Happy Friday! I wanted to share one of my favorite green bean recipes with you today - it's perfect for the holidays but also easy enough for a Tuesday night. Enjoy! XO Dani
Thank you so much for your help and advice, I really appreciate your job. I wish you happiness and peace under the sky of prosperity. All the best. Take care and have a good time
Just found this recipe. Looked at a blue million recipes but yours seems to be the best explained for those of us who are kitchen challenged. Thanks! I'll let you know how they turn out soon
Looks delicious! Deff gonna try this, especially blanching the green beans to have them ready to go. 😋 Such a versatile veg, and so healthy. Love your cookbook, btw. You've taught me so much about healthy eating. ❤
I love the idea. I Skip the blanching and go right to the sauteing. When I prepare green beans. I saute them with oil, mrs dash and lemon juice. They don't have a raw taste at all.
Great recipe, thank you! I've never used sliced almonds, but I will now. I fry about six slices of bacon cut into bite size pieces, then use the bacon grease to sauté sliced mushrooms, onion and garlic, then add the green beans & bacon bits. I think almonds would be a perfect addition. Thanks again!!
I cook the beans like you and then while hot I drizzle olive oil, red wine vinegar, 1 or 2 crushed garlic and a can of hot pinto or kidney beans as well as some finely chopped shallot. Now, after seeing yours, I shall be adding hazelnuts which I have plenty at all times. Try and let me know what you think. A Yugoslavian friend gave me this recipe Maria 🌷🇬🇧🌷
Hi 👋 Dani, This recipe looks delicious! 😋 I’m going to try it for Thanksgiving. Will you share more dishes to make for the holidays? 🦃🎄 ~Shirley from AZ
Yes...I Will be taking this Green bean recipe ..to the family's House on Thankgiving day !!! Yum🤗 Thank you Dani 😁 P.S Please share more dishes for the holidays❤️
Hey Dani. It is funny because cooking beans should be relatively easy however let me tell you, I have goofed up many times. For our Thanksgiving here in Canada which was in October, I made string beans from a recipe I grabbed on pinterest. I didn't enjoy it at all. I should have used your technique. I like the texture to have a little bite to them but mine came out mushy. Who needs pinterest when we have you!! I should have known better!. I am loving your cook book!!!! All the recipes are easy, manageable, affordable, healthy and of course, so so delicious!! I am really happy to have it as part of my cooking library. It is my go to book. Thanks for sharing Dani and have a beautiful day!! 🤗
Depends on the beans. Some are more tender than others depending on size and other factors. I pull one out after about three minutes and try it to see if it’s tender enough. I typically blanch mine for about five minutes. She mentions just running it under water but I think dropping them into ice water is very important.
Blanching beans a great idea; almonds with garlic and onion taste awesome, but I felt like I had to eat these two separate: almonds don't stick to spring beans at all Maybe addition of some flour or starch could help with that issue? Overall taste is really good so I'd love to incorporate this dish into my cooking, but need to find a way to bind all the ingredients together Anyone?
You can slow down videos on UA-cam if you are having trouble keeping up. Click on settings, from those options click on Playback Speed, and there you will see options for slower or faster. Also, you can pause the video, fast forward, or rewind… and every single time you have the option of clicking OUT of a video… or be mean, whatever. You have a lot of choices though.

Made this recipe for Thanksgiving and everyone raved about it. Making it again for Christmas dinner. Yum! Thanks Dani!
I love green beans! And this recipe is easily scaled down for one person. I tend to blanch the beans, cool down and freeze in portions.

Yum!! I like them off the vine. I was always taught to cut both ends off.
That works too but you don't really HAVE to cut the bottoms :)

I freeze my green beans can I thaw them and prepare them in the same way as in this video?
Yes! That would work!
Confusing: video says blanch 3-5 minutes, but "printed" recipe link says 2-3 minutes!?! So which is it??

How much green beans? 🤷♀️
❤
Hey I'm the 1st viewer today......🎉❤
Thanks for watching!
The dish sounds good, but I like my green beans way done more than the crunch. you can go there raw.
There's something magical about your food. I appreciate your efforts; I was wondering if you could share a video of you cooking with KHAL viewers
How does every single one of your videos have 6.9k likes? Lol
We are at 978 now :)
@@CleanandDeliciousDaniwow I guess my app glitched. I was binging your videos and all of them had 6.9k likes
Nonstick skillets are so toxic. Microscopic scratch is all it takes.
there is no need to slice onions horizontally, have you never checked one carefully - nature has done this for you :smh:
What went in with this demo? You were talking so fast as if your mouth were running in a marathon. I had to turn you off.
