Which reminds me, the New Courses and Items trailer for Mario Kart 8 synced up well with Mario Kart Stadium to N64’s Rainbow Road. Oh. And for Wave 1’s Tokyo Blur, transitions to Shroom Ridge.

OH MY GOD THEY ACTUALLY DID IT! Wii Rainbow Road looks so good, and I have a ton of nostalgia for this track. Speaking as someone who grew up on Mario Kart Wii, Rainbow Road, Daisy Circuit, and DK Mountain is just great. I just have to say thanks to Nintendo. The Booster Course Pass is what brought Mario Kart 8 Deluxe back to life for me. I got so bored with playing the same tracks over and over again and this was before I had online. I also thought Mario Kart Wii was underrepresented in the game, because all we had were Moo Moo Meadows, Grumble Volcano, and Wario's Gold Mine. Now we have so much Wii and I could not be happier. Thank you Nintendo, this was the best time of my gaming life predicting waves and characters, and also watching other people's predictions. Thanks

Too many Tour maps! They should've brought back Toad's Factory instead...
If Toad's Factory were to come back, it'd have to be in the base game. Not enough time to work on assets and stitch together all that music, especially with live instruments.

Agreed! Hopefully a new CTGP comes out for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe so we have 48 standard courses, 48 booster pack courses, and another 48+48 CTGP tracks for our modded switches!

- A new Mario Kart installment (likely in the next Nintendo Console).
- And/or so on.
Something I want next game is to be able to make playlists of tracks, so you can have your own cups that you can select and have a list of tracks you chose ready to play

Well, this was a journey! Having all these DLC courses and extra content release over the last two years has been a blast and kept me coming back to MK8D more than ever!
Great to have twice the amount of content in the game now (at least in terms of new races).
I am truly going to miss the anticipation of each wave and all of the speculation and excitement which brewed in the community. This DLC truly brought everyone together. We will all miss you Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and look forward to the next installment in the Mario Kart series. ❤
from the first note i was already tearing up. nintendo putting the focus on wii rainbow road highlights just how special and nostalgic it is for a lot of people. what a ride, this is a great way to send off a fantastic pack of dlc

Im so happy wii rainbow road is coming back, definitely my favorite one of all time, mostly nostalgia, but nintendo took everything i love about this track, and expanding upon it. Thank you nintendo! As someone who also grew up with that game, I think it's alright personally. I feel they got a few of the main tracks that had to be there but stuff like daisy circuit? Bit of a miss in my opinion. Also Rosalinas Ice world!? That was one of my favourite tracks on 7 for absolutely no reason

What a way to end this Dlc, One year of fun memories and Rainbow Road looks spectacular and the suprise Rosalina's Ice World? Nostalgia. I rate this dlc as a whole a 1million/10, Thank you Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Team😊
Personally I would have liked to see Wario Colosseum over one of the Tour tracks, but that’s just me.

The pure happiness I felt upon hearing Wii’s rainbow road music was indescribable. So glad that this blast of a course made it into wave 6! Nintendo is really going all-out for these booster pass courses!

Honestly, I'm happy the DLC is all out. I'm tired of having the same Mario Kart game for 9 years, going on 10.

I love what Nintendo has done with the game and with the series as a whole. It is really cool and really good planning was put into it and best of all, FUNKY KONG IS BACK!
Words can not describe the joy I felt when I saw Mario Kart Wii's Rainbow Road and listened to its music, it was an absolutely incredible feeling. The rest of the tracks look awesome too! What a way to end the DLC.

I was really holding out hope for airship fortress, bowser castle gcn, and Wii rainbow road for the final cup. We only got one of those, but as far as the snes tracks go, what little we saw of bowsers castle looks surprisingly great.

Yeah, Dino Dino Jungle and Airship Fortress were the ones I was most hoping for. But they both have a probability advantage now (helps that they were in Tour). So statistically speaking, they’re more likely to make it into the next game.

