Uncle had a bee back in the day, last time he drove it the mighty 6pack went wide open/throttle linkage stuck,150m.p.h.later ,Wich doesn't take long in one of these,he shut it down, long story short, no one died ,car made it home and was never drove again.he used to say was fastest car he has ever been in,but didn't steer or stop worth a shit! imagine all that go with bias tires and drum brakes!
I had a '69 GTX and a '69 Super Bee back in the '80s, and they were great cars, but I could never understand why Chrysler would put such powerful engines in their musclecars and then give them such lousy brakes!
That is a beautiful car. But you don't need a muscle car to do that. I used to do burnouts like that in a 1964 Nova with a 283. The bake system was modified so that the rear brakes could be disabled with a the flip of a switch, allowing only the front brakes to work. I had a tank of soapy water in the trunk, and a nozzle installed in the top of each rear fender, right above the tire. I could just flip switch, and a windshield washer pump sprayed soapy water down on the top of the tires. All I had to do was step on the brake, flip two switches, and floor it. Super impressive burnout with vey little power.
Yes all u have to do now to have your own SUPER BEE is to buy a stripe kit and some emblems and u too can change that pile of crap rice burner or any other shit box laying around on your property. Just slap those babes on and your good to go.
Now that's just Plum Crazy !
It sure is! 😉👍
Sweet Super Bee!Wish there were more videos of classic mopars racing though.

Is it actually a Coronet (or Coronet 500 model), as I never seen a '69 Bee with the lower side moldings like that.
Super Bees didn't have the triple tailights either, just 500's and R/T's.
i know i own a 69 bee...still hopefully, i can manage to keep it :)
They gotta be after market add ons. Nice. Never seen them before and Ive looked at loads. Mines coming over in a couple of months :-)
you sure some of the standard coronet's didn't come with them?
My 69 500 has the triple tails but not the side moulding.
SWEET
That's not a super bee it's a Coronet 500.Side trim and tail panel says it all.
Hello, could I repost this clip with credits to you? I run a super bee account where I post clips of these awesome cars!
Makes me want an hell cat more no scat go hell cat
that's what I'm talking about.
Awesomeness!:)

Everything was good until you used the line lock. There's enough power where you don't need it.

One, two three, its not a super, either an R/T or Coronet 440. The three (3) rear tails lights are the give away.
mopar or no car

Take the reckless driving to the DRAG STRIP, not a public area, with stupid people standing nearby!
