the cheese. Like I knew there were ways around it for sure but ouu this nice
Yessir!! Releasing another analysis video in about an hour where I address exactly that. I understand why many quit the game cuz of cheese but there’s ways around it!
Nah see i can't understand why you would pick up sparking zero and you're just gonna quit after a month. 1. Not a true DragonBall fan. 2. They're just not fighting game fan in general.
For a media that one of the key biggest thing of the Turtle school is to go through life with a hunger to learn and improve. That means yes. You will *lose*. It is okay to lose. It is through loss one learns because you can see flaws that can be improved. Without defeat, you will end up as Vegeta was; so confident and so far in his own head that he cannot conceptualize there can be improvement.
I use vanishing assault to escape from Brawler Grabs, so like Reccoome, Broly’s, Spopovich, etc. especially if I’m guarding/perceptioning, it’s usually pretty tough to side dodge from guard, despite the grabs being slower but they’re easy to see because of the dark flash around the screen, so it’s an easy ‘vanish’ for me, and oftentimes it’s saved me from a grab into ult ‘combo’. I agree that it’s a poor ability for aggressive attacks, but decent utility for defence. I might start vanish assaulting charged heavies to save skill points.
That’s a good use of vanishing assault! I’m just being harsh on these guys cuz I’m salty about the rage quitting lol. But yeah mashing vanishing assault is bad and people should be using it the way you described. Easy way to vanish out of certain situations
24:00 some characters have a long idle animation after using explosive wave like god of destruction toppo that leaves them hanging for a raw super or combo. Dont know why this is but it needs to get fixed
This is really great! I’m not finished with the video yet, but I’m wondering if you’ve found a way to deal with instant sparking, and in particular those who use strong characters to lock people into eating an ult with ki spam. Y’know like a Z Broly or Max Power Jiren. I’m not sure about Jiren, but I know for a fact that Broly doesn’t get hitstunned out of instant spark with normal ki blasts, and if he gets it off, it’s practically impossible for me to do anything about it.
If I have someone with explosive wave, I’ll use explosive wave when they get close to me and I’ll dash away/up/down. I know some people use revenge counter as well in that situation but I’m unsure of the ins and outs of it. I’ve seen other creators do the revenge counter method though
Bro I wish they would implement a few basic things, 1st if someone rage quits or loses connection then other player should get points as if it was a win, or even half or 3/4 the points a win would get. Second have a concede match feature so ppl can just end the match if they are getting destroyed and don’t have to play it out further. 3rd if you rage quite X amount of times in a X time period then you can’t que up for ranked for a time period just like rainbow 6 siege and other games, these 3 changes would make a ton of difference
Perfect! I am on PC as well 😁 But I love this video because you perfectly represent how a vast majority of the current SZ player base just don't know how to play the game 🥴
You’re my fav sparking zero content creator. Would you mind doing a video on how you combo w the resets? It’s so smooth and you do it without knocking them down
Ive been saying explosive wave and its equivalents like Android Barrier and Tapions Flute are underrated. They are basically super counter but can be used anytime as long as you have the skill points. One thing I learn about explosive wave if timed correct you can stop rush supers once they make contact with the wave they will get hit and knock back. However it is better to dodge or vanish.
Don’t wait too long like I did 😂 another tip is that if you boost it and just hold it right away you can probably win 100% of the time cuz nobody expects it
66% win rate out of 346 matches, I used to ragequit to get out of B5-4 but when skill actually really mattered I stopped and tried to figure out why I was losing. I feel bad about it, but at-least my match completion rate is still "high". *edit A1 now, beat a Z rank in a casual room. Biggest tip: If you see someone disappear 9/10 odds stop pressing buttons until you see them reappear then immediately use ki blasts or block.
Yup people who just tunnel vision on super counters can get punished bad for it. Probably gonna make a separate video for it cuz I played against someone who does the same concept of combos as I do lol. I HAD to vanish him
@@alwuhugaming Staggering it is OP, it just also is so easy to wana rush your inputs and not delay, i guess panic mode. You are a really good player you understand the mindset of your opponent a lot it seems.
