I would like to know where the best place is to me a.nice in dash screen that I can get back up camera installed along with navigation, CD ,etc. For my 2014 ford f150 xlt. With an idea on price.
Kind of off topic but how did you go about bypassing the factory Sony junk? I’m waiting for my Phoenix unit to arrive but I already have door speakers, sub, and amps to go in just trying to figure the best way to get my signals to my line converter

Sorry for the lag! Unit still works as it did on day one! I have made some small tweaks and have learned a ton about the unit so I’ll try and make another video soon :)

Has a great 8" nav stereo, but is there a good unit I can get for it that'll be like and work with OE...?? Ant tweaks I can make on the current nave system...?? I bet you'd know something..... So you had Sync 1 in your truck, did you retain the Sync or did you bypass the Sync module? I think the Sync module died in my Expedition and the dealer wants a stupid amount of money to replace it, if I can use something like this and not even use the sync module I think I'd be in good shape.

Does your vehicle have the full console, where the vent trim pieces run into the trim that runs along the console. I have seen some installers that just peel those away to get the top screws out, I'm kind of a chicken shit, but, I don't want to take it all apart either. Thanks
if you take it to a professional spot, they should be able to install this flawlessly without damaging a thing. it's all using the same mounting points.
you'd have to check fit for the unit on their site, but all my steering controls work perfectly after the install. Losing stuff was not an option for me.

You're the first person I've seen that has this. I was just about to go to bed and tried this video before I threw my laptop at the fucking wall lol. Stupid question why don't you just buy an SSD 1t replace that spending hard drive. That would speed everything up and then if you're going down a bumpy Hill it won't break the SSD like a hard drive would
I think it was almost 2 months. Customer service is atrocious with Phoenix unfortunately as well so it’s just a waiting game with little info until it actually ships.
If you have backup sensors in your rear bumper & put it in reverse it beeps the closer you get to an obstacle. The stereo automatically mutes so you can hear the beeps. You can disable the park assist sensors (If equipped) Otherwise just hitting the volume up/dn usually bypasses the default. (For me, anyway)
installation? there are some. there are also tons of horror stories from folks that rolled the dice and installed on their own. Paying the extra dough for professionals to put it in was way worth it to me. Ive had none of the issues I constantly read about.
that sucks man! Ive read about some folks that have also had some terrible luck with these and Im thankful mine seems to have been assembled correctly as its still kicking since install.

I have the blue trim interior in my Raptor so I know that the answer is no but would it come with a blue border

hey man, the install doesnt mess with Sync. You can switch over to the OG Ford software at any time.

front camera works fine although I almost never use it.

I bought firmware from a guy that adds tons of features and gives you an option to turn that setting off. I hated it as well.

I've heard these units are very sensitive to heat. Just like Android phones, these Android tablets wont power on on extremely hot days (99+).
Get's super warm here in the summers and I havent noticed anything weird with mine. Im also really good with the sunshade.
