Yo Lotus thanks for looking at the document and spreading the word for us and I'm very happy that you liked from what you read from all of us Tenkaichi 2 & 3 players. When AreCreeps first strated the document and invited us all our main goal was to make Dragon Ball Sparking Zero the best game it can be for player expression/creativity, and overall have a long term longetivity for every type of player for the game. As of right now the game is mechanically flawed and very cheesey at the moment so with these changes we hope we can make the devs look in the right direction. Now I don't think everything we all thought of will be in the December patch BUT if they focus on the main things people have been complaing about Skill Count, Sparking Ki Blast Spam, Super Counter, Z_Counter, being able to skip intros etc we will be in the step of the right direction. 8:03 I been seeing a lot of people say making Super Counter a resource I even said it myself at one point but something the others brought up to me is you are already losing much KI by doing simple things in the game and this game ki management is important as hell but I can also see you and Dom reasoning for it I would be down with it myself if implented the right way. I think they should add a super guard breaker which basically stop opponent from doing anything. They can't use skill counter can't switch can't do anything for like 10s or 15s the way players do this is like this. Remember that story mode exclusive clash we could trigger by pressing r3 in story mode of bt3 that boom clash. It should happen after both player vanish eachother until they have no ki i noticed that super counter lead into this if both players are skilled in vanishing. So when you think about it super counter doesn't give much reward against players who are better at vanishing it does help with getting out of being combos.
This talk of making useful and constructive criticism toward the game and its developers is great, but please do NOT let that turn into toxic negativity. If you guys see someone online that is actively making the community more toxic, call them out!
they need to add a camera segment and allow you to have full 360 degress access of your camera and allow you to lock back onto your enemy instantly once you find them after theyve instant transmissioned
nah i disagree, i feel like instant transmission should have a mandatory lock off time amount because it costs 2 skill points to do. It doesnt give you an instant advantage and if you decide to swing after using it, you instantly put the lock on back on for your opponent. If anything, them wanting to SLOW DOWN skill point generation time would remedy that potential problem more.
I love how trunks has an option to escape a vanish war and kinda continue pressure/Reset to neutral. Idk how good of an idea it would be but what if you could charge the vanish attack so that the opponent has to actually guess when to vanish. Maybe something like that would make the vanish gameplay not boring as hell
“Yep” to all these changes. I feel so vindicated to see that the old pros of bt3 can agree with me and show these super toxic fans that this game has a lot of issues with not only basic fighting game system mechanics but with more gamemodes like survival that would make it more fun to play all-around. Honestly, I’ve never touched a tenkaichi budokai game in my life but I do know alot of other fighting games like street fighter or the naruto storm games don’t have these kinda problems with risk reward as this game does. Just feeling happy that the pros can agree that this game NEEEDS some work and its not just as simple as “get good”
funny thing is there’s really like 2 things that would fix a lot of complaints: 1) slower skill count gauge rate and 2) ki sickness on the skills it makes sense for. which is funny cause those seem to be the main issues people have cause that’s almost all i see people complain about. not even glazing i just think a lot of people in this day and age are prone to being overly aggressive in their hating or critiques
I'm only half way through but all these points just make me feel like BT3 really was the GOAT game. Like not as a meme, or a joke, or as just hype. But like for real, in terms of DB games, it wore its crown and it earned it. Sure not everyone felt the same way but I feel it has enough people who'd agree. At least gameplay wise - not really speaking about the other aspects (story, etc)
The BIGGEST thing I never hear talked about is how the health bar HUD disappears when a super lands. It really makes it disorienting and confuses me on if I even landed the hit or not
@ The HUD disappears when I land the hit. It's literally not a skill issue when I'm the one dealing damage. It'd still be a problem even if I won every game I played
Some of the issues this game has make me think the people who developed it don't understand fighting games, the Sparking/BT games, or even good game design in general. MOST of these issues are so blatantly obvious (and were already solved issues in BT2/3) that it makes me wonder if the developers even played their own game(s) during development. I REALLY hope they can properly implement all these improvements. I'm doubtful.
I'm far from an expert in fighting games but I told my partner "this game needed least 3 more months to cook but someone rushed it for the holidays or such." I hope a patch or two gets this game to where it could be. It's so so close. A lot of this nonsense is tweaks not big crazy changes

