hi friends! please please PLEASE like this video and help me decide on paint for the bedroom and fabric for the living room! vote 1 or 2 for the paints and 1, 2 or 3 for the curtains! I love you for watching and I'll see you next week with a brand new episode of "can we talk?!" love, daniel
For the curtains - I was going to say 3 but ya girl was shopping for herself and for YOU, I feel that 2 is perfect. Elegant, soft, classy. I love it. Also, I’m the same way about my car. It’s my safe space! We had some similarities in our lives as kids. I had an unstable father that my mom and I also had to run from. That man owes me thousands of dollars with all the therapy I had to go through because of him!! BUT, from trauma we learn resilience, wisdom, and a deep sense of empathy. You are so in tuned with yourself and give wonderful advice. Thank you for sharing your life with us ❤️
I think the best part of growing up is realizing that you have to do what's best for yourself. If that means letting go if relationships that you've outgrown or just really aren't that deep then so be it. You eye for design never fails to amaze me so i love seeing how you shop and pair things together to come up with your aesthetic.
Obsessed with these types of videos being so authentic, every time you share personal childhood stories / experiences the more I feel like I can relate and I love that I wasn’t alone in that aspect. 💕🤗
Daniel you have given great advice regarding slowing down enjoying and learning more of yourself. You really look so happy and at peace and as you say looking GORGEOUS lol. Sending you positive vibes and good energy.
It is mind blowing to me that you don’t have 5 million subscribers!!! You are generous, kind, extremely talented and funny as all get out. That Forest Gump wave in the field a few videos back was hilarious!!! Keep up the great work!!!
#1 for curtains, it’s the most you! It won’t scream holiday.. #1 for bedroom, dark and moody is your vibe and will flow nicely with the rest of the home. You really picked good choices for both spaces so you really can’t go wrong with either choice! Can’t wait to see the finished spaces.
32 year old here also learning to embrace and appreciate the peace and self discovery that comes with solitude and leaning into my loneliness. When I'm feeling overwhelmed with emotions, I like to go for a long drive and talk out my feelings in a voice note. It's almost like we're living parallel lives!! Thank you for sharing your vulnerability with us and in those tough moments when being alone is scary, I hope you can remember this virtual hug from me!!! XOXO
I love EVERYTHING you said when you talked about being there for yourself!❤ I took was raised with an alcoholic father so my childhood was chaotic so as a 62 yo adult I chose the same for myself years ago. It was so freeing.❤
I think 1 for the curtains. The poppy’s are spectacular!! I don’t think the pattern is too overwhelming, but go with your intuition. Also, I vote coffee color for the walls (option 2). The green is gorgeous, it could make the room more cave-like and take away from the overall decor. I love you so much Daniel. Thank you for being so real with us! ❤
I love curtain 1 it's so vibrant and poppy it'll pop so well against the green, but 2 is the safer more muted option, and it won't be too distracting from the room. Want it to pop go with 1 don't want to take away from the room then 2. Not helpful I know! 😂 And for your bedroom option 2. It will make your room more unique, and it'll add that extra warmth you want. Great vid too!
I LOVE 1 for the curtains! I feel like the colors pop instead of the tan in the room, especially if you're worrying about the tan taking over! :) regardless of your choice, I know you will make it STUNNING as always❤
Concerning the curtains #2 is my favorite, but i see why you like #1. For your bedroom, honestly go all the way dark imo. It'd be dark, relaxing, a chill zen place to rest and sleep :3
I vote #2. It’s beautiful and muted. The others are beautiful also but the middle one is giving Daniel’s cozy house vibes. Also, I have lightning bolts in my earlobes tooooo
I love your little advice on spending time on yourself and analyzing what needs to change❤. These are things that are lovely reminders that we sometimes need to hear to feel validated. Thank you!!
Daniel, I love your new home renovation and a new puppy from outside of your house in downtown L.A. on this video after you went to the movies to see "Barbie" for the first time, so I'm proud of you for that!! #puppy #goldenretriever #homedecor
I vote #2! Love your content. You do seem happy and I am thrilled to see it. You seem so confident in yourself and what you do and don't want in your life. Some people never get there. Having a difficult childhood is something that I understand very, very well and at some point you have to come to terms with how it has affected you and understanding that you may need to adjust to grow. I think you have done that and I am so happy for you.
