My name is Jerilyn and welcome to OUR HOMESCHOOL TABLE! I am a mom of three kids! They are currently ten, three and one! I taught Kindergarten for six years before I began staying home. We started homeschooling in 2019 and I love sharing about all things homeschool, curriculum and planning!

So glad you are making changes that suit your family better. This is a great tip for beginners. I think that is the hardest part when you have to spend so much on a curriculum and it doesn't work out. Thanks for sharing!
We are in week 8 and loving our Sonlight time which includes K, B, and F.
All of their independent subjects are from CLE and are going well.

Can you link the green basket at the beginning of your video that is holding all of your curricula?
Hi Jerilyn 😊I do love watching your videos and am always getting inspiration from you, your days, schedules/routines and book/curricula used. I'm curious how you decide what subjects/topics to include each year. I'd like to build up our day to include poetry, composers, more memorization and copywriter and character building. I don't want to load it all up at once and could use some guidance 😊
@@jenbarletta5540 Hi! Great question. I might have to add that to my video line up. 😃
Here’s the nutshell:
1. My state has very little requirement for homeschool subjects etc. so in younger years I stuck with the basics. Reading and Math and a sprinkle of History and Science.
2. In about 2nd grade I decided to add in some Character study. That was my first priority for additional subjects.
3. Then we did more with Hymns, Artists, Composers and Poetry from 3rd grade and on. My daughter enjoys it a lot. So we continue. All of my inspiration for those subjects come from Simply Charlotte Mason and Ambleside Online.

We have had to tweak our spelling and writing programs. But overall, it's a great year so far!

what brand machine did you use to make the booklets? {with the coiled binding}
