They Luckily did Remaster these game for older consoles, I mostly see Jak, Jak 2, and Jak 3 on the Playstation store, including Jak X Racing. They are all worth $15.00 USD and The quality such as Audio in Jak 2 Isnt the best. Some Audio spikes here and There, The Collection of all 4 games is also for PS3, I bought my games on my PS4, I'm not sure if you can transfer the game to the PS5 though, but still, Remasters of all the Jak games, Exist. And are on the Playstation Store, I'm not sure about others, I belive it's also for PC. But for now I know for Sure Jak remasters Exist. Published and Created by: Naughty Dog INC
Agreed, Activision showed that even the PS1 era games (Crash and Spyr) are liked by many people as a remaster and that even a new title can be successfull; Crash 4 was incredibly good and many think its the best entry in the series. And Insomniac has shown that a 2 decade running game series can still improve and be successfull, despite its "kiddie" graphics; I mean they constantly improved sales numbers and even though the story was crap in the 2016 reboot, it was the most successfull R&C game ever made. And now with Rift Apart they managed to make pretty much the best entry to the series ever! (which will likely have even better sales numbers). I dont understandy why Sony isnt doing something with Jak and Daxter or Sly Cooper (to be fair, the latter one was supposed to get a TV show and now a Funko Pop gets released out of nowhere). I just hope that the failed Medievil remaster did not discourage them.
PS3 had a remaster of Jak and PS4 had an emulated version however both are considered a downgrade compared to the PS2 releases. The PS3 version had graphical oddities due to the texture upscaling and higher resolution plus the patched bugs pissed off the speed running community. The PS4 version had audio issues and odd bugs caused by emulating PS2 games.

How the fuck do they get down there anyway? I've killed them all with Dark Bomb in hero mode and looked around the place. There ain't no damn doors or lifts or anything
You cannot access the Underground Sytem in the Ship, you cannot kill, nor damage the Guards that are hiding down there, They are Spawned down there and cannot move, Their main objective is to Brutally Murder you
When there's at least eight enemies against you or during the guard pursuit at the start of the game. You know, when they're a floor under you and start shooting at you.