The talk in your car about giving so much of yourself to other people but looking back there aren’t people there for you like that…. I felt that so hard. I’m someone who would rather be busy and productive and on the go because then I don’t have idle time with my thoughts. I’m learning to enjoy time alone and appreciate my own existence without being dependent on anyone else. Thank you for this!!
You're doing an awesome job on the renovations of your home! I think #2 for the curtains and bathroom, and the taupe/caramel for the beadboard with the green wallpaper in your bedroom. I'm happy to hear you're in a good and happy place with yourself. I enjoy the way you talk with us like we're your friends and share ideas, advice, etc. Your channel is interesting, and you're a good person with a kind and caring heart. Thank you! 😊❤👍
Daniel, I love what you shared in your car time! I absolutely relate and have done so much more of spending time with myself this year which I really feel like I needed. I was definitely sucked dry (and not in a nasty way! Haha!) It’s just important to rejuvenate. ❤️
Not me taking myself to lunch in my car mid day and hearing your insight. Wow. I need to enjoy the life I’ve built for myself and stay present. I vote 1!!
Sunday just got better 😊I haven’t been feeling so great lately and your videos give me life 🙏🏻 Thank you for being so real ❤Love number 2 for curtains and 1 for paint …. Love from Canada
My eye immediately went to 1- but 2 would also be cute for the curtains. I think changing it up in the bedroom will be nice. But it’s whatever you’re loving- it’s your sanctuary 🥰
#1 for the fabric. For the paint? #2. Loved the car chat about being alone and taking a pause on life's chaos. You are so genuine and honest. Love-love-love your content. Always. ♥️♥️♥️
The most important thing to do when decorating your home is just go with what makes you the most comfortable and happy because you are going to be the one living there every day so if you don't enjoy it then it will never feel like home
And for your bedroom, I like the idea of the coffee/caramel color on the beadboard with the wall paper you’re using in the bathroom. It’ll lend to continuity from the bathroom to the bedroom. Love that idea, it’s a rich aesthetic and great for resale. People really like continuity, it’s pleasing to the eye. And that muted green on the wallpaper with that caramel color on the beadboard are both so calming, perfect for a bedroom. ♥️
I adore the deeper colored fabric number 1! ❤ For the walls 2!! Love that wallpaper and making the other part of the wall the light color, will showcase the paper as the star❤
#1 for curtains. I think the lighter paint in the bedroom will help it to not be as cavelike/darker. Also, I’ve been wanting to have some quiet time with myself, too. So it’s nice to know someone else is going through this, too
I always enjoy the chaotic car chats with Daniel 😅. Isn’t it great when you come to the realization that happiness isn’t in the next place or the next job or even the next partner but it’s when you take yourself to see a movie, walk in the rain to get a coffee and ham and cheese croissant and can think “I am happy”. I appreciate your honesty and openness in all your videos. Light caramel paint with the green wallpaper would be my choice.
You are genuinely SUCH A Beautiful dude... 😍😅🤷♀&!! I love everything that you Upload! Thanks so much for this, Daniel! 🥰 It always nice to get an update on you! &!! Your life! Haha 😘🙏😅
I love 1 for the curtains because of how busy it is and such a pop of color. 2 would be my back up tho for the curtains. For the paints def 2 hands down.
#2 for sure! It flows more with the green wall. It blends vs competes with the space :) And, for your bedroom, I think option #2. The lighter colour on the bottom would provide more light & breathing room.
#2 for the curtains! Daniel, would you ever do like a weekly short Mental Health Videos? I grew up with the same parent situation as you. Needless to say, I’ve found out that I have the same emotional struggles as you sometimes. I would be so interested in hearing more about your mental health journey please ♥️♥️
For the walls even though all green is really beautiful , I think the caramel wall would be a nice change and still look like it goes with the rest of the house! Love your style!😊
The second fabric is fantastic!!! It's classic and beautifully neutral !!! As for the bedroom ,option number 2 will be perfect!!!Thank you for your amazing videos,Daniel!! Many hugs and kisses from Greece!!!!!!
What you don’t choose for curtains you can maybe make a pillow or two out of ! 1 is my favorite but I get that it could read “too busy” but I think it goes really well with the green walls
I like 1 for the curtains, they pop and remind me of the Wizard of Oz poppies ( my favorite movie and matches the retro vibe). I like 2 for the bead board. That caramel shade with the green wallpaper will contrast perfectly IMO
I'm going with 2 for the curtains. Definitely 2for the bedroom, I think too dark it's going to make the room look way too tiny. Can't wait to see the finished look! 💕
The car is a comfort zone for me as well, I actually unpacked a bit of that in my journal over the weekend haha - interesting to see someone else feel that way too!
