My personal feelings of Engineer is it's boring on defense, but fun on offense. Engineer on defense can be hectic and fun in a balanced match where you're constantly juggling repairing and building your buildings, but otherwise it's either a curb stomping snoozefest or your teammates aren't putting up any resistance and you can't setup defensive buildings. NGL TF2 is by far F2P game with micro transactions that actually done right. Not even OW or Fortnite can even compete. And you have a system to vote kick people from the server. Which not other games do that. Democracy at its finest.
Before playing on servers with other people, I’d recommend playing on these 2 things first which are “tutorial” and “developer commentary” with captions turned on in the options. You can also play the game exactly the same as how it was back in 2007 by playing it on this game bundle pack called “The Orange Box” for Xbox 360 since it never got updated for 16 years unlike the pc version. And you need to buy an Xbox live gold membership in order to play it if you don’t have one. And also, if you don’t have an Xbox 360, you can also play it backwards compatibly on any of the newer Xbox’s except the Xbox Series S. And be advised that it’s no longer possible to get the orange box digitally and nowadays you have to get the disk in order to play it.
By the way.... new community gamemodes will probably start to emmerge troughout the years. Last year, the last tf2 dev (known to mankind as: The Janitor, The contractor, the potted plant, and so on) as added a little thing we call Vscript. If you are familiar with CSGO or Left for Dead 2 custom gamemodes. Vscript. What it basically does is allow mappers and content creators to add theirs very own code into the maps themselves instead of just using a plugin. Plugins can do so much yet are very limited. While Vscript can by used to make custom weapons, maps, classes, npcs and even new gamemodes! VS Saxton Hale was originaly a plugin from 2010 who then saw multiples reworks and then remaded entirely via Vscript! To potentially add as an official gamemode in the game, if, as Saxton Hale puts it: IF VALVE DARES TO!
@@FierDragon thanks man. Vscript has been first added in left for dead, then a latter CSGO. For years we thought tf2 whould never have it. But..... After having enough of bots running wild and having to deel with Valve's bullcrap, the community started a mouvement called #savetf2, a peacefull protest who trended on Tweeter and even getting attention from game news channels. This forced Valve to come out of theirs Ivory tower and say something. Claiming to help us. Nobody believed them of course, yet they apparently hired a contractor who was a fan of the game, he gave us bug fixes and eventually a uptated version of Vscript the other games didn't had just yet. Ever since then, the promise of a summer update which can come out any second now with a potential yet still uncomfirmed new gamemode, a lot of maps. And dosens of community contributed fixes. As of yet. Very little is known about this update, all I want is that they just didn't take a few hats and called it a day....

hey FierDragon, there are 2 reasons you got votekicked, either the new votekicking mod to fight bots or the bots version of that where it forces a vote and then a yes vote. Its a very annoying macro system, but anything to vote kick bots immediately.
2:27 so what happen is that the bots learned to kick real players and once one joins kick it immediately or they will multiply and more bots in the server they real players scamming anoying songs and kicking each player one by one until it’s just bots and if you try to kick one the bots are coded to recunize other bots and vote no

It feels like exacy lmao
@@FierDragon I hope that you'll continue to have a good time with this game!
amazing video. also 6:06 you put "bain" of my existence instead of "bane" but minor nitpicks dont take away from the sheer quality of the video :)
Premiere Pro doesn't have spell check, if you stick around you'll notice I miss spell a word a video lmao xD
The thermal drill
Bro learned sfm just for one video, a true madlad, gotta respect that
sfm is unironically so much fun... until it crashes on me and I havent saved
@@FierDragon True that, it is pretty fun, and you know having to deal with all of it's problems that come with it being old is actually kinda fun cuz you have to get creative! Either way you got a subscribe from me
This is really good for a channel that I got randomly recommended to me at 3 am.
I hope your sleep paralysis demon also enjoyed the video :3
@@FierDragon trust me, he did.
