So many references and confirmed canon things for CH metaverse. I really like how Cam being missing is somehow stabilizing everybody else. To be fair, last time he did nothing and therefore has nothing to do with James' revenge.
Sometimes when I watch vlogs I think to myself "Man, I'd love to see them in a Sitcom setting" and with you I get exactly that. I really love Commodore Hustle and Friday Nights! Thanks for making such good content!
My now one expectation in life is to wait for the August Loading Time, to see the scene about someone going to Mac Donald's and ask "I'd like fourteen boxes of twenty nuggets please"
So excited for PAX Aus next month, though also terrified of the packing situation! I'm very keen to see who is making the trip this year. I missed last year, but was stoked to get to meet Graham and Kathleen the year before!!
Glad you guys are still making videos. Used to watch before the UA-cam days. Was watching Fail Army and saw Graham sack himself with nunchuks over on Pembroke. Classic Graham.
MegamanXGold I came to them via escapist and zero punctuation. Saw this little video segment called Unskipable and been with them for over a decade now 👍🏻.
He made a bag of holding... I think the PSA would confiscate it, and The Government would attempt to reverse engineer it... If it didn't explode due to a random Baggage Check...
Seriously though, I would give my heart for a Yugioh youtube show on the level of Friday nights, I don't even need to live to see it, I just want the world to have it.
An old cH episode was about Mtg as they waited in a line at Pax (ua-cam.com/video/AnV2ewAXgvs/v-deo.html). It was popular so they made an offshoot of cH called Friday Nights which is now on the Magic the Gathering UA-cam channel.
I mean...kinda? It's what sparked them to do the "It's Magic" cH and I believe that and Tally's felt perilous myr is what caught Wizards attention to reach out to them.
Weeell, more like "It's Magic" and the first handful of Friday Nights episodes. After the first 4 episodes (and likely the felt stuff too and other here and there references), there started to be some contact. It started small and slow, and build up pretty quick after the friday nights things... at least thats what it feel like on the outside. I remember the first direct 'wizards did a thing for us' being the Random card things from DnD 4th. That was in Sept of 2012, where the Friday Nights first season ended about March 2012. ua-cam.com/video/gpzYWEOozKo/v-deo.html (said feed dump) But yeah, The Boss, yes, the story of them standing in line and playing the game is both true and what ultimately led them to be doing work for Wizards in the way they do. X3
paul did you build an actual tesseract (not the marvel movie one i mean one that has greater volume inside than out like the tardis in doctor who). You know that those are banned under article 42 of the treaty on explosive luggage weaponry, how many war crimes are you up to at this point after the beer incident where you made a chemical weapon, and building power armor, to a nuclear candy bomb
6:32 I see Kathleen corpsing the scene... Meaning she tried to not smile but she did during the scene whether it was intentional or not... Just so people know and don't ask what corpsing is... I'll stop now.
“Beej, the last time we played card games in line we ended up under contract with the manufacturer”
I was just about to comment about this line...
3:55 for anyone want a context
Wait was that real? They hand a contract with the people who made magic the gathering?
@@samualwatkins They still make Friday Nights for Wizards of the Coast under contract
They are hired by Wizards of the Coast to make Friday Nights and the Preprerelease.
"Get your hands off my nugs!" -A notable phrase from Ben being a hungry boi.
Did you perhaps mean... "phrase"?
Ah yes, seem to have made a bit of a typo. Thanks for pointing it out.
Ian and Heather diving out of the way was also choice.
The little kick and sad voice Ian had at his inability to eat an "FDA-approved food additive" was adorable.
Prepper's Paradise reference!! 😂 One of my favorite crapshots lol
So many references and confirmed canon things for CH metaverse. I really like how Cam being missing is somehow stabilizing everybody else. To be fair, last time he did nothing and therefore has nothing to do with James' revenge.
I always thought CH was more flavor of the week
OMG that lottery reference though. I applaud whoever wrote that reference
Well we know it's Ian's favorite play from the Panalysts, so that's probably how it came up.
