Finally some info about the snowplough with the outside edges. It always seemed to me more natural, but in every video I've seen on snowplough they were saying that snowplough should be done only on inside edges. Great tutorial Natan, thanks!

Hehehe like this. My favorite method of stopping. Would love to see more from you because your city looks like mountainous nightmare... just like mine and I would like to learn ways to deal with that.

Clear and concise. I play with this stopping technique even on gentle slopes. Thanks for sharing!

Excellent explanation of this very efficient and yet underestimated technique!

A couple of points to add to this:
-plows are not good for wet or slick surfaces as you will lose grip and very likely fall.
-plow with outside edges can be performed in a more compact stance (about shoulder width) taking up less space

Exactly , the plan is to post also a tutorial about stopping on wet .

@@natanlakonishok That would be great, Natan. May I remind you of this idea, since it seems it's been a while and the video is still not available, at least to my knowledge

Natan sorry but I don't see where you use the outside edge. I see always the inside edge and toes pointing to inside to slow speed.

Hi Nathan, so put pressure on the heel and push with outside edges? Just want to make sure I understood the technique.

Same here, look more like tilted to the inside.

You mention using the outside edges, but to me you are still on your inside edges.