Also, stay around for a while. There will be a holiday-sized update anytime now. It also bring tons of little fixes for the game.
the seal was the best :)
I can understand you disliking Engineer but I also love being a schizophrenic constantly spychecking as I leave my nest with my Panic Attack, kill the enemy Heavy, Pyro and Sniper just hear “SPAH’S SAPPING MY SENTRY!” As I hear it, I drop my wrench, that being a Jag and drop to my knees as I stare up to the sky before a Direct Hit Soldier kills me and taunts me.
But yeah whatever, it’s preference I guess.
When people don't like engineer, it's nothing wrong with the class. They just ain't doing it right
I generally just dont like turret characters in FPS games. Not to name the unholy game Overwatch, but I hate Torbjorn and Simetra as well. I understand he's a character a lot of people like but just not for me. Though his "Meet the Team" video is great
Is the audio lagging or is the screen lagging cause the audio is miles back from the actual image being played
Hey! The audio got weird because I had to use UA-cams Editing feature to cut a piece of the video. It should be fixed now!
keep playing this game and tf2 fans will love you
Hmmmmm... I might re visit it
7:55 duuude, you didnt even click the head, and he lost his crits ;(
...what do you mean he had crits? also you're right I didn't click his head
@@FierDragon Critical hit is tripple normal damage, like when you headshot or randomly get it when firing a weopon. He had weapon that gives him 2 guarantee critical hits for every kill and 1 for assist of his sentry gun when its destroyed. His weapon was glowing so he did have them. It cost him a lot (sentry gun) to get the crits.
as a 100 hour guy majority of my gameplay is around community servers bc casual is a clusterfuck
and, its either a (now kinda rare)bot 2fort server or friendly 2fort server or normal 2fort server
valve is really good at giving the community tools to keep itself alive
9:17 Until the Summer update attacks
TRUEEE the summer update was a blast!
There is absolutely no way that a video of this quality is sitting at 507 views, those numbers gotta get pumped up by at least 3 orders of magnitude
I didn't even realize it hit 500 lmao Thanks for the comment
Welcome to the Tf2 Familly, my friendly youtuber I just discovered. I hope you enjoyed your stay^^.....
Forever;)
Yeahhhhh... Once youre in the thunderdome, you stay in the thunderdome
you've probably heard thos before but you need "Dane Juice"
I HAVE haha
NGL TF2 is by far F2P game with micro transactions that actually done right. Not even OW or Fortnite can even compete. And you have a system to vote kick people from the server. Which not other games do that. Democracy at its finest.
Honestly monetization for a game is so big
Team fortress 2 has out lived so many hero shooters, it will live many more.
Its a classic at this point
Congratulations you have been blessed by the algorithm
It really did me justice today! Thanks for boosting it with the comment
Thats a big ask for me to whip out the ol 360
"with captions turned on" he doesn't know KEKW
Careful. If furries can afford a 1k fursuit they can afford a 5 dollar pipe bomb 👀
I respect that they run the IT world and could dox me in an instant
All.Random.All.Mid has got to be the best name for randomizor i have ever seen oml
I think most MOBA games call the game mode ARAMS so it was funny to me to hear it being called Randomizor at first
3:18 i'm pretty sure that's a minigun one of the giant heavy boss bots from mvm uses
Being a gen z who played this game since 2019, for a game thats been around for over a decade (roughly 16 years now) its really fun,
Totally agree!
By the way.... new community gamemodes will probably start to emmerge troughout the years. Last year, the last tf2 dev (known to mankind as:
The Janitor, The contractor, the potted plant, and so on) as added a little thing we call Vscript.
Peak comment right here. Im trying to get into WebDev but game development has always interested me so this is fascinating
Bro announces the engineer a bad class after playing for 4 hours or so. Engi is only good if the sentry works as a trap. Or a prey for the enemy as a distraction, thus creating the subclass, known as the battle engineer.
Im just not a fan of turrets lol
@@FierDragon But because of this, rating a class "a bad class" is ridiculous! I've just realized that I'm talking to someone who likes the spy. I've been taking a liking to the pyro so you better watch out.
