She is frigging gorgeous and her personality ROCKS! When she said when we have a lot of beer I was like AWESOME! LOL I don't drink but, ppl who like to camp & can have a beer end of day and chill, are usually pretty low key ppl I can enjoy.
I've seen a lot of videos of rigs that look awesome and that i would love to live in, but this one moves right to the top of the list! It screams adventure and excitement even when it is just parked!
That's probably me dream car, it has EVERYTHING I have ever thought of. Especially the triple lockers, the G-Wagen is the only other one that has them, but you don't see many camper conversions of that. Congrats & good luck going forward!
Fantastic design! Absolutely stunning. Everything but a toilet which is always nice to have - but not really necessary when boondocking and the shovel is handy… This is not an inexpensive build, but it’s gorgeous and practical, as are you two!
I know from experience how disconcerting it is to put all of your supposedly “precious” or “essential” stuff in storage only to discover a year or so later that not only is it not precious or essential, you just spent more money storing it than it is worth.
Love this! They didn't say where they keep the potty. I'm not an off road person but would love to have that pop top on a cargo van. Nice and low for travel then all the room you want when camped.
I am happy for you guys , have a safe trip , I am 56 , I think this kind of a trip will be one of my last wish. before death . I can not believe what a beauty that I will be missing . take care guts .
I really love the utilization of these type of layouts in terms of livable spaces. I love the rug and it's a very good fit. It's wonderful having a shower definitely! I think I would like a little bit more space to include a toilet but really the rest of it is quite nice. I been looking at box trucks, or ambulance conversions personally but there is a big appeal for trucks with camper conversion rigs that I really enjoy. I could go that route for sure. Something like using the bed of the truck to make myself a cabin tiny home would be awesome :D
Yes, a toilet is a MUST! Where do they go? Littering in nature all the time? Or burying their "depost"? What do they do just squat on the sand dunes? Eww! No, I would definitely need a toilet!!!!!! Cool truck though!!!
@@mariek8578 Right! I'm just not a fan of the shovel or bucket option, like no thank you xD a toilet is a must indeed! I'm with you there lol and yeah cool truck agreed!
I'm blown away that people genuinely pay to learn how to 4x4. This man is a genius! Us normies pay by abusing several vehicles before discovering that fine balance of risk over reward. Rip 86 XJ, RIP 79 CJ5.
I was looking at these at a show in Germany a few months ago. Lovely vehicles but some serious money for this size vehicle. There are definitely cheaper options. We went a different route but I really liked them.
@@andrewb5887 less than new! No, build quality is amazing and we've abused ours for more miles and more off-road than most already. We also stuck with the model Maltec has built and refined the most. Vin is fine because it's old enough to import unlike too new models.
@@SaltySunriseSailing just bought a similar kitted out troopy in australia for 25k USD but with low tier comfort compared to your high tier coil sprung J80 and probably a shitload higher mileage. Scheelmans are well regarded around here as well, is the weight approx 5850 lbs like they claim?
@@andrewb5887 Always gotta love a Troop. We had one briefly, but they are hard to find old enough to import (25 years old to legally import) still in okay shape. We love the extra space, coil susp, 1HDT and light weight of this truck. We weighed in at 6,292LBS with all our gear, spares, tools, clothing, 65 gallons of diesel and 20 gallons of water. So, it should be well within the 5's without all of the stuff we carry. Cheers, Tim
Great setup, great couple. Enjoy all your trips to come. Can i ask...how did you get the car registered in the US, as its clearly not OEM when it wa s built in 19990 ;-)
Olha eu realmente nao entendo como gastam tanto dinheiro em desenho interior ( moveis realmente espetaculares) mas nao fazem um banheiro. E olha que tem espaço pra isso. Mas, gosto é gosto.
What a lovely couple. So respectful of each other and down to earth. That's a very cool rig!

A beauty!! The inside is so functional...
Toyota is strong...
Tkx for showing your
Dusty.
Stay safe and enjoy
What a great overlander. One of the best for the size I have seen. Great powerplant and transmission choice.

So Many 'Features' i 'love' about your Very Capable 'Home' on Wheels!! Safe Travels! Cheers from Canada!
What a sweet rig man, had know idea at the begining that it was on a Toyota, great rig for all you need!
Woo Tim and Kesley!

Thanks for the great walkthrough of our home. Cheers! 🍻

Supreme bad ass rig for off road. I'm into overlanding. Love it. I'll go to your website to see how the vehicle was imported from Germany.

Man, on my 2007 CRV, The best I get is 23 MPG. Fun video!!
That rig is a work of art. Euro campers are light years better than the econo boxes we have in N. America for some reason
killer rig!

Epic Rig.
YES! Really like this rig!
I love your Camper.I enjoyed your video
Wow, what a rig - Dusty is my dream machine if/when we trade 2 wheels for 4... Lap of luxury compared to tent-camping off the moto!!
@@singamanah7003 Nude Snapgirls?? Do they live in a tiny home too??

A dream❤❤
I would love to make my 80 to that too
Badass ! 👍
Wowsers! Living the dream eh!! Was the German company moltec? Did they also fit all the inside as well as the carbon shell?
Matec is nice, I've a custom camper lc100 ;)
Do they have a location in the states where you can buy these from or did you imported from Germany
Some models Maltec imports (25 years old like ours) and some can't be imported. We found ours used and in need of some love to save money.
@@SaltySunriseSailing what was the cost 2nd hand? had any issues with maltecs build quality or registration due to VIN confusion?

Haha, “Garage”. Sweet
Your rig is awesome. I'm more of an onload fan. Someday I hope to get out of my sticks and bricks.
So, So COOL!!!
Great home. How did you get your RV registered here in the US? I am thinking of buying an RV from England.

Whats the length of the bed?
Whats the name of that camper? motech?

What about the toilet?
What wheels are those?

the company Germany you call them Moltecmix, but i cant find them, what is the right name?
German company is Maltec.
