After building just 2 KALLAX units at home, I can only imagine the work you've put in so far, to this new space. It's looking great and look forward to seeing your next update
Also would be interested to see a price breakdown of how much this expansion cost you and how long you think/aim for it to take to recoup your investment. I understand maybe that’s too personal, but of course, I’m being nosey.
Yes - it will take a while to grow it though as the more stock I get, the more sales keep lowering my stock. At least I don't have to worry about space now which is nice.
Your local hardware store will likely sell door seals, that will close up the gap between the tables if you're wanting to avoid stick residue from taping them :)
A huge investment!. Thankfully I still have sufficient space to avoid those overhead unessarary costs each month. Interested to see how this pays off from hobby to the business adventure.
Congratulations Fred. The end is in sight. Well done for space efficient lay out. I know its janky but a potential quick and cheap solution for the gap between the tables ciuld be white duct tape. Excited aboyt seeing your lighting solution and your tidy home space. Great video Fred. We're all rooting for you
Thanks - I haven't looked into the fix for the gaps between the tables as so far it hasnt been an issue (yet)... my home space is far from Tidy but it's gradually improving. Will be interesting to see what it will be like in a few months time.
Hallo Fred, ik ben erg nieuwsgierig naar je nieuwe BW winkel en hoe het nu gaat. Tijd voor een update? 👍🏼 Mag gewoon in het Engels hoor! 😜 Groetjes van de overkant…. 🇳🇱
Looks great Fred. Definitely a lot of hard work to get it to the stage you are at now, but definitely worth it. If you need a DJ for your next rave, you know who to call - Shabba! 😂
Put black or silver duct tape round the top lip of the workbenches. It holds the top to the frame and you can join 2x benches together with it. I've used it for several years and it's still working well 😊
yes the trays are more time consuming vs the drawers but one Kallax unit hold 1k lots with the trays in them so it's a good way of increasing lot count. The Remarks are also different for the trays vs the drawers so I can easily split the picking as well.

Looking good, such a great space for a store. Once you fill that space you will be up there with the biggest stores for sure

Thanks for the suggestion - not keen on too much tape usage if I can avoid it
Looking very impressive
Thanks
Great thoughts and all the best for the reopening. We did a recent expansion over here in New Zealand too, but not quite at this scale :D
I find the trays too time consuming to pick from, do you still need them when you have so many drawers? Good luck with this huge investment!

It looks very good indeed, what make are the plastic trays as they look a good size.
Ziet er top uit!👍
Dank je wel.