That lampshade is EVERYTHINGGGG: PS I think you need your boarding in the bedroom to be cool toned or it will make your wallpaper look dull/one dimensional. I think either a cool taupe would be lovely, or just commit to cool toned dark green. Just make sure it doesn't suck the colour out of the walls which you will want to pop as a focal point. I wish you'd have done done side by sides with swatches. You can always brighten up a darker room with bold accessories/textures/thoughtful lighting.
I'd do #2 for the curtains (the red one is gorgeous, but too christmassy for me) and the darkest green for your bedroom. Yes, it's dark, but it will make your bedframe and windows pop, and it is easy to soften and lighten up with sheets, candles etc.
#2! Daniel, I just love you and your videos! You are amazing, talented and just so warm! You have an incredibly blessed life and you so deserve everything good that comes your way! Keep up your awesome videos! 😊
Number 1 for curtains your instinct was I love this one, your instinct is always right! Also super jealous of your lampshade I’ve been looking at ones similar on Etsy for £70-100! 😊
2 for the fabric as sunflower pattern will bring a soft vibrancy to the space. And cool toned colours for the bedroom. I haven’t watched the Barbie movie yet also. But I’m loving the vlog content ❤
I would go 1 for all dark in the bedroom. The 3rd color of green, the dark one, goes fabulously with that wallpaper. Go for it. Not to mention that pleated lampshade on that lamp, TO DIE FOR!
hi friends! please please PLEASE like this video and help me decide on paint for the bedroom and fabric for the living room! vote 1 or 2 for the paints and 1, 2 or 3 for the curtains! I love you for watching and I'll see you next week with a brand new episode of "can we talk?!" love, daniel
2 is beautiful
Number 2 for the curtains and 1 for the paint. Love when you post makes my day better!
1, I feel the red poppies tie in with the red brick fireplace
2 for the curtains, it’s beautiful ❤
3 like helloo
2 for curtains, 2 for the light for your bedroom.
Absolutely! 2 & 2
I'm with you guys
For the curtains - I was going to say 3 but ya girl was shopping for herself and for YOU, I feel that 2 is perfect. Elegant, soft, classy. I love it. Also, I’m the same way about my car. #2 gets my vote!!!
For both the curtains and the bedroom design.
2 for the curtains and the bedroom walls absolutely!
I vote 1! Thank you for the car chat about being comfortable in your own silence. I appreciated that and needed to hear it.
#2 Daniel, love it so decadent. Love to you and the family. Love to the pups as well.
taste
#1 for curtains, it’s the most you! It won’t scream holiday.. #1 for bedroom, dark and moody is your vibe and will flow nicely with the rest of the home. You really picked good choices for both spaces so you really can’t go wrong with either choice! Can’t wait to see the finished spaces.
I'm a designer and I always keep the lower half darker. Darker on top visually makes the room feel like the walls are slanted in

I like 1’s vibrancy but love how soft #2 is….check them out in different stages of light throughout the day.
My vote is 1 for the curtains. I love how it’s brighter than the others and doesn’t blend into the walls.
2 for the paint.
I would go 1 all dark. It's a bedroom, best to sleep in. Good lighting will make it feel brighter when necessary 😊
#2 for curtains for sure I love delicate and soft it is there’s just something about it that gives off elegance
Definitly 2! LOVE the sneekpeak of the bathroom :)
#1 for the curtains. If poppies speak to your heart, listen!
I LOVE 1 for the curtains! I feel like the colors pop instead of the tan in the room, especially if you're worrying about the tan taking over! :) regardless of your choice, I know you will make it STUNNING as always❤
#2 on the drapes and #2 on the bedroom design absolutely love the vibes so far totally my vibes as well
Concerning the curtains #2 is my favorite, but i see why you like #1. For your bedroom, honestly go all the way dark imo. It'd be dark, relaxing, a chill zen place to rest and sleep :3
I feel the car situation, my sister was an addict growing up so home always felt heavy. My car was my safe space 💕
I vote #2. It’s beautiful and muted. The others are beautiful also but the middle one is giving Daniel’s cozy house vibes. Also, I have lightning bolts in my earlobes tooooo
Definitely number 1 for the curtains, it’s the most stunning in my opinion.
I love it but so nervous for the heavy reds in it 🫠
@@MisterPreda It’s the most, “Omg, where did you find that???” The other ones are nice, but look easily dupable.
