Hey mate, I lived on a Shanty boat on this stretch of river in 2011. Building a bigger boat and should be back on the water within a year. I used to moor at Waikerie on weekends for groceries and a trip to the pub then back to my anchoring spot not far from lock 2 .

I got there too early for their kitchen to open plus the wind was raging too much to spend too much time off the water.
