    Hi Andrei, I’m going to Cosmedica too in about 2 weeks. I did a ton of research and really hope I made the right choice. Was quoted a max of 3,000 grafts.
    You are right, the technician can make or break your results. I have similar hair with you. Wish me luck!

    0:28 The main reason could be cost, but the airplane is quite expensive. The main reason is that they were the first who started this and with 20years before other nations. So I tend to trust more the Turkish doctors on this subject.
    And the donor area hair will not be affected by male pattern baldness. The genetic of this hair is different than the one that's on top. And the rest of the natural remaining head will continue up with the aldness pattern

    Thanks for the update bro, haha I had already asked Cosmedica for your techs n they told me “we cannot request specific nurses or technicians. • @NomadAndrei

      thats a shame man, if you can choose a doctor you should be able to choose a nurse or technicians. You should at least be able to ask about the experience of your assigned nurse and get them to show you photos of work she has done on other people. The shortest I cut it was a bit shorter than it is in this video and thats the shortest I'd go, I had it at this length or longer for over 10 years until I had to cut it for the transplant last year and couldn't wait to grow it back.

    • @NomadAndrei

      Yeah of course, but thats not always the case because everyone has different hair density in the donor area. Thanks for the advice this greatly appreciated, what I did want to know is if you were to cut your hair to say a level 1 would it be apparent to spot the native hair from the transplanted hair at the front portion of the transplant. I ask because on IG I saw the UA-camr chuckz went to Mecca and cut his hair super low like a 1 or even 0.5 and it was very apparent. That said I think he might have been a Norwood 4-5. I’m guessing the less the Norwood rating and less the graft the number the less the chance of spotting this? Any advice or take on it please would help thanks

    • @NomadAndrei
      @NomadAndrei  7 місяців тому +1

      You would notice that the density is lower (less grafts per square inch) compared to the native hair. Thats to be expected because you cant get the same high density as your native hair from 1 hair transplant thats why you see a lot of people going back for a second procedure to add density, or some people get SMP to add the look of density

    • @creativcluster
      @creativcluster 7 місяців тому

      @@NomadAndrei thanks for coming back to me I see, but what is your take on the Norwood scale with respect to density does that not play a part in the overall look regardless of a 2nd transplant. Also I would have thought that a say a 4C hair type from the donar area would be thick? If you look at Jamie foxx he does wear his hair around 1-1.5 and it’s not that noticeable

    • @NomadAndrei
      @NomadAndrei  7 місяців тому

      @@creativcluster Jamie Foxx has a lot going on with his 'hair' its not all real, he uses a lot of fibres and black spray thats why it looks so good. With very curly afro hair its harder to transplant because the hair curls underneath the skin so during the extraction a lot of the hairs get damaged and don't survive the transplantation. Also everyones hair follicle thickness is different regardless if you are 4c or 2a

    • @creativcluster
      @creativcluster 7 місяців тому

      @@NomadAndrei thanks for coming back to me, I see. I guess it’s one of things of research research and more research then if a person is satisfied with the clinic then go for it and see what happens. I did not know what about Jamie Foxx interesting. Have a great day and thanks again!

    • @NomadAndrei
      @NomadAndrei  7 місяців тому +1

      @bugtest9401 Рік тому

      @@NomadAndrei Also, do you find that you have to maintain your hair at a certain length for the transplanted area at your hairline to look good? I've heard that transplants can look way less dense than your original hair with haircuts that are longer or shorter than a certain length. I'm not sure if that applies as much to black folks, though.

    • @NomadAndrei
      @NomadAndrei  Рік тому +1

      @@bugtest9401 yes thats true because a hair transplant will not be as dense as your natural hair was so if i was to cut my hair really short you'd be able to see that its less dense and it would not look as good. Thats why you see a lot of people going back for 2nd procedures to add more density. I personally dont like cutting my hair too short so as long as it looks good at this length I wont be going back for a 2nd procedure.

    • @bugtest9401
      @bugtest9401 Рік тому

      @@NomadAndrei Ahh ok-- so super short isn't an option lol. I was thinking that super short was the best way to look normal post-op while it's growing in. It would probably look even worse when cut short at that point.
