    I bought this net 2 years ago. Landed many fish with it. This past year landed a nice striper with it. One of the best pieces of gear I own. Thanks Chad for sharing.

    I used mine to net a stick up at Toledo Bend then locked it in my gear track as a soodoe anchoring system! It's a great net!!

    I have heard nothing but good things about that net. Also wanted to say awesome seminar yesterday at the Indianapolis boat, sport, and travel show. It was the last seminar before closing time. I was the guy seating right in front of you and the only one answering your question. Hope to make it back there to see your S.W.A.T. seminar on Saturday.

    Can you provide some options on where to store the YakAttack Leverage Landing Net on a Kayak and what leash options might be best?

    I 100% agree with a net for tournaments. Hate to say it but most footage I’ve seen kayakers using this net use it like a traditional handled net.

      It’s a rivet, I guess that you could drill it out and replace it, but I’m not sure why you would ever want to do that

    i just purchased one. I lose 40% of 17-18" and all above that size. (4 PBs in a row forced me into buying net). Not a skill level worthy of competition. So i threw money at the problem, price is as intimidating as size. (relative speaking now). Today i took it out but had no need for it but did practice deploying it. Forgot to test to see if it floats but it IS Yak Attack and im sure they thought of that. Its on the Yak so its stay'n with me. Soon as I downsized my leader to 6lb mono i began "catching" the bigger ones on this highly pressured lake. And began losing them at the rail. 99% of my fishing is solo so i count on you and Gene a LOT for info. I have no one fishing with me to tell me what i am doing right or wrong. Like landing them. Landing them might be a good video...I want to add seeing how this is a promotional video of sorts. I have attempted to by pass many of the more expensive yak accessories by fab'n them up my self or buying off brand units. Lost TOW and most likely cost more. Everything i have bought from Yak Attack has performed flawlessly. And seamlessly.

    I second everything Chad said about this product. I own one and for the price you pay, what you get in return ie. Dbl digit bass or potential tourney win. It will have paid for its self.

    Oh man... I just lost the biggest smallmouth I've ever seen today on Holston River here in Knoxville --- Why did I lose it? I didn't have a net. It CRUSHED a little 2 inch torpedo that I airbrushed to look like a cicada and I horsed it away from the logs. It pulled me into some overhang and just as I got it to where my NET could have closed the deal it shook the hook. Guess what is in my cart in 5 minutes. Thanks for the video.

    Not the fish of a lifetime but last outing I got a 5lb bass on a frog in the slop. Pulled me and my kayak into the thick of it while I was anchored..... I usually grab the line and toss them in the boat but there was so much lettuce coming with the fish it made him HEAVY. Couldn't lip it and ended up cutting my hand up on the braid because I wasn't about to not land the fish. It was worth it but ended up ordering one of these nets that night.

    You forgot to mention the price - about $100 out the door. Pretty steep, especially for a yak where you only have to lift the fish less than a foot to boat it. Kind of cool though, but really bulky.
    I use a regular net and would lay down the rod if I needed a second hand to lift the fish out, which I never have. I actually don't use the net to lift it most of the time, I just grab the fish from the net. Once the fish is in the net it isn't going anywhere even if I don't lift it all the way out of the water. And I can use that net to push away from rocks too, believe it or not.
    Would be cool to see a demonstration of this best net ever too :)

    • @ChadHooverFishing
      @ChadHooverFishing  4 роки тому

      Sounds like you have it all figured out. Thanks for commenting.
      It’s not expensive for the function and quality, it’s lot about how far you have to lift it, it’s about the fish not getting off at the side of the boat while you try to net it and this controlling the betting process better, especially in current, if you don’t lift the fish out of the water then there really isn’t a real need to net it so this net or any net probably isn’t a product for you.
