- Thanks for watching my afro hair transplant journey, this is an update of my month 7 post procedure at the Cosmedica Hair Clinic in Istanbul Turkey where I had 2,700 grafts transplanted from the back of my head to my hairline.
Absolute legend! Because of you I now have an appointment booked in a few months time! God bless you
Now in month 3, hair is really starting to come through now. This is where we all aspire to be.
yeah month 3 is where I started to see results coming through, in the next few months you'll see a lot of growth
@@NomadAndreiquestion when they get hair from the back do you lose density in the back like the follicles they take it from in the back does it grow back?
Your hair looks impeccable, I would never guess that you had a hair transplant done.
I got my first ever hair transplant today. They lowered my hairline and rebuild the temporal areas. I'm hopeful.
Keep up the great work brother.

Update?
update??
So far the best result, Man. keep us updated.
Listen bro because you have great results so fast don’t think you not going to get any progress. Trust me you barely reached half of the time frame. You still have a lot of months to improve, when I think about it if you got this kid of results in just 7 months your hair is going to me more than perfect when you reach 16-18 months mark.
yeah I hope so man, we'll see over the next few months anyway
Great informative video, I’m a day shy from 2 weeks post procedure and I’m glad I went through with it
Your hairline looks great, is your profile pic after the procedure?
@@idkhow6772 no thats an old picture before i started thinning
Your definitely on gravy time…great video lots of useful information 👊🏿
Dre! Great results bro. Congratulations!
Really good info bro. Much love and your results look great.
I've heard some negative things about Cosmedica but this is looking really good bro
I think some people will have some negative things to say about most clinics in Turkey but personally I had a great experience there I felt really looked after and the results met my expectations quite quickly
Such a shame I’m at 7 months, went to Cosmedica too.
But sadly really unhappy with my result so far, my temples were done poorly and my donor area was overharvested.
-I’m glad your result is good, just please be careful when going to this clinic.
Your HT is perfect!
Thank you for sharing your journey.
Thanks man, I appreciate you.
First I want to say CONGRATULATIONS on your results, I’m very happy for you 👍🏾. Because of your video I’m now going to them as well.
Do you remember the crew that did yours? We’re you on Fin to stabilize the hair loss before the transplant? I would love similar results to my hairline!
Hi, thank you, I don't remember the name of the woman who did it but she was a senior nurse who has experience in doing afro hair, you can contact them and ask them the name of the nurse that did Andrei Rose's hair on October 15th 2021 they should be able to look it up and tell you. But I was just about to put a video together of the importance of getting the same technician/nurse/doctor etc who has done other successful transplants of other guys on youtube because otherwise you might go to the same clinic and get a different technician who might not be as good or experienced and get a worse result
Spot on. I say make the video. You’d be saving a lot of uneducated people from a disaster. All of those details matter greatly. I’m seeing too many mixed reviews from people that went to the same clinic.
Great informative video.
Happy for you I’m on day 8 from turkey. I plan not to take finesteride I’m 38 and was Norwood 2 with crown going. Had 4000 graphs
I'm on 6 months and my progress is similar to yours. You basically said everything that needs to be said here.
Are u on finasteride and how old are you please
Hey bro where did you get yours done??
Real informative g im going turkey i a few weeks
cool, good luck with it man
Did you get a hair transplant? Any updates?
@@danieldeniro4780 yh bro had it done , im a week in.
All good so far , process was real good no real problems bar.
My donor area is starting to crust off.
Only issue I had was at the airport they took all my lotions n shampoos given to me so I had to find alternatives back home.
I did hair transplant 6 month ago in turkey For some reason I didn’t see any new hair growing yet
Yeah its strange you should have started to see some new growth coming it at around month 3 or 4. You should contact your clinic to find out what they have to say about it.
Yo my bro. How much prp sessions. Did you do? I’ve just had a HT I had some prp done the day of the surgery. Only thing is I don’t like being jabbed in my head with needles. Do you think prp is essential for the hair recovery?
