PT 2 Stomach Cancer Awareness Month. Taking it to the streets & talking w/strangers. WIN MONEY $$$!

We went to the streets to spread awareness about stomach cancer. We wanted to know, "How much do people really know about this deadly cancer?!" It was shocking to see the outcome from our day. More awareness is needed. For the month of November, stomach cancer awareness month, we will continue to take it to the streets in our community. With more awareness there will be more funding and research, which will result in better treatment and cures.

Taylor and I became plant based for health reasons. We carry the genetic mutation, CDH1, that gives us up to a 70% chance of developing stomach cancer and up to a 52% chance of developing lobular breast cancer. It has been recommended to us to have a prophylactic gastrectomy and bilateral mastectomy. Polly has had both of these surgeries while Taylor is under surveillance. Eating a clean, organic, non-GMO diet, rich in phytonutrients and antioxidants, we feel, is the healthiest way to live.