Tomorrow the final wave of the dlc releases. It’s been a long journey. We and mario kart 8 have come a long way. It’s been almost a decade of mk8. I remember playing it on my dad’s Wii U back in the day when I was in 2nd grade. Now I’m in 10th grade and planning for college while still enjoying Mario kart 8. It’s been a journey and this game will forever hold a very special place in my heart. Thank you Mario kart 8!

There are 170 original tracks across the series… MK8 has 96… 74 tracks remain.
While I don’t think MK8 will add anymore DLC tracks (maybe DLC Costumes and Characters) I think the next Mario Kart game will add all the tracks in MK8… and then just finish off all the retros

48 tracks, 8 new characters and subtle but fun new features like custom items. Very impressed with how they handled this dlc since the pretty rough start on the 1st wave. Here's to hoping for an even more exciting racing on the Switch's successor

I'm a Christian. But going around telling people they need to repent is not going to convert people. It probably actually pushes them away.
A better option is to get to know people, either in real life or online. Then eventually ask them what they think happens after death. Convince that person with evidence that God probably exists. That would be a good time to point out that we are all sinners and our need for a savior.
My sister passed away recently, we used to play Mario Kart Wii toghetter all the time, she would always win, but it was still fun. Thank you Nintendo for bringing back these tracks, I will miss my sister.

This is really awesome and I also can't believe that Wave 6 of the Booster Course Pass has finally been released already too in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe since all six waves are finally available now!
I cannot describe how much joy this journey has brought me. I'm glad we got most of the fan favorites, characters and tracks. Not bad Booster Course Pass, not bad at all!!! 🎉
So it looks like Wii Rainbow Road reverted back to the bright rainbow like the original. In Tour, it was a lot darker. However, I did notice they made the tile patterns even instead of how it was made in Wii. If you take a look, you can see the 3DS Rainbow Road rocket on the Moon, which could imply that's the Moon from 3DS Rainbow Road.

i love that rainbow road wii actually did try to fit in with 8's style and rosalina's ice world is definitely a surprise even if it was an earlier tour track, also for the rainbow road remix i was kind of expecting electric guitar for it but ewi works too
Yeah I think that they wanted to not do electric guitars for Wii rainbow road because of the bowsers castle (if you don’t know, just search up BC3 Mario Kart 8 Deluxe)

This is sick that I got excited to finally see wave 6 tracks, but I did not expect Rosalina ice world instead of piranha plant pipeline.
I can”t believe they made my favorite tracks of all was wii rainbow road, GCN dk mountain, SNES bowsers castle 3, 3ds Rosalina ice world, and other tracks from wave 1 thru 5.
My only question is "are we going to be able to run a 96 course race?"
I love running through every track in random order and now that the tracks are doubled, I would love to run through everything.
24 hours of le mans would shadow in comparison to a 96 course race
Rather unfortunately, there was not a 96 course option added in the 3.0.0 update.

Wii Rainbow Road's music from the beginning made me almost tear up.
I remember when I was actively playing Mario Kart Wii, trying to master every shortcut and trying to beat everyone online.
What a fantastic game, it was sure different from the other games in the series, but in one of the best ways possible.

I can’t wait! I recently booted up this game again in ~September and I still love it! I have 400 hours in this game and I can’t believe that the 9 year journey is going to end.

Yeah, I grew up with Mario Kart Wii more than any other Mario Kart, granted I would've been alright if they stuck with just one Wii track per wave, but they are all good tracks nonetheless.

Rosalina's Ice World was a track I wanted in from the start of the dlc, my favorite from 7, so glad that it got in!!!

Nice finishing it off with Rainbow Road Wii. I used to be terrible at Mario Kart so I practiced a ton on this course on 150cc. This track is probably the most personal for me.

Thank you Nintendo for this outstanding game although of course it had its ups and downs but what a phenomenal game this was, 9 years since release, wow, just incredible, and as always ending off with absolute bangers. Mario kart 8, what a game. Here's to more years to come and eventually Mario kart 9!!!!

