I've got a store with over 400k pieces and I moved to the country( in Aus ) and built a five car garage that I use to store all my parts and sets. Even having shelves as high as I can reach, it still takes up half of it. I used my house build money to buy all my Lego and built a little room to sleep in in one of the car spaces:) so I literally live in my BrickLink store lol.
Fantastic! Always exciting to see a new project. Make sure you take care of ventilation, you wouldn't want to get sick working in there. I find it quite incredible to be paying for such a space with your size of store, but maybe it is cheap over there? Looking forward to more updates!
Hi - yes agree that the ventilation and mould problem needs to be addressed which is something I'll be fixing before I move my Lego in there. Storage isn't cheap in the UK but it's all part of doing business :)
@@HilliansBricks You have been making it work so far ;) I heard stories about Royal Mail getting a new owner. Let's just hope the service doesn't get even worse :/
I don't have any issues with Royal Mail. In fact they are one of my most reliable. Since I stopped using 2nd class postage I've never encountered any problems with them.
Here the one big question that’s probably on everyone mind: how much do you pay for that big unit per month? Another question I have is: did you consider merging both units into one bigger one in order to keep overheads low?
The 1st question I won't be answering but I've got a great deal in my opinion otherwise I wouldn't take this risk.. I won't be merging the units. They are on the same industrial estate and 1min walk from each other.. the other unit is very much for sets, this one will be Bricklink only. In future if I were to expand again I'd likely consider a bigger unit that could combine both.. but thats for the future.
Saw this in person yesterday and was amazed at how good it looks !!! Awesome job
Thank you!

Looks a great space :-) look forward to following the journey.
Great work, Fred - good on you for going for it and the bigger space!
Many thanks!
Good luck! I look forward to more videos!
More to come!
That’s a fair old unit size for bricklink! All the best with it 👍🏻
Thanks 👍

How much are you roughly paying for this space each month?

Congratulations Fred. Kallax pros 😂
I'll be dreaming/having nightmares of putting Kallax units together for the rest of this week!
Good luck!