Could be pretty much any of them. A lot of them have mentioned it before
6:05 only today I realized that Beej wasn't on scene from the beginning, he slowly sat down and started eating nuggets
Kathleen is goals as a woman for her humour, personality, sharp wit and awesome style ❤
I love the magic reference
The one where they now make videos for magic?
@@ALLxISxGONE yes
Prepper's Paradise confirmed real for the cHCU
Sometimes when I watch vlogs I think to myself "Man, I'd love to see them in a Sitcom setting" and with you I get exactly that. I really love Commodore Hustle and Friday Nights! Thanks for making such good content!
My now one expectation in life is to wait for the August Loading Time, to see the scene about someone going to Mac Donald's and ask "I'd like fourteen boxes of twenty nuggets please"
Ranakel They'd probably just think they're a BC offshoot of Epic Meal Time
Love the reference to "The Lottery" in the beginning! Awesome job with the whole segment guys!
This maybe the best Commodore Hustle in a long time (and they are always pretty good). Good show, all!
This episode was great! The look of excitement Ben had with all the nuggies out on the table was absolutely precious
So Pual and BeeJ made a fragmentation grenade and the expect it to be able to be brought past border security??? So this is how Paul makes his money.
So excited for PAX Aus next month, though also terrified of the packing situation! I'm very keen to see who is making the trip this year.
I missed last year, but was stoked to get to meet Graham and Kathleen the year before!!
That callback to the Prepper's Paradise crapshot, though.
The best staged nutshot I've ever seen, for sure.
paul has invented super compressed luggage, that'll be a problem for the TSA for sure :P
He made a bag of holding... I think the PSA would confiscate it, and The Government would attempt to reverse engineer it... If it didn't explode due to a random Baggage Check...
Seriously, is this LRR or Capsule Corp?
"I'm sorry, you can't enter the country carrying what our instruments assure us is a small block of stable oganesson."
Prepper's Paradise and Industrial Valve Lubricant! Nice nod to Crapshots and Dice Friends!
One of the best episodes in while.
Keep it up, gang.
Seriously though, I would give my heart for a Yugioh youtube show on the level of Friday nights, I don't even need to live to see it, I just want the world to have it.
I love Kathleen's genuine reaction when Ben starts going lrrHAM on them nugs.
this is for sure my favorite hustle in a long time. well done!
The Lottery. You referenced The Lottery. I get it. I appreciate that joke.
LOL I just got back into Yu-Gi-Oh so don't get my hopes up that I can finally understand your card stuff.
ProfessM But what does Pot of Greed do?
SmaugUKA Show how big you are into old memes.
I know people who can help you Fur Hire
I love when Commodore Hustles reference crapshots
That continuity you guys got going on is pretty impressive.
I got Kathleen’s rock throwing reference at the beginning, and feel really bad about it for some reason.
Usually, there's a performer that really steals the show. In this one, though, it was everyone. Everyone wins.
So really, we win.
Also, *callbacks!*
The only reason no one stole the show was because Cam wasn't in it.
I like how Beej comes in during the last scene and just randomly eats a nugget and then looks really happy
Is that actually how you got support for mtg?

Yes. Literally.
I mean...kinda? It's what sparked them to do the "It's Magic" cH and I believe that and Tally's felt perilous myr is what caught Wizards attention to reach out to them.

Yup! We made an episode of cH about it, and Wizards really liked that episode, so we pitched Friday Nights to them. 7 years later, here we are!
“The nuggies are starting to congeal“ this is why loading Ready Run is my favorite channel
Honestly wanted to see more of the survival kit stuff. Suggestion for another short?....
I'm not sure anyone born after 1990 caught that piano pun, but I appreciated it.
Could you imagine the alternate Universe where LRR plays Yu-Gi-Oh (or Pokemon) and not MTG?!?!