Yeah. Totally bummer. But considering what we did get(Yes Daisy Circuit and Rainbow Circuit, I'm looking at you), I don't think we're going to be disappointed. 😊
The wait for this entire dlc was worth it!! I’m happy we got plenty of characters and the new tracks right now are beautiful especially with Wii Rainbow road. Now it ends the chapter of Mk8 at last, and I hope for the future of the next Mario Kart game

I’m absolutely floored Rosalina’s Ice World made it! It’s a gorgeous and super underrated track, so I’m glad it got in over Piranha Plant Pipeline which I’m indifferent towards. Overall this is an excellent batch of courses to end off on! Can’t wait to play them!

You do know that Pipeline could be lost to history now, right? Tour isn't gonna be online forever, and when they game gets shut down, Pipeline is also gone. It deserved to be here.
It could always be added to a future Mario Kart game as a retro course!

Having DK Summit, Bowser's Castle 3 AND Rainbow Road the FINAL track is the best way to end the Booster Course Pass. These three courses are my favorites I'm so excited😁

I feel so happy to finally see this! I’ve just witnessed my childhood Rainbow Road get into MK8 Deluxe, and even better, as a closing track not only for the spiny cup, but for the whole BCP adventure itself. I must say, Nintendo really listened to us in at least making the quality of these tracks better by each wave. Well fellow fans, this journey is now going to be coming to an end, and it was so fun while the journey has lasted. See you all in Mario Kart 9!

The booster pass has gotten better with each iteration.
Truthfully, the first wave felt really out of place as if they were of a lower quality than the rest of the game.
But now? All of these look amazing! They're on par with the base game and look spectacular, it's clear the devs have listened to fan feedback and made some truly amazing stuff for everyone!!!!
I gotta say Bowser Castle 3 took me by surprise in that, after a whole booster course pass of not really doing anything with the antigrav mechanic for track design, it looks like they may actually be utilizing it this time, at least a little. I may be sad to see that airship fortress won't be coming to switch, but I'm glad they're bringing in bangers like Daisy Circuit, Wii Rainbow Road, and DK Mountain!
Surprising? Bowser Castle 3 first appeared in Mario Kart Tour back in May this year with the same design.
Daisy circuit is like the worse track in this wave and prolly bottom 10 for the whole BCP
@@harrybest2041 BRUH I knew it, litterally all the booster course tracks are the tour tracks upscales for the switch, which is why they are all so short and nbot as good looking, cause they were all designed for the mobile version.

Can I just say that the prefix leak was one of the best leaks ever? The fact that it didn't tell us everything, but it gave us just enough information to jumpstart predictions is so good. And the fact that new information got released every couple of weeks due to Tour made it so fun predicting the latter half of the Booster Course Pass. It made the whole thing seem logical and deduction-based rather than pure shots in the dark.
Also R.I.P Piranha Plant Pipeline, I guess.

My guess is that the prefix wasn’t fully completed when it got leak and Nintendo were still making final decisions between tracks.

I find it funny how this game started its Retro selection with a Wii track (Moo Moo Meadows) and is finishing it with Wii Rainbow Road.
Its come full circle.
Wow that was a blast finished playing the last wave and I'm happy with what I have true there are still a few patches and fixes I wished were put in but that's all in the past now
can't wait to go online and show my suit. can't wait to see Mario Kart crossroads in the future.

These eight are easily in my top 15. 😭 Anyways, overall they did a great job.

Im really glad tracks like Wii Rainbow Road and DK Mountain are coming back! They are awesome tracks. I wish Airship Fortress was also in the booster course pack but overall its been amazing.
Hopefully there is another shorter DLC to get the track count past 100 and to add more fan favourites like Luigi's Mansion, Toad Factory, Wuhu Loop and Airship Fortress.
I’d expect one last cup, maybe a secret unlockable that has Piranha Plant Pipeline in it and that’s why it ain’t in Wave 6. Just get the track count to 100

I’m probably gonna guess that they will either come in the next Mario Kart game as retros to y’know, have a good retro selection rather than just having only tracks that not many people cared about

Wii's Rainbow Road was the track I wanted the most out of the DLC and I'm so happy that this was the way we end it. I cried tears of joy playing this track again. What a perfect way to end it all.
