  • The 2nd or 3rd wave of Winter storms hits. This one starts out with freezing rain and sleet causing slick roads and multiple slide-offs and crashes. We are dispatched to the scene of a jack-knifed semi that is blocking one lane of the interstate and then we get called to bring both our rollbacks, tilt trays, to the same site. NO INJURIES!!! Please SLOW DOWN & MOVE OVER!!! Thanks for watching and God bless!!!

Sure sorry that you are having so much bad weather but I must say that here in the sunny (yeah maybe) south (South Carolina that is) all we have had is rain and more rain. Ron, your the most amazing Tow truck operator known to me. All you do is totally out of this world. The training you produce is fantastic. May God always at you side no matter what you doing. Your absolutely the best at all you do . Although we have never met I think of you as one of my best friends. May God bless you and your family. Your whole family are God fearing and I never hear you use and cuss name or take the Lord’s name in vain. That’s a rear commodity in this world. Thank you for that quality and thank your parents for bring you up the rest right way. It’s amazing to know somebody like that. I guess not everyone is like that. Please never change Ron. Your totally amazing my Friend.

Amen! I get so disgusted at some of the police videos cursing an especially the F bomb ! Sure they get frustrated we all do! Mr Ron sure does but what time I’ve been watching him, he’s not cursed or even raised his voice or degraded any of the employees! Great job Mr. Ron. It also did my heart great hearing Ethan working with “ Tumble Weed “ he just sounded just like you when you were teaching him and some of the others!
Just like another person commented “ You’re a Real Professional Professor!

First of all, we usually watch on big screen TV and there is no way to comment. So this is my first comment and please excuse the length, but I just wanted you all to know.
Ron and all at Midwest Truck. We have watched every single video in order starting at the very beginning, catching up at about five videos ago. We watched a few each evening over the Covid winter months. We are pretty picky about what we watch and we choose among the best UA-cam has to offer. We appreciate the clean content and commitment to detail as you take us along with you, driving video or not, on the work site while you all solve the rigging problems, work the angles, and clean up the crash sites as well as the other work you do that doesn't involve crashes. Gotta appreciate that good work ethic and steadfast commitment to safety of all at the scene; sends a good message and encouragement as to what it takes to make this country go. You've got us for life as we look forward to every new video. God bless and keep you all at Midwest Truck.

One of the most interesting pieces of advice I've heard about approaching one of those big pileups on ice was to just get going as far right as your vehicle will go. Buried to the rocker panels in frozen mud with the heater still working beats the heck out of crunched up in the pile, and there's going to be at least one wrecker that has to wait for others to clear the path, so you can get a quick winch out and be on your way.

Atlanta, Georgia has seen some big snow and ice storms that completely shut down all the major highways and roads where vehicles were just parked on the roads and couldn't move at all. We were totally unprepaired for such a massive storm. Things have changed now thank goodness. I am just glad I haven't had to travel in any of it. I always love your videos. Always exciting and entertaining to see how things are done from your viewpoint.

My heart goes out to you, having to live in a blast freezer on a seasonal basis. Although I live close to Antarctica it rarely gets as bad as those of you in the Northern hemisphere.

Out west we're able to have studded tires. (we have mountains) I had some with 4 rows. Two on each side and two in the center.

When the road conditions are like that it’s better to arrive late to accident scene then early to the pearly gates! 😖

In New England (where I am) is cold but "Spring is only 23 days away so things will get better.
I know, With Covid, and a long winter things are getting hard on everyone.
My thoughts and prayers are with everyone every day. Stay safe everyone.

Ron is great. The one thing I see is he's always "Do this... no, I'll do it." (i.e. releasing the slack on the rollback near the end.

    Hello Ron,
I know the truck is loaded and not stuck and not that much of a ditch. Could you have used the green drag winch for a faster recovery. Love the video's keep up the good work and god bless and stay safe.
