DK Summit has been the track I’ve wanted since the DLC started and I’m so glad they finally brought it back. Waluigi Stadium looks absolutely phenomenal as well. Can’t wait for this wave.

This has honestly been some of the most rewarding DLC I have ever purchased. Just like a little burst of happiness every couple months.

Yes yes and yes Singapore Speedway is getting added in Wave 4 along with Bangkok Rush and Amsterdam Drift from Mario Kart Tour.
I can't wait to play as Birdo now that Nintendo has confirmed that more characters will be returning in future waves and it releases next week which is great to see.
Only two more waves left I do hope we get Paratroopa as our next returning character in Wave 5.

I'm all for the inclusion of stages with halfpipe jumps. They're such a fun addition that I loved in Mario kart Wii.
They need to fix Wii Wario's Gold Mine.
I'm thinking only the one by the finish line because of the track height thing at the one before the cave transition is finnicky.
@@psidrako3pdk377 it doesn’t need to be fixed, and that won’t happen. Time trials exist, and they can’t just change the model, like adding antigravity or adding halfpipes.
@@Roxlecmc didnt they change the cars on coconut mall tho, surely that could invalidate time trial ghosts (obviously theres like a 6 year time period difference tho)
@@bup8671 that’s a SLIGHT model change that won’t really effect gameplay. Plus they didn’t change it in time trials. Completely changing the gameplay by adding halfpipes or antigravity won’t happen. If they didn’t change it in time trials, it would make a huge inconsistency that no one will like. Slightly changing an asset in the course to changing the course models isn’t equal.
@@Roxlecmc I get you're argument and it probably is a bad precedent to set but realistically no one would notice or care. The halfpipes on wario's gold mine are suboptimal so no one who cares about their times would have them invalidated anyways, and casual players wouldn't notice and don't play time trials anyways.

What honestly surprised me most is they’re finally using the base game grass texture on riverside park. I hope they’ll use it too on other tracks !

I’m really happy they keep improving the graphics each wave. I wish they’d go back and polish the previous tracks for consistency since they’re still a bit jarring, but making this extra effort at all is appreciated

@@captaindestruction9332 3DS Toad Circuit's grass and "sand" (read: flat yellow texture) is kind of glaringly bad if you compare to like, the base game Mario Circuit tracks and stuff, but that's the only one I feel is exceedingly bad
Extra effort? they're a multi-millionaire company whose access to games is expensive/hard plus they have a lot of games due by now 2023. I'm happy too but this is what we should expect of them, to keep updating their games.
It is still insane how much content this game has and there are still 16 more to be added. GCN Waluigi Stadium looks incredible. 🥰😍

@@bob171 you know what I would not mind at all if they do another set of 48 courses. I don't think it's going to happen as of now but man at that point I would love to see somebody set up an entire Grand Prix of every single course with the DLC. They would obviously have to keep track of the scores off screen but if we could get an all cups feature like they did in Double Dash that would be awesome
I've been anticipating the Singapore Speedway remix ever since the start of the BCP, and I'd be lying if I said it didn't deliver. One of the best Tour tracks for sure. Excited for Bangkok Rush as well, it probably has the coolest layout out of the Tour city tracks. Amsterdam Drift...is okay I guess. -Vancouver Velocity can't come soon enough...-
Wii DK Summit and GCN Waluigi Stadium look amazing, and their remixes sound awesome so far judging from their preview videos. They were some of my favorites back in MKWii as well. GBA Riverside Park also looks amazing, but I dunno if it's very exciting in terms of layout.

I will say though the DS track looks like wave 1 material that Bright neon green...other than that and the tour tracks some look actually very good
@WindowsLogic Productions Because there's nothing to fix on Wave 3, and while Wave 2 looks underwhelming compared to the next ones, it doesn't look like vomit, unlike Wave 1 (e.g. Wave 2 at least gave the grass extra detail)

I’m so happy that we’ve got birdo, as well as all of the different colors. Of all the characters, birdo, in all honesty, is all I need for this game. Birdo was missing for 9 years since the original Mario kart 8 on the Wii U. Wow. Im glad to have her back. Now all we need is Petey piranha. Then things will be great again.

The courses look more-and-more base-game-like the more waves that come out. It's great to see how much they've improved graphically.

I loved the wave 3 and new character Birdo added in as well as creativity with the levels like the Yoshis Island level. I hope that in wave 4 there are more karts and Kart parts. I also wish we could customize our kart decal like the Mario kart ds game. It showed pixel created art on the back of the kart. That would be awesome if that was brought back!

The Mario Kart 8 Deluxe - Booster Course Pass. Eight courses at a time will come down the track over six waves as paid DLC. That's 48 remastered courses, zooming in by the end of 2023! Birdo, who was introduced in "Mario Kart: Double Dash!!" returns! Characters from past Mario Kart games are on the way! Wave 4 launches March 9th on the Nintendo Switch. Race on these courses at no additional cost, with a paid Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership. Or, purchase the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe - Booster Course Pass DLC on its own.
They've been adding so many fan favourites, and some awesome curveballs from Tour. I really hope we see Dino Dino Jungle and Airship Fortress

DK Mountain from GCN is way better, also I think from Wii there's better tracks like Toad's Factory, Koopa Cape.