I had 2 prp sessions altogether, one on the day of the surgery and another one at month 1. I dont think its essential so you dont have to get another one, I just did it because I was staying in Turkey for 3 months and its cheap so I might as well. I'd recommend minoxidil instead if you dont like needles.
@@NomadAndrei thank u loads mate.
Hey bro did you put any oils on your recipient hairs while they were growing?
no oils, I just used minoxidil on my recipient area
Did they use the finer nape hairs for your sides or just normal grafts?
no, those types of nape hairs are not as DHT resistant so they are at a higher risk of thinning and eventually dying so they used only the hairs in the DHD resistant zone
What clinic did you go to ? My hair texture is like yours
That Andrew Townsend comeback
lool!
Bro I'm day 8 post opp the scabs are so hard and dry when do u think I can start taking off the scabs just looking in the mirror makes. Me. Shiver
lol yeh man you should start taking them off now, I took mine off at day 7, you can watch my 'day 7 update' video to see how I did it.
Great result that mate really good
Bro what clinic and doctor you went to ?
What do you mean by your “edges” you mean the temple??
yeh the temples
@@NomadAndrei oh ok. I just got my transplant yesterday, good process but kind of annoying when they were extracting my hair
But can you buy finasteride without a prescription? Then I would buy it from the clinic rather.
it depends where you're from, in the UK and US for example you can get it without a prescription for much cheaper than in the clinics
Are u using finasteride topically or orally
just oral finasteride, 3 times per week
Is it possible to just get the edges done?
yeah I dont see why not
Month 7 bro whatttt your hair is short for month 7 im on month 7 rn and my hair stretch to my eye brows dang
i had multiple hair cuts before this
Hello I had a transplant. My hair is 2 a/B mixed race but more on the cacausian side. I had 3500 graphs done. I am using saw palmetto instead of finesteride. Finesteride causes too many sexual side effects that’s why I stopped using it. What are your thoughts about saw palmetto. ?
there havent been many studies on saw palmetto but they've seen some promising results for slowing down hair loss and apparently the native americans used to use it in the food and medicine for a long time and you dont often see a native american without hair so it might work haha. I use a shampoo with saw palmetto in it as well as finasteride. You should also look into the inversion method to stimulate blood flow to your scalp, you can youtube it.
@@NomadAndrei ok… thank you . I don’t see hair transplants for mixed race men. My clinic sent me 2 clients with my type 2 hair but I would like to see more examples.
Why are you not taking finasteride daily and did you stop using minoxidil too? Thanks
Because I don't need to use it daily, from studies that were published the efficacy wasn't very different from test groups that took daily finasteride and every other day. And my hair loss was due to traction alopecia from when I had braids, after I cut my hair at 20 I didnt experience any further hair loss over the next 15 years. And this is why I don't need to take minoxidil. Minoxidil is good for people who have lost hair in the crown and mid scalp and want to regrow some of it back.
@@NomadAndrei thank you, do you have any advice for hair thinning out both crown n temple ? With how to use either or both medications . Thanks
@@1993tope yeah man get on finasteride either one 1mg tablet per day or one every other day and apply minoxidil foam to your crown and temples twice per day. The finasteride will be to stop further hair loss and the minoxidil will be to try to regrow the hair that thinned out. In the first few months you'll go through a shedding phase then after around 3 months is when you should start seeing some results
@@NomadAndrei thanks bro, should I go for 5% minoxidil or 10%?
@@NomadAndrei also I notice most guys after hair transplant keeps their hair longer like rocks a high top. Is it because brushing to get waves will cause more damage? I currently have waves.
Hi, what month did you start to use Minoxidil?
I used it from month 1 to month 5 on my recipient area
@@NomadAndrei thank you bro
And isnt hair transplant permanent? I mean when u talk about going for more and u only have certain number of hair
the transplanted hairs are permanent but you can still continue to lose the rest of the hair that was on top of your head if you dont get on medication
@@NomadAndrei got it
did you make it cosmedicaclinic
yeah
your result is good keep going bro
Where the before?
in my first few videos
You on meds mate?
yeah finasteride
What is your dose of finasteride?
1mg tablet 3 times per week