5:41 Night Mode turned on.
facts
As a fellow nooby, its nice to know I'm not the only one getting confused
This game takes a massive amount of time to learn. Everything goes way over my head
3:51 i was eating a mc muffin while watching this and least to say im frightened.
AS YOU SHOULD BE >:)
I dont know if it is juts me but the audio is REALLY unsynced
Hey! The audio got weird because I had to use UA-cams Editing feature to cut a piece of the video. It should be fixed now!
This is literally all you have to do to get my subscription

Take some engagement brother 🤝
I will gladly! Thank you brother :)
Commenting for algorithm, great video, love the editing and content.
I appreciate you feeding it. It gets hangry when you don't xD
tf2 got a update
I saw!!! is it any good?
@@FierDragon for 5 years without an update its pretty good go try it out for yourself
What's with all these underrated channels with the cleanest editing on the planet
Thank you!!!! I put a lot of time into my edits
Tf2. Truly the game of all time.
Amazing editing man, keep it up
Im trying!!! I didn't realize how much it would blow up
ummm i will not take this engineer slander watch uncle dane IMMEDIATELY
I have now that everyone is telling me to watch him!!! Pretty solid content imo
This content is very much like "Therussianbadger" keep making them and you have a chance of going far my friend :)
Back when he was doing R6, he was what got me into making my own videos
You got me at "Blizzard sucks"
LMAO thank you
6:13 "Oh, it's super racist, but it's not toxic" Slap that on a t-shirt.
"TF2: We may be racist, but at least we're not toxic!"
Its a pretty solid line lmao
I can feel the uncle dane community coming for you
I was warned that the engineer is sacred but I wanted to play with fire lmao
I only got 12 hours in tf2 but within the first 5 there was somone playing mario porn over the vc
its either out of pocket in the vc or no one is talking in the vc
@@FierDragon yea its a wild fire sometimes
HAHA, As someone who mainly plays on Chdata's Saxton Hale server, you made the right choice. I know SkunkFace He's hilarious. also in my opinion Chdata's saxton hale is the most balanced one out there
It was a really fun server to play on!
did you mess up the audio sync around 1:10?
Hey! The audio got weird because I had to use UA-cams Editing feature to cut a piece of the video. It should be fixed now!
Nice editing bro
Nice comment Bro :')
I was forces to play tf2 for 1 minute and i lost my dignity and my sanity
Im just a shell of who I was before playing this game xD
hey FierDragon, there are 2 reasons you got votekicked, either the new votekicking mod to fight bots or the bots version of that where it forces a vote and then a yes vote. Its a very annoying macro system, but anything to vote kick bots immediately.
interesting to learn!!
W video, i jsut joind the tf2 community like, a week ago. and ive realized how fuckin amazing it is.
It's a pretty solid game if I do say so myself
Love the edits of this video!
Thank you!!! I put so much work into editing these
Wow your channel seems full of good videos, yet there's barely any views on them
I've subbed.
Thank you! I've been told my thumbnails need work
2:27 so what happen is that the bots learned to kick real players and once one joins kick it immediately or they will multiply and more bots in the server they real players scamming anoying songs and kicking each player one by one until it’s just bots and if you try to kick one the bots are coded to recunize other bots and vote no
THE BOTS ARE LEARNING???
@@FierDragon the Hoster is
I say that most of its staying power comes from the sorce film maker animations
TRUEEEEE SFM is under rated
@@FierDragon and its a game that was made to be fun and not just to sell skins
I like the RussianBadger editing man keep it up!
Thank you
really nice sfm bits at the start. just a heads up for the future though, make sure you have motion blur unchecked in the viewing port before rendering.
I will definitely do that! I didn't know I could do that and I appreciate the tip!
underrated, good job man
I really appreciate the support! and that you fed the algorithm for me. It gets feisty when it hasn't had its meal
You got the IP for that Touhou themed Saxton Hale server?
Would like to know that as well.
Ill try to find it but Ill be honest, I just clicked on the one with the most players at the time
