I wash my hair in my kitchen sink as well. I also didn't know cleaning products exist until i opened the cabinet under the sink. 😮When i saw them, i was done!!! 😳 Hair came out very nice. 💜💙🖤

Lately, I’ve been into wigs, braids and sew-ins cause I’m trying to grow my hair out and stop putting so much heat on my hair and I love it.. I also use jamaican castor oil and also wash my hair every 2 weeks with my wigs or 4 weeks with my sew ins and braids... I’ve found that to do my hair best.. Everybody hair journey is different and should be respected... I’m also a relaxed girl! OKURRRR🙌🏾

I prefer flat twists as well! I also like to stretch w/ a hair dryer if I feel the need. I highly suggest trying twisting butters (I live Shea Moisture's Curl Stretch Pudding for mine). I also found it turned out better on mostly dry stretched hair. Keep at it, you'll be a twist out queen soon enough! You'll be able to set that crown next to your flexi rod one. XD

You’ve got wash’n’go girls and you’ve got twist out girls. I’VE ALWAYS BEEN A TWIST OUT KINDA GIRL! Flat twist, two strands, three strands. They just do (well, did. I recently started my second set of locs) my fro so right 🥰. I can tend to my scalp easier, I feel like I’m layering my product better, and I feel like I get the most consistent results. AND!!! 😂😂 if for whatever reason it doesn’t turn it right, they always make for an amazing puff. You did a great job! All I would add are small perm rods or “hanging bantu knots” for the ends of the twists. Gives it that extra lil ooh lala.

Twist outs helped me make my hair learn to curl and is safer than braid outs lol my edges thank me. Your twist out came out so pretty, it’ll take sometime to get use to but nice job.

I’m sure ppl give you advice all the time so here’s one more..... ask your doctor but using an actual aloe plant (the inside goodness) rubbed on your scalp can definitely aid in your scalp situation. Check out all the natural benefits no need to add anything else just try it as a prepoo but talk with your doctor too for more confirmation but my last 2 daughters im home safe some serious scalp issues and I stopped buying store products and started making my own shampoos, conditioners and butter creams and this has worked for my family for the past 10 years (everyone is different) but it’s sooooooo helpful along with your prescription shampoo. Great videos though 👍🏽👍🏽

Flat twisting is one of my favorites. Using a spray bottle with water and spraying each section will give more curl definition and a different look to the flat twists when they dry. Congrats on your recognition, the work done behind the scenes will always be rewarded!
