Parlee Bikes, have you owned or ridden one? What do you think of these Carbon Gravel Bikes? Check out the other "This Old Bike" hanging out with the guy. videos: ua-cam.com/video/TynI0tvDBi8/v-deo.html

Sad to report, Bob Parlee passed away a few weeks ago. A true cycling pioneer. RIP.

It was sad to see that. I hope they carry his legacy forward.

I have Chebacco, love it! Quick, light, stable. See a lot of them in New England, where Parlee's home is.

Amazing how your shop's lights reflect on the freshly ceramic coated bike frame

It was hard to capture the deep glitter that the spike had. It turned out amazing. Thanks for watching.

Great video, Justin! We're based out of Massachusetts. Ride quality is something we really strive for at Parlee. Our "Z" series of bicycles are still handmade in Beverly, MA. The Chebacco is one of our "production" bicycles, made overseas, but still rides up to par as Bob Parlee intended. GCN just did a video on our HQ, be sure to check it out!

Nice, thanks for the clarification. I have seen that one. It's a great overview of your operations. Maybe I'll get out that way and take a tour if you have me. Love the bike I had the pleasure to tuning up. It rides great, and the owner loves it! Sorry to hear of Bob's passing. I hope you and your team are doing well. I do have a used one out here that I have my eye on. If I get a chance to grab it, I'll make a video of that one, too. Thanks for reaching out.

I have a friend who owns one of their custom road bikes and have taken it for a few spins over the years. Really nice ride and made in my home state of Massachusetts.

Man, there's a lot of nice parts on that bike. Great job giving it a good massaging and freshening it up, Justin.

There sure was, and I also worked on his Moots Ti road bike. That video hopefully will drop next week. Thanks for watching!

I was curious once you remove the excess wax do you throw it out or that back into the heating pot?

You could if you wanted, but it doesn’t add to much. It would be the same as drip drying over the waxer. Great question. Thanks for watching.

That uneven bartape is bothering me.