The courses look better and better as each wave comes out. Nintendo heard the response after wave 1, pulled their sleeves up, and made things look much better!
The selection of tracks here is great. We got some old courses returning which are great, a brand new Yoshi course, and three Tour tracks. I've never played Tour, so I look forward to seeing it appear in the Booster Course waves.

@@julien8548 maybe you need to update to a different version? This happened to me when wave 2 came out. And I updated the software and it worked. You just need to update your version.

In fact, I believe Airship Fortress should've been added already back in Wave 1 instead of Shroom Ridge. The Tour version of Airship Fortress actually looks like a hypothetical Mario Kart 8 remake, so even if it wasn't revamped it still would kind of fit (á la Choco Mountain), whereas Shroom Ridge doesn't look any different from the Tour version (it doesn't even look inferior, unlike most Wave 1 courses, mind you), it didn't deserve to make it to MK8 Deluxe that way (besides, its musical arrangement there messed up the whistles badly)

Honestly this and Wave 6 were the best waves by far
Pretty good stuff, both visually and in selection. DK Summit is a fan favorite and faithful while not looking too Tour-y, Riverside Park looks gorgeous and Yoshi's Island looks pretty neat.
Mario Circuit though... leaves something to be desired. I mean it's good they brought it to the present, but looks very tour-y.
Other than that, solid wave.
I forgot to talk about Waluigi Stadium. It looks even better than Waluigi Pinball tbh with the extra details put to make the player feel like they're actually on a dirt track. A wet one that that.
I do think Mario Circuit looks much better than waves 1-3.
Mario Circuit’s texture work is great imo. Looks close to base game
really want 3ds mario circuit. I also have the feeling that this will be the last mario kart and they'll just port everything to the next console. I have a feeling they will be making a nintendo kart game since super smash bros probably has ended as well.

The more I see these trailers for the new race courses for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, the more excited I get! I'm so happy Waluigi Stadium is a CONFIRMED TRACK. I've played on that track, along with Yoshi Circuit during my Double Dash days so I'm super hyped for Waluigi Stadiun's return for Deluxe! But what I'm most excited for are the new Tour Bangkok Rush and Tour Amsterdam Drift courses!

Can't wait to play Mario Circuit DS and see it in HD remastered.
I’d be cool if they added ITEM RAIN Mode from the Mario Kart Wii Hacks.
Another Mode they could release is “Frenzy Mode” where there are three slots like in Mario Kart Tour.
Finally I think it would be cool if some long lost Mario Kart Items Returned. Mega Mushroom, Pow, Lightning Cloud, tanokiee tail, etc.
They could release along with one of the future waves or as a free update.

It's just a pity that they took the tents off the track for Mario Kart Tour. That was the feature of the track, that the Shy Guys hang on the back of the driver.
@@scenesofalife I always imagined as a kid that when I read the description of Sunset Wilds on the Super Mario Wiki website, you would literally come too close to the Shy Guy tents and they would tag you in a fierce fight way and take your coins.🤭
I really hope they'll add more characters in the future passes. My most wanted ones are Pauline, Hammer Bro, Kammek, and the 4 Kongs (Diddy, Dixie, Funky, and Jr.). Honestly, they should've added a new character with each pass since the beginning.

Ok, it's been three days: this wave is really great. Playing Waluigi Stadium and DK Summit on 200cc is the most fun I've ever had playing this game, but Wave 3 is still my favorite
Did not expect Wave 4 to release this early so this was a great surprise. The tracks look fantastic

There's a pattern to follow, at least EVERY wave has to have two minimum Tour tracks, at least one GBA track, one Wii track and a new track (non city Tour tracks are considered Nitro in 8 Deluxe)

I also want Lakeside Park to return at some point but I'm glad Super Circuit tracks have been getting such a big glow up! It's my favourite one (next to 8 DX).
Its ironic how they're the best tracks we get in turns of revamps. I was hyped for Wii tracks but I want GBA more after Snow Land and Riverside Park.

I love that they added Birdo to the new Mario Kart DLC Wave because she is an iconic character from the Mario universe! I love her design and her personality, and I think she is a really fun and unique character to play as! I think she is a great addition to the Mario Kart roster, and I'm excited to play as her in the new DLC Wave!

They should definitely bring back paratroopa from Double Dash. It would be really easy to do and could work like how u select Toad/Shy Guy/Birdo colors and Link's skins. I'm really hoping for Petey Piranha to return.

Tracks like Sky High Sundae and Yoshi Island are new to both to 8DX and Tour, they’re not original tracks.
@@RumbleRyan Both games consider them Tour tracks in their internal files, which means they're first and foremost made for that game. It just so happens they also have to design them with MK8 in mind as well