You made me actually think this game is not a CHEESE FEST, and broke down how to actually be good. You kind of motivated me to go practice so I can learn some combo's cuz I was just spamming kefla in single battles like a loser.
Your tips helping me out , idk if u do this or not, but press on all your buttons while you have minus ki to regain it a lot faster. Im stuck on A3-A2 ranks because most people i encounter stay when they win and leave when they lose , so i only lose exp and not gain any
This is what I was looking for. I was wondering if skill can actually be used in this game. So many videos of people, including dbz UA-camrs I like, playing the game almost the same way. A lot of charging, supers, mindless counter, and sense I don't have the game I'm sitting there going "this kinda looks dumb." Charge into raw ult/super and it works 50% of the time then do it again till you win. Then finally this video proves it all wrong.
@@lupylave415 yeah there’s this weird idea going around that this game takes no skill and doesn’t have any concepts from traditional fighting games. The reason why I was able to rank up so easily is because I’ve played traditional fighters and applied the same mental concepts
Yes someone explained that to me. I was just confused why one match it was perfectly fine and then the next match was terrible. But that can be cus the stage requires more FPS
This video makes sparking zero seem a lot more fun to me tbh. I usually play fighting games, so to see that sparking zero has a lot of depth and counterplay in it is really cool
9:00 this right here! The night before last i was working on super counters, got relatively good at them but probably got into 3x more vanish wars Per fight.

If you want a team to run for a video I’ve got two I play a lot:
Saibamen, Saibamen, Raditz, Nappa, Vegeta.
Freeza Soldier, Freeza Soldier, Dodoria, Zarbon, Freeza.
Love the introspective inbetween fights and tips. Btw have you tried playing with End of Z Goku and Vegeta they are very underrated. Especially End of Z vegeta.
I got you with more of these! It’s good cuz I barely even speak during my gameplays anyway HAHA
“Magicking” -> lagswitching lol can’t edit comments on mobile sorry
I learned a lot from this video alone the knowledge is crazy 🔥🔥 new subscriber btw
damn the subscribers gain, congrats bro you deserve it
I love the commentary, keep on it 🙏btw, what do you think about the fact we getting a balance patch on December?
I don’t mind it. I do think some things need to be balanced. I’m not sure what they’re going to balance tho. I hope they go about it the right way… I think only changing things 1 at a time is the way to go
A real Z rank!? You don’t find these very often! I appreciate the video frfr bro! W energy
Thank you!
Yesterday a SSj4 gogeta rage quit against me using Tapion…
Had to switch to single battles, people just leaving and making cheese teams
I actually made it to Z rank on singles last week, did it without ever rage quitting, about a 72% win rate. Started doing DP battles now.
I never realized just how much I still have to learn till I came across this video. Incredible gameplay. I'd love to run into you to really see what gaps I have ahah
If you’re on PC we can run some friendly matches one day. Or maybe we’ll bump eachother in ranked ;)
@alwuhugaming I'm totally down, I picked it up on both PC and PS5 because I've been wanting to play it with everyone ahah, but I'd love to run some friendly matches
Glad I found your channel. You're very skilled and chill player and also explains how you play. Was watching Afrosenju but can't stand that guy lol
Is this bro who pops his eyes out and wears the frog mask? Absolute legend
7:27 when you get guard broken you can spam buttons to get your ki back. For those who don’t know, you need at least 1 bar of ki to block a rush super. If not, the following occurs. Most of the time they just sit there
These rage quitters learned nothing from Dragon ball.
idk man man, frieza rage quits 3 times and it worked one of those 3 times. 1/3 aint bad
@ryanjohnston9364 he's the bad guy
NO WAY YOU ARE THE FROG GUY HOLY SHIT YOU ARE GOOD
THATS WHAT SAYIN BRUHHHH 😆
ok i know u for the frog memes but knowing u play sparking zero i didnt know u were chill like that what a goat
u deserve more subs for ur analysis/skil alone
Channel is less than a month old. I’m getting there!!! Growing pretty quick :)
Yessir!
