I just bought my Air Fryer a month ago. Trying it out with different things. I love it. I didn't want to buy one years ago because I knew they would come down in price big time over the years and they did. I bought my on Amazon for 99 bucks and it's amazing. I know some say it's just a compact convection type oven but I also have that but it's not the same. The Air Fryer crisps things up that the convection can't do. And it's fast.
Love the recipe, thanks for the input, but one suggestion to add to your video. Your beans that you are using are most likely pre-washed but if someone buys them at the store, not prepackaged I'd suggest you advise them to wash the beans beforehand. A good washing washes off some things that people may not want to have cooked into their beans.
@@TheHollarBBQ This was sooooo FREAKN delicious!! I couldn't stop eating them! Thanks again for this great recipe. I also added some white onion to it and it put a little char on the onion..OMG!!!!
Not true fried taste but the outside has a crisp about it. Have you ever had grilled greed beans. Very similar. Got some nice blackened spots. Hope this helps.
Making these today. Do you know how long they will last? Want to preserve some. Bought a bag of green bean chips at a store. Knew I had to make home version as they were very expensive but oh so good!
Marjorie Medsker not really sure. My family eats these quickly. These are not the same as green bean chips. The chips have a lot more in them than just green beans. Thanks for watching.
I use spray all the time and it works just fine. I try and not use spray on my videos because I used spray in a video one time and people gave me a hard time. Thanks for checking it out.
Haven't tried green beans in my air fryer yet. Those look delicious. Not sure if I've asked you already, I'm in a Facebook group called UA-cam Cooks. Bunch of us UA-camrs in there, you should join. Thanks for sharing😃
@@lizardas it's also alot of salt, asking for high Blood pressure. All he needed for that amount of beans is a teaspoon or 2 max. Could be a tastebuds issue or he craves salt
You can try, not sure how they would come out though. I have never tried it. I just think fresh is better. If you do it let me know how it comes out. I would thaw them out first thought.
@@Unholydollie The heat would thaw them pretty quickly in the air fryer. There's no reason you couldn't use them frozen. Just adjust the timing if you have to. Whether you use fresh or frozen, you still have to find the right time and temperature for your particular air fryer anyway.
I found this video because I'm looking for tips on how to cook vegetables (besides french fries and onion rings) in the air fryer. I'm thankful for these videos because the air fryer advertisers don't even mention that healthier veggies can be done in air fryers.
@@TheHollarBBQ lol I imagine it tasted great, i loved seasoning a bit like that BUT raised blood pressure came from too much salt unfortunately so cut right back! Just take it easy 🤗
I'm and not criticizing here as I am new to air frying. Doesn't adding oil defeat the purpose of air frying? You can cook on the stove with olive oil. I don't get it.
You can spritz olive oil on, or coconut oil. You don't need much. Not all oils are unhealthy. Coconut oil, for instance, it rich in Omega 3s, as is ghee.

Do these taste fried/ crispy or just cooked tender crisp without the outer crispiness?
Not true fried taste but the outside has a crisp about it. Have you ever had grilled greed beans. Very similar. Got some nice blackened spots. Hope this helps.
love this idea, going to try it tomorrow

Well thank you very much
do you bake them in Air fryer
Just normal fry setting.
i don't use oil much, could I use the pam spray to get stuff to stick

I totally understand and I am glad to know they work with pam or any of those sprays
Yo you mixed this on the floor?
Does anyone know if you can do frozen veggies?
darcy00 Yes. I did frozen broccoli the same way in mine.
fav snack!
Did you wash the green beans?
These ones are pre washed. But any others I do wash them.
Those really look delicious but there's one thing I would do and that is Dad a little bit of Parmesan cheese
Harriet Hobeck that sounds like it would be delicious. Let me know if you do it. Thanks for checking it out.
You welcome
Nice channel you got here. Found you through Mike at Everyday BBQ :)
Lasse's Food and Barbecue thanks a lot and thanks for checking it out.
Come on dude, easy on the garlic salt!
Nah, more bruh more.
Oh lighten up on him. Looks good
Most of that was stuck to the bowl. I say add more!!!!
That was alot of garlic salt for such a small.amount of beans, ☹ anyway I will definitely try this with less salt.
I was thinking that right after he started shaking it way way too much garlic salt

I will check it out Christy. Thanks for checking it out.
Thanks ! And looks like the tight amount of garlic salt to me.
Claudia H no problem thanks for watching.
That's a ton of salt
That's garlic salt, so a lot of it is dried garlic.
and oil

so much salt!!!
These tasted bomb.com ! ♥️♥️♥️😍😍

Air fried Garlic Salt 🧂
I never cooked vegetables on the air fryer
Once you try it you wont cook them any other way. Super good. Thanks for checking it out.

lol never thought the garlic salt was going to stop
Salty!😬
Specially since you're doing 2 pounds of green beans.
Hell of a lot of salt you added there
Maybe a little but its not all salt.

why do people use oil in air fryers and call it healthy?
paul drozd because it’s olive oil and it’s only a little and it’s not unhealthy like regular frying.
You can spritz olive oil on, or coconut oil. You don't need much. Not all oils are unhealthy. Coconut oil, for instance, it rich in Omega 3s, as is ghee.
paul drozd You still need some type of lubrication on the food so it won't be dry. It's still healthy because it's not deep fried!
@@ajsassy788 huh huh, you said lubrication
Olive oil is healthy, EXTRA Virgin olive oil is even HEALTHIER. Stay away from vegetable oils. Those are the bad oils.
was that your counter? made from tiles? LOL
Yeah well it’s what came with the house. You will be happy to know I no longer have that house. We have granite now.
That sure is a lot of SALT😢
You added WAY TOO MUCH Garlic Salt, then you bit into one and tossed it back in the fryer that’s nasty my dude.
CARSON RODKE if he’s the only person eating them, who cares?
You know heat kills germs right ? Lol Also it's his who cares
It's his food. It's not nasty to put the bitten one back. A lot of judgmental and stupid people in this comment section.
