The Tower of Doom is basically a “Choose Your Own Adventure” book, and that’s what makes the DLC wave unique.
At the risk of sounding cliché, it's like a roguelike.
Or maybe I'm just seeing patterns where there aren't, and the "unlock higher prestiges" thing got me. Because that's a pretty roguelike thing to do in indie games.

Id argue its a good fortune Teller but a bad rabbid voice.. their voices should be more crazy, chaotic, shrill and not like a human.

This game honestly deserves more people playing it.
is a great game, but when the first came out it was like easy top 10 games on switch, nowadays, both struggle to make top 20 imo. Both are AMAZING games, but switch has so many hitters at this point, i understand newcomers dont giving the deserved attention to this one :(

This is what Mario+Rabbids is all about. The Story Mode was expected to be somewhat easy, but, this is meant to really challenge you!
Naw, the story mode in the first game was absolutely difficult, in the best way possible. This game (and yes I play on Demanding) is dirt easy the entire time
@@jaretco6423 kingdom battle is very difficult on the challenge levels. Getting a perfect score on later levels is quite difficult too. Some the levels in the DLC are brutal too. I never even lost a level in sparks of hope.
They aren’t rekey remotely the same difficulty.
I need to beat the game. I’m still at that Scrapyard place.
Absolutely adore the graphics and animations. It looks like animated movie. Music is also incredible! Will play :-)
Hopefully this is more challenging than the base game. I really like the changes they made to combat, but all that freedom made the game WAY too easy. Played on the hardest difficulty and it still felt too easy to steamroll everything.
Same for me. Sparks passives are TOO strong

Yeah, I feel like one of the basis for this DLC was to address that exact complaint people had with the game. They had to have known before hand this was the case, and I imagine they did it on purpose to bring in younger players (that was a complaint on the first one, too hard for younger players), then make this DLC with harder aspects and settings to appease those of us who want more of a challenge. Just a thought and I guess we will find out soon. Still love that game, even if it was way easier.

Loved my first playthrough of this game, can’t wait for another run with the dlc and the Tower of DOOOOM!! (And yes, everyone is respecting the fact that there are 4 o’s)

The base game was already pretty challenging especially near the end, but additional challenge? Sure why not?
Huh well I really enjoyed the main game,my only gripe is the fact it’s a season pass exclusive which to me is kinda cheap considering they are basically trying to give us more of a reason to buy the season pass, the dlc looks great but I’ll probably wait until the season pass goes on sale
I think that’s just how dlc is now. Out side of fighting games I never see dlc that’s not just a season pass
Waiting for a sale is the way to go for Ubisoft titles in general. They get cheap so quickly

Surprised this game flew under the radar.
So they made a Mario Rabbids rogeulike mode. Neat!
If I had a nickel for every time I got doomed by a puppet, I’d have two nickels, which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice.
This is going to be an interesting challenge to face, and taking on those BRUTAL giant foes again in different areas is going to be quite a trial too (just PLEASE not that accursed Giant Depleter, NEVER AGAIN). It would be nice if they mix it up with harder versions of the actual bosses on occasion as well, but that's probably too big an ask...

As much as I enjoyed my first playthrough of this DLC, it loses its lustre on subsequent playthroughs when my only reward is a new weapon skin.

@@BoomyShakes Ubisoft stated it did not meet sales expectations. Not sure what the number was. They were very happy with the sales of the first, but seems this one didn’t do nearly as well

There it is! My Switch gave me a notice that it had downloaded an update for Sparks of Hope and was waiting for a release date before it would activate. I was so curious what it was!

Yoshi and Rabbid Yoshi won't make an appearance at all since they were stated to be on vacation, Bowser Jr. will just be straight off not present, and they won't be adding secondary weapons since they already confirmed that each Hero will only have one weapon.

Im actually having trouble getting this dlc to work, I have the gold physical edition which gave me the season pass and everything but the dlc won’t work for me