I see. That makes sense to why I’ve never been punished for using it but others have
Suscribed.
Loved the way you explained the game, and your thought processes
Bro was trying his hardest to escape you with those rage quits😂
I learned how to counter after image, and how to expand my combos without throwing them good shit
Random ass video in my recommended and it turns out to be that frog hat guy on tiktok. Thanks UA-cam
You're the type of opponent I would love to fight online!
If you’re on PC, maybe we’ll cross paths in ranked and have a good fight 😎
Perfect! I am on PC as well 😁 But I love this video because you perfectly represent how a vast majority of the current SZ player base just don't know how to play the game 🥴
You’re my fav sparking zero content creator. Would you mind doing a video on how you combo w the resets? It’s so smooth and you do it without knocking them down
Yes I will be doing a combo breakdown video. It’s actually quite simple
@ heck yeah! Thanks😁
This video was actually very funny and informative
I just subscribed
Ive been saying explosive wave and its equivalents like Android Barrier and Tapions Flute are underrated. They are basically super counter but can be used anytime as long as you have the skill points. One thing I learn about explosive wave if timed correct you can stop rush supers once they make contact with the wave they will get hit and knock back. However it is better to dodge or vanish.
Yeah I agree with better to just dodge and vanish but having that extra emergency tool being a barrier is sooo strong
Love these videos, so in depth.
You have my respect for reaching that level with Adult Gohan
Adult Gohan super underrated!
Really good video.
Let's hope they do something about people that rage quit into high ranks soon
I can’t wait for the December patch man. Thee rage quitters are ridiculously, they just need to take the L
I imagine a sizeable chunk of Z S and even A ranks will be forced back down where they belong in low B.
What will happen in the December patch?
We dont know yet but hopefully some good shit
By december i doubt many people are even gonna still be playing lol
@@kexon2 DLC coming in January and the game is still very active
Nice, you keep improving, maybe you'll become in a really masterful player that would be like a final boss, even with 3HP / low tier characters
10:37 Greeeeat fucking tip for Grab Clashes. 😂😂 Never even thought of that
Don’t wait too long like I did 😂 another tip is that if you boost it and just hold it right away you can probably win 100% of the time cuz nobody expects it
Recognized u from ur old face memes😂 glad ur making sparking content. Been binging it recently
I like the talk about not just using Supercounter and also using the others, like vanishing. People are way too hung up on SCs
The best sparking zero content
You made me actually think this game is not a CHEESE FEST, and broke down how to actually be good. You kind of motivated me to go practice so I can learn some combo's cuz I was just spamming kefla in single battles like a loser.
Best penalty would be for quitting or connection lost would be double the lost amount
great video! please keep uploading
The fact that you got queued up with the same guy 3 times in a row is a very bad sign that no one is playing the game anymore bruh.
This vid is very educational. W UA-cam algorithm
I quit playing on my top 30 account cuz it's just the same 20 people everyday ragequitting.. Now I'm having a blast playing whoever in A rank!
Nah you cant even climb cause you beat these clowns so hard they rage quit every game you play haha thats crazy
Yeah but to be fair everyone else probably dealing with it too haha
I think the laggy match was due to his slow pc, I think the right icon is for pc speed and the left is for wifi
Yes someone explained that to me. I was just confused why one match it was perfectly fine and then the next match was terrible. But that can be cus the stage requires more FPS
Bro I did not know you were the Jack in a box meme 😂 I love your gameplay channel
This video makes sparking zero seem a lot more fun to me tbh. I usually play fighting games, so to see that sparking zero has a lot of depth and counterplay in it is really cool
This was very helpful subscribed thanks man
this was so good, thank you
9:00 this right here! The night before last i was working on super counters, got relatively good at them but probably got into 3x more vanish wars Per fight.
even after spending time watching other high level people play and doing my own training. This video was like a beacon of light.
