I'll be sharing with you my first impression using new products, going from straight to curly and styling my natural hair in this video.

    I thought my curls in the front were “looser” as well. Now my new growth is growing in extremely thick then I have looser curls towards the end. Turns out it is heat damage. But I’m not cutting it cause it’s still curly and not straight.

    If your scalp is ever irritated uncontrollably, use AtOneWithNature shampoo and conditioner. Make sure it’s the one for dry, itchy scalp. TGel didn’t work for me. I have eczema in my scalp that made my hair fall out in chunks. The AtOne works soooo good

    I have the same scalp problems, I too need to go to a dermatologist, but I'm 90% sure I have seborrheic dermatitis. Used to use T-Gel and I think it's another called T-Sal all the time, it's pretty good at controlling the flaking, however it's was so drying to my actual hair. Hope the T-Gel works out for you🙂

    My scalp was crazy . The flakes was crazy . I decided to go to a dermatologist. He diagnosed me with seborrheic dermatitis. He prescribed me a medicated shampoo and a topical solution to apply to the irritated spots. Going to the dermatologist was the best thing I could have done. After trying many OTC medicated shampoos it just wasn’t doing the job and I was tired of scratching and digging .

    • @LeoLadii69

      Ketoconazole shampoo (medicated) and he also prescribed me a solution to spot treat called clobetasol. I wash my hair with the medicated shampoo and I let it sit on my scalp for 5-7 min then before I blow dry I place the solution on my scalp.

    • @LeoLadii69
      @LeoLadii69 4 роки тому

      Areej Chowdhury a dermatologist will diagnose you and give you the proper treatment. So far Ive seen that most Dermatologist prescribe the same medicated shampoo.

    • @LeoLadii69
      @LeoLadii69 4 роки тому +1

      Areej Chowdhury You can try it . I used the t-gel and the itch and flake relief was only temporary. Thats why I decided to visit a dermatologist to get some professional help because the over the counter medicated shampoos weren’t doing enough for me.

    Hey Destiny! I hate to tell you but I do have something to suggest to you but please hear me out because your vids help me so I want to try and help you as I truly believe we deal with the same thing. I dealt with the same thing ALL my life, well it started when i was little, but not sure what age. I used and tried all the same products that you have and it would clear my scalp but it would always come back. As i got older it got to the point that it moved from my scalp to my hair line, to even sad to say my face AND beard. It was horrible. So bad I honestly thought I was dieing. When it was in its earlier stages it looked like yours. Same flakes, and look as far as the actual scalp. I was back and forth to the Dr. Finally after demanding that my PCP address it, she prescribed me a simple shampoo called ketoconazole shampoo. LITERALLY something I had dealt with struggled with my whole life was gone from my scalp, skin and beard within 1 week. I wont try and diagnose anybody but your situation looked exactly like mine and since I found something, that truly resolved it for me why wouldn't i pass it on to you. This ain't no, "I saw somewhere.." or "my friend told me" or " I saw on google" this is my real life experience. At its worst j would wake up with dime even quarter sized patches/flakes, that would lift up, and still have that tell tell kind of pinkish area underneath where I just knew everytime it would come back. Never got a true diagnosis but the Dr and derm, told me it had to do with sebum production, then fungus that comes from the over abundance of the sebum mixing with sweat. Please at least ask your Dr. Its very gentle, really has know smell, and doesn't burn or sting at all and if you have to because the areas have spread its gentle enough to use on your skin. I hope this helps🤞🏾💙

      @jboepro1 5 років тому

      Oh and it needs to be prescribed. Some OTC products do have the active ingredient, but dont have enough or have other ingredients that cause more problems. I think I paid like $3 at CVS and the little bottles last at least a month or 2.

    • @jboepro1
      @jboepro1 5 років тому

      @@gcreeves1s yeh, I am just giving my advice or experience but I'm sure she will figure it out. Shes extremely intelligent and resourceful and also a biology major if my memory serves me right so she probably has a medical insight to it that I didnt. I wouldn't say I'm concerned just wanting to help cause it really does suck when you're always having to worry about it and if it is the same thing that I was dealing with I would hate for it to spread or get worse like mine did. Praise God though its over🙌🏾 I literally couldnt leave the house. Lost jobs and friends over it, though they weren't real friends anyway obviously. But God saw fit for a different outcome!! Amen!!!