9:27 I dont know how many people remember this in Ultimate Tenkaichi, but when you did rps and you where put into a triangle/Y chain, if you successfully recovered from it, you were put into a vanish war, the only difference is that instead of timing it with the attack, you would time it with the indicator on screen, and after each dodge, it would get faster and faster, that would work really well here, and also shows it's something Spike has done before, granted they were Spike back then and not Spike Chunsoft
I certainly feel heard since a lot of what i've been saying is in this. I still have fun with the game as it is, but good lord it's missing so many mechanics and quality of life changes that really hamper down the full experience, I hope they get to the red ones especially. Also I was really happy they mentioned no rolling hammer for Turles, I love playing him. I want this game to be better and I feel it can be with modest changes like these.
There were probably mechanics they did have that either didn't work consistently and were ultimately removed or couldn't get them to function properly at all. That and some oversight
To be fair in Storm when you get hit by a Jutsu it is beneficial to sub sometimes. You sub to avoid a knock back from attack supports, to stay close to a ranged player, or if a jutsu has a crumble you avoid the combo continuing resetting the ground game
I don’t know if anyone else is experiencing this but it’s a new bug that makes charge up even though your not holding the button down had a couple of matches where my character would just charging up and of course if you press punch or ki it’ll just do one of your special moves…this game needs help
one thing they didn't add in the document was the abillity to change characters super attacks/skills (which was a thing from raging blast1/2 which i really liked)
And bandai has to read it and make the changes.... I hope, I really hope they do. Sparking zero is a gem and could become one of the greatest games of dragon ball and I really wanted to be the db best game evrr. To be able to enjoy it online with the new gen of consoles and pc, but it is what it is. Also, crossplay should also be implemented among all this super long list.
The sweeps are vanishable but only vanishable. This move has a simple rhythm pattern that will keep sweeping player with no drawbacks. I want the recovery to be faster to where i can block low or gets rid of that rhythm
I feel like slowing down skill point speed will make DP battles way longer than they are now, but i do think vanishes shouldnt increase the skill gauge
How do you feel about, while wild sense/afterimage is active(meaning you lost the skill points) your skill bar doesn’t refil until it’s used. Do you think that would promote a more thoughtful use of the skills?
One thing that wasn’t here that I’d like to see is some type of rhyme or reason to unblockable ultimates. I’m not against them being in the game but some of them feel unblockable “just cause” I’d be okay if some rush attacks had a grab property to be unblockable but stuff like Broly or SSJ2 Gohan makes no sense to me
I haven’t played this game since first week I hit z and dropped it. But I tune into the drama in the sparking community 😂. Funny thing is if all this was implemented 80 percent of community would then cry its way to hard because a lot of players who think they are good would go to being trash lol. Idk 😂 also think this is way more than a patch. This is more like a complete overhaul. Again I don’t have skin in the game unless my friends hit me up I won’t be on it lol. The argument between balance, unbalance , comp ect is funny. Even Bt3 pros 😂. Like I feel like the word pro is thrown around way way too much. Will be interesting what happens

I feel you so much on this. Toxic positivity is really the phrase cus man... you weren't allowed to say ANYTHING remotely negative about the game without the defense force coming for you and talking about how perfect the game is.
Moaners will ruin the game water it down because they’re trash at a game… for me just fix the rage quitting issue . Add dlc and as long as we get constant content for the game we are golden do not nerf or balance characters any character is beatable .
I agree with maybe 90% of this a few things i dont are Ki Sickness I always felt that Ki sickness felt bad. I'd rather there be a cooldown on skills. I also disagree with cooldown on Ki Blasts I see no need for that unless the cooldown is strictly for sparking mode. I also like the idea of making short dashes costing ki for movement speed cause it should be a resource imo it leans in to the resource war and helps balance it further instead of like in Tenkaichi 3 being free. There were a few other little things i disagreed with that were just trying to make this game more like the old Tenkaichi games and the old Tenkaichi games were great don't get me wrong but I don't want this game to be a copy of that I want it to be similar sure but I think those games had flaws as well and If I wanted to play those games I'd just play them. Another thing they didn't mention on the giants I have a opinion on is that the low cost like 5dp or lower Giants like Wheelo, great ape vegeta, and janemba for instance should get insta flinched by all 6dp characters now this is just for those 5dp or lower not those above.
Why should generic flying around on the biggest maps of the entire series should be so ki intensive when everything else already is? That just tones down the overall movement in general for Z-burst to be only way to get around.
I know this is completely random and lotus hasn’t mentioned it, but I gotta feeling kof is gonna be his new jam when it comes out. As much as I like the content lotus puts out, it just hits different when he has a good fighting game to sink his teeth into

if u know ur opponent is going to try do a super perception to ur rush combo.. just side step them, instead and open them up from behind.. i don't see how people complain about things that can just be punished. .

most people that complain about these issues don't realise there are already ways to deal with the mechanics in game, eg: perception mashing can tech throws, but it can't tech a heavy smash. ithe whole reason for the perception cancel is to react to vanishes.. how else u gonna deal with mixups.. i feel most ideas and fixes people mention will just slow the game down and make it less about reflex and more on resource management. this just creates more zoning playstyle that isn't everyone's playstyle. i speak on this subject as someone that doesn't play meta characters or rely on cheap gimmicks to win and yet I don't see the issue on how anyone plays. just learn 2 deal with ur opponents playstyle.
it’s to fix neutral, it’s the fact that there’s so many mechanics that make playing the game feel so sluggish. Spamming perception is annoying when it realigns & you can still tech grabs from it. Trust me I beat spammers too with frost paralyze blast but it makes the game feel so redundant when one move can cancel about 4/5 of your options

We've heard of patch notes, this is the first I've heard of a patch request.

I think they should shorten after image strike from 15 secs to 10 secs.
Also we need the timer on screen.

The game is broken at it's base level. It was only a hype machine, done its job. No reason to put money into it because no sane person would buy it.

Just repeat the perception and it readjusts the character, you already see it in the gif they posted.