1:25
I definitely wasn't just rewatching this playing Atelier Sophie 2...
paul did you build an actual tesseract (not the marvel movie one i mean one that has greater volume inside than out like the tardis in doctor who). You know that those are banned under article 42 of the treaty on explosive luggage weaponry, how many war crimes are you up to at this point after the beer incident where you made a chemical weapon, and building power armor, to a nuclear candy bomb
"It's a Big problem." Nice.
"It's a BIG problem." I see what you did there.
Wait, what's with the shade being thrown at Atelier games?
I really want nuggets now... I want to play that game.
Graham is quite slim in this episode, looking good bro.
Man, the PAX Pox must have mutated into something really nasty if Beej and Paul feel that they need all of that in the con kit.
Laurence Brown prepare for every eventuality, it is Paul we're talking about.
this comment is weird in hindsight
"Last time we played card games in line we ended up in contract with the manufacturer..." Lol.
There sure getting a lot of use out of that tracksuit top.
Well yeah, we’ve had the thing for 14 years
loadingreadyrun Hey I didn't say it was a bad thing 😳
Ian's mustache is insane.
Upon rewatch, I saw the saw in the luggage, and it's the BEsT.
This episode is gold
Wow. this might be the most meta episode
You know the ending is just the best
#blameJames
#MattSucks
Gotta love how they referenced a crapshot!!!
So that’s how Friday Nights was born a con line.
That hand slap. "Hands off my nugs"
God I love you guys!
Wooo! NIGORO/Playism at Pax-West!
Ben, I love you. Amazing
"It's a Big problem" holy shit you guys
Holy shit that joke oh my god I'm angry at how good that was
The Shirley Jackson Lottery reference was also choice. The writing in this was so snappy. SO GOOD.
that 'hot diggity' spoke to my soul
Ben "Hands off my nuggs" Ulmer.... Yep, totally not going to be a thing to call him during Desertbus. :P
James also forgot being banned by Costco.
I just got the "lottery with rocks" reference
i like how beej packed yugioh cards
"Hot diggity!" "Get your hands off my nugs"
3:58 cH & FN Shared Universe confirmed? 🕊️🧙
heh, orb of binding.
And now I have a psychological need for nuggets
3:58 that was how they got attached to magic
Where did Kathleen get her dress? It's amazing
Plus they also referenced it's magic!
god damn it, now i want chicken nuggets
Why Atelier specifically? I mean, I'd get it if it was specifically, like... Rorona, or maybe just one of the Arland games in general, but still.
What kind of game did Kathleen say she wouldn't play? I can't quite make it out.
it was an Atelier game. as in Atelier Totori and Atelier Meruru. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atelier_(video_game_series)
Sometimes you just gotta cram it all in there and hope the zippers hold...
Pro tip, never get between Ben and Beej and their nugs...
I need a t-shirt that says hands off my nuggs
Watching this the day after McDonald's has closed down for the quarantine. I can't get nuggets for 3 weeks.
Don’t mess with another mans nugs.
I want Kathleens dress. It's amazing
ISO ban list? What happened.
ua-cam.com/video/xxf1UWunBJ4/v-deo.html - I assume
Watch last ch
#blamejames
I have a friend that would love the McNugget challenge!
I am more of a fan of Wendy's Nuggets, or better yet, Raisin' Caine's Chicken Strips!
Ahhhh prepares paradise. That was a good crap shot
So I guess crapshot don't exist in the Chustleverse
6:32 I see Kathleen corpsing the scene...
Meaning she tried to not smile but she did during the scene whether it was intentional or not...
Just so people know and don't ask what corpsing is...
I'll stop now.
But will James ever find out what Cameron did to fuck with him?
it's why james is the best. haha
You forgot agility for coffee and food runs
that was good. thanks.
Post literally at midnight.
Nuggo centurion?
good old comedy
I want all those nuggets.
MY NUGGS
HOOTIE?!
3:57 ...Nice.
Needs more Beej
Free the nuggos!
What’s up with the hard cuts/no transitions?
