When I was watching My Happy Marriage as soon as I heard the music I was able to recognize it was his music. I'm binging Frieren now that it's over and he always composes such good and meaningful tracks.
The bgm in Frieren’s episode 9 (Fern and Stark battling the demons) is legit SO COOOOOL.
Evan Call creates such lush orchestral compositions for the anime he works on! His scores bring such a cinematic scope to Violet Evergarden, My Happy Marriage, and Frieren: Beyond Journey's End. Fantastic!
I'm really enjoying the music of My Happy Marriage, hopefully this gets a 2nd season and you'll come back composing again.

アニメに憧れて日本にやってきた外国人で、実際に成功した声優とか漫画家とかアニメーターとか、何人かは知ってるけど、この人ほど成功してる人はいないと思う。しかもサウンドトラックという門が狭い特殊な分野で。
バークリー音楽大学を卒業して、ハリウッド映画音楽の世界に進むか迷ったけど、子供の頃から好きだったアニメの道を志し、来日した。日本にやってくる行動力ももちろんすごいけど、実際に才能が備わってるかは別の話だし、才能があっても、ちゃんとその才能を見つけてもらって然るべき仕事をもらえるかも別の話。
エヴァンコールはその全てが揃い、成功して、今は然るべき立場にいる。本当にすごい。
日本語もここまで喋れるとは知らなかった。本当に頭がいいんだろう。
ヴァイオレット・エヴァーガーデンや葬送のフリーレンなど錚々たる顔ぶれを手掛けてきて、これから手掛ける仕事の幅もどんどん広がっていくと思うし色んなとこで彼の才能に触れる機会が増えると思う。これからが楽しみ。
Evan Call se ha vuelto uno de mis compositores favoritos por la banda sonora de Violet Evergarden, Frieren y obviamente por My Happy Marriage, especificamente por la canción "Softly Sings the Heart".
Me gustaría que en un futuro talvez pueda colaborar junto con Yuki Kajiura y Go Shiina para la realización de la banda sonora de las proximas entregas de kimetsu no yaiba. Creo que su estilo y talento se complementaría muy bien con el de ellos.

I remember being enamored of Violet Evergarden's music the instant I started watching the show. A few years later as I was watching My Happy Marriage, I noticed how beautiful the music was and how much it reminded me of Violet Evergarden's. I honestly wasn't surprised when I found out that Evan Call composed the music for it. I just started watching Frieren and found out that Evan composed the music for the show aswell.
I can't wait to listen to his future projects, his music enhances wonderful stories into something even more spectacular.
