Beatles : Revolution 9 : whole song played backwards - weird!

- I was in two minds whether to upload this or not. It is purely for diehard Beatles fans who wish to hear the whole of this weird concoction played backwards. Rest assured there are no hidden messages, and nothing of interest. The video footage is from the same period, and is also run backwards - just for the hell of it.
I didn't plan on sleeping anyway
At one point it repeats " turn me on dead man"

Revolution 9 has always freaked me out
Same but i love 18
Me too
Have always listened to it while playing all 4 sides of the White! You just can't dismiss it....
Yes me too. But very entertaining.
Creepy af
" as time went by, we get a little bit older, and a little bit slower."
Dear John Lennon,
What the hell?
Sincerely,
All the Beatlemaniacs.
Breigha Bear Way too much LSD and too much Yono
I still love him tho :)
4:20 scared the crap out of me
I've been a huge fan since before I could read, and I've loved this piece since I first heard it at age (of course) nine. The eerie sounds have always stoked my imagination and emotions in the same welcome way that a good horror film does; in the same way that the sound effects on "Dark Side of the Moon" always have. It demands that your own mind supply the imagery. And it's the only possible way to set up the ultra-sweet finale "Good Night". Love it forward or backward. Thanks for posting this.
I'm really glad you shared this. So glad you did as I consider meself a die hard BEATLE freak. Thank you!
Did Yoko say Satan look at me?!?!??
Yup
I am a fan of this song! I have been since I was 8 years old!
In 1969. It STILL scares the crap out of me! This is the hell that was happening in 1968 in the U.S., and it's on it's way back! Both FORWARD and BACKWARD.
It is creepier played forward, especially decades ago before scarier sounds came along. Only Yoko with her child-like voice at the start saying what sounds like "Satan-look at me" is of interest, but what she really says, which is "If-we become naked" has always been an eerie, yet adequate conclusion to the chaotic chorus of noise that precedes it. Play it at Halloween and the rest of The White album all the time!
Very Dark and Chilling regardless of the direction.
Agree
This is actually my favorite Beatles song... but also the weirdest song I've heard...
Satan knobber.
Paul was experimenting with tape recorders, doing looping, this is scarry ! Paull, and the Beatles are Geniuses!
Paul had nothing to do with Revolution 9.
05:33, dude forgot to feed the cats...
Isn't it interesting that we have to look back at earlier times to find something worthwhile. Where are todays Beatles?
The internet happened.
4:07 "yea? grow up."
its so clear wth
no one here heard the "satan, look at me."???
I listened to this song last night. When I went to sleep and had a dream, this was playing in the background. Had to listen again, so wonderful
Hey dude, Me too! Lol
sfbridges1 are you okay
Last night, I had a dream. You were in it, and I was in it with you.
This Beatles collage goes great with Revolution#9.
It's cool as hell both ways psychedelicly speaking
Total Madness.= John Lennon's world.
All around me are familiar faces
It sounds like the only part of the song that wasn't reversed on the original version is the part that says "number nine" to me.
XD
Ich will raus, let him go, let him out! (forward beginning)
0:26 “SATAN LOOK AT ME”
Love the footage with George Marin. Stylish, classy guy.
The only reason the wonderful Beatles put the junk called number 9 on the LP is they were trying to make it a double to get to the end of the EMI contract quicker. And re-sign a better deal. My favorite all time group but listened to 9 once and that was it.
5:36 Get me out!
Perfect rendition for #9. How Russian
Love the images and video clips
0:24 I Heard Satan Look At Me
1:25 "why are we deceptive of sentience"
As a manson family follower there is a flip side to this. tripping
To be fair I wasn't born when beatlemania was around but I can truly say I've never heard this song forwards hahahahaaaa is always backwards. I'd like to compare it lots of modern day songs and see if we can find secret messages in those which I highly think we could if we tried
well just for the hell of it it's great needed to see the second version of this it had pictures & movies of the beatles the first the words to facebook ..hitomi kind of sounds like Jimi hendrix space ship sounds at times he made with his guitar 05.00
Seems I’ve found myself down another rabbit hole.
The Lab Muels Nod Off. That's the subliminal message I got.
I distinctly heard, "this little piggy went to market"
I heard "take my cow", what
@7:26, it repeats 2 x "we need peace"?
2:10 "Lennon's Shot"
the is more then one thing playing at the same time
I love it backwards
An amazing creation. Very creepy and intriguing
5:33 let me out paul McCartney car crash reference
Funny Revolution 9 sounds about the same backwards as it does forward - random noises!
Video images are great, but what is the point with the sound? Either forward or backwards are equally strange, you can make whatever you want out of it.
my lights just flickered. bye guys🔪✨
is this the whole song backwards, from what I understand this is just the song. and in the recording of the song some bits within it were reversed.
Wtf is this?????
I'm here from Steve t, i hear "turn me on dead man"
I didn't hear, Paul is dead, but I did hear, let me ask someone.
Yoko was to blame fot this.
At 1:45 I Heard Turn Me On That Man ×3
how else would they the beatles as talented as where to not get it playing it backwards the sound they did get then putting in forwards also sure sounds like it not was not supposed to be messages they where trippy guys only Paul AND Ringo
I don't get why people think this is freaky backwards. It doesn't make any comprehensible words, it's just backwards jibberish.
There is NO hidden messages, simply put. Because English is a phonetical language for the most part, too many syllables can sound similar: ph, f, gh... t, ght, etc. In Spanish for example there is "no such thing" as back-masking because syllables rarely sound similar to one another in which if played backwards can sound like other words... in any way! There is the slight possibility that a word might turn up out of an entire song... and that's nothing to do with creepiness.
SimpleSencilla not true. these people sit in studios and can trial and error run this this shit until it says something theyd like it too. many people do this. what theyd like it to say and the amount of creepiness involved is up to the artist.
Free your mind, and the clues will follow.
1:15 HELP HELP
Number 9
fro captions try the frozen squirrel version.
Has anyone got any harm after listening it completely?
I listened to it completely before and your comment makes this even more creepier 😭
@@peace7285 Have you ever heard of the labianca murders?
In 1969 5 people (including a pregnant woman) were murdered in a villa in Hollywood.
Allegedly Charles Manson was involved in the matter and was sentenced to life imprisonment.
He said this murder is inspired by this beatles song.
The beatles said in an interview in a different context that they once took lsd at a party in this villa.
Accidentaly the same villa where the murders took place.
@@DieselSmoke2191 Really? That sounds horrifying. I heard that the murder was pretty brutal. Should've made my decisions wisely before watching this vid.
@@DieselSmoke2191 I'm pretty sure the only song Charles Manson was inspired by is Helter Skelter, at least to popular belief.
Trippy!
Deus é mais
It sounds the same wtf
evil
Sounds the same to me🤣
Cool.
Can't understand it.
slow the baby voice down till it sounds like a man with an head injury
My cat likes it

Deus é mais gsuixxx credo sai demônio
Love The Beatles, but I maintain that Revolution 9 is drugged out garbage. And The White Album has some of their worst songs.