@@MisterPredaBtw, for the paint, I prefer #2. I really like the idea of a contrasting color in a caramel shade.
4:13 gives the same energy as that vine that’s like “there’s a tornado forming!!! but we goin SHOPPING 🤩”
You do look dapper! The car chat was lovely, so full of truths and good reminders! I vote #1 and that lampshade was a score. I’d say caramel! 🥰☀️
I love your little advice on spending time on yourself and analyzing what needs to change❤. These are things that are lovely reminders that we sometimes need to hear to feel validated. Thank you!!

2! I love the muted yet flattering colors that compliment the green walls
I love 2 for the curtains and 2 for your bedroom. The Carmel sounds lovely.
2 for me Daniel, it'll create a subdued ambience and will not compete with anything else. 1 is striking and you will notice it straight away. 😊⭐🧡
You are genuinely SUCH A Beautiful dude... 😍😅🤷♀&!! I love everything that you Upload! Thanks so much for this, Daniel! 🥰 It always nice to get an update on you! &!! Your life! Haha 😘🙏😅

Definitely 2😊for living room. 1 for the bedroom. Love a dark and moody bedroom.
1 for curtains and 2 for bathroom! I love the light in bathrooms and darker vibes for bedrooms

Love love #1 fabric. It will just make you happy! It’s just seems richer than the others.
2 for bedroom but I like things light not dark.
I pick #1 fabric. Love the depth of color! Yes make the beadboard a lighter color
DEFINITELY 1 for both curtains and paint!

#2 for the curtains and second option for bedroom!
I vote #1 for both! Good to see you again, Daniel!❤🫂
I like 1 for the curtains, they pop and remind me of the Wizard of Oz poppies ( my favorite movie and matches the retro vibe). I like 2 for the bead board. That caramel shade with the green wallpaper will contrast perfectly IMO
Number 2 for curtains and for your bedroom I feel like dark Carmel for your bedroom! I love earth tone’s especially green.
#1 hands down ( drapes). Wallpaper and light paint for the bedroom
2 for your bedroom, coffee color, and green would be so pretty!
I'm going with 2 for the curtains. Definitely 2for the bedroom, I think too dark it's going to make the room look way too tiny. Can't wait to see the finished look! 💕
The trumpet pleated lamp shade ❤
Number two for the curtains. Unsure about the paint color. You are just wonderful!
The car is a comfort zone for me as well, I actually unpacked a bit of that in my journal over the weekend haha - interesting to see someone else feel that way too!
Haircut looks great 😊💜 I liked option 2 the best for those spaces (for both questions). Wolfe and Storm are always so cute together 😍😍
That lampshade is EVERYTHINGGGG:
PS I think you need your boarding in the bedroom to be cool toned or it will make your wallpaper look dull/one dimensional. 1 for the curtains and 2 for the bedroom. Change it up a little. You are my inspiration for my bedroom makeover. Wish I was as good at it as you!
#2! Daniel, I just love you and your videos! You are amazing, talented and just so warm! You have an incredibly blessed life and you so deserve everything good that comes your way! Keep up your awesome videos! 😊
#2 is so soft and looks great with your green wall. #2 with the caramel color below the wallpaper wall in the bedroom.
Number 1 for curtains your instinct was I love this one, your instinct is always right! Also super jealous of your lampshade I’ve been looking at ones similar on Etsy for £70-100! 😊
I love #1 for the fabric, I love the pop of color! I would go with #2 light caramel to go with the darker wall paper. ❤
I love 1 for curtains it gives that pop of color and it doesn’t read Christmas colors and 1 for bedroom I love moody colors for bedrooms
1 for the curtains sweetie. I am so happy you are doing so great, I can tell. XO
It may be too late, but 2 & 2 would be my preferred options. Always love your video content!
2 for the fabric as sunflower pattern will bring a soft vibrancy to the space. And cool toned colours for the bedroom. I haven’t watched the Barbie movie yet also. But I’m loving the vlog content ❤
Curtains-#2!! I think it will give the room softer edges and brighten it up
Curtains: option 2
Paint: option 2
So fun seeing your home come together!
Absolutely love #1 for curtains and #1 for the bedroom
I like Number 2…I love the subtlety and the softness of it ❤️
I would go 1 for all dark in the bedroom. The 3rd color of green, the dark one, goes fabulously with that wallpaper. Go for it. Not to mention that pleated lampshade on that lamp, TO DIE FOR!
