Sounds good. Good you got it solved. Can't wait for the stuff that you will put out. Listening to you music makes me question how you did some stuff. Always learning.
Hey man, so Im basically looking to stream the audio from an apollo twin usb, is there anyway to go straight from the uad console into obs? Or do i need to run it through a daw first? thanks for any help :)
OBS should be able to receive incoming audio from the apollo 1-2 input without the use of a DAW. All depends on how complex your needs are. I think OBS alone should have you covered in your specific instance.
@@prod.Upside Thats only true if the UA Console is able to route processed audio as a send to OBS, but I cant get an answer on whether this is possible. I mean, it makes perfect sense that using an apollo as an interface would get audio into obs, every interface can do that, but not every interface is able to process UAD plugins and then send that processed audio to obs, in fact, no interfaces that Im aware of are able to process audio with any kind of plugins and then send that audio to something like obs. Sure you can route the audio to your speakers or your headphones, but I dont understand how to get processed audio from the apollo console to a streaming encoder realtime, or if its even possible.
Hey can you explain the FL Studio ASIO driver? I have an Apollo twin Mk2 and use Ableton and have been working my ass off trying to figure out how to get my ASIO audio from Ableton to Streamslabs OBS
Hey Matt, I installed the FL studio 20 ASIO driver here: www.image-line.com/flstudio/ Even if you run the trial only, it'll install the FL20 asio driver you need for OBS to communicate with Ableton. DAW's otherwise disable windows/mac stock sounds from being utilized while a DAW is open, the ASIO driver is about the only solution other than a capture card I've found that is mostly functional. Let me know if you need more help mate!
Upside dude I can’t thank you enough man! It got a chance to try it and it works perfectly. I was like 2 days away from selling my Apollo twin and getting a baby face which I really didn’t wanna do. You saved me some serious money! Thank you so much!
hi i just install the fl studio for my windows ableton and it seems to work well from ableton to OBS. however, i found there is a huge latency as the FL studio ASIO buffering settings is limited to only 256. is there any other ways to cancel out the latency or reduce it to 128 ? thank you !
How did you get that Output option to show within Console? I see no such option. I have the Apollo Twin USB running on Windows 10. Also, I'm really confused by your TS to 1/8 cable setup. If I have an XLR microphone, such as the Blue Baby Bottle, how would I go about routing this? Right now I have an XLR to XLR cable running from the back of the Apollo (Mic1) to my Baby Bottle. Where would the TS to 1/8 cable come into play?
In UAD Console software, click on your output tab where it says 'monitor' then it will allow you to select another output. As far as the cable setup I have a patchbay. I am running all of my I/O from my apollo into the patchbay and then routing things from there. The patchbay is really not necessary, you can run the Dual 1/4th cable out of the apollo outputs and into your computers native soundcard 1/8th inch. Follow me? If not I can draw a diagram!
Is this your exact interface? If so you can use the 'line outs' and accomplish exactly what I did in this video! www.uaudio.com/audio-interfaces/apollo-twin-usb.html
@@prod.Upside Yes that is my exact interface... I can't even get past the first step of your reply lol.... Here's a screenshot of my Console: i.imgur.com/Gn5GaoX.png Where is the Output Tab?
@@prod.Upside I figured it out by using a combination of FL Studio ASIO, ASIO4ALL and OBS-ASIO. I am actually going to create a youtube tutorial on how to do this.

Hey there! ..are you still using this method? I am currently on the search for a screen/audio/recording solution, also UA thunderbolt here.. Greets.

Christian Bauer also the Apollo is awesome 👌🏼
