- Audi S3 Project update. This car is a much bigger project than I thought! I bought this car from a car auction unseen and it has lots of problems. It is 2007 Audi S3 8P pre-facelift in sprint blue with a 2.0 tfsi turbo petrol engine.

You might wanna check the A/C controller actually works properly, in particular check you get cold air coming into cabin. A facelift unit will generally not work properly in a pre facelift 8P. It will light up and blow, but the flaps won't engage properly.

You should be able to get the outer B pillar trim directly from Audi.
I had the same issue years ago. Cost under £20 if I remember correctly. Although inflation would have increased the price.
We deffiently need more calv and will content absolutely love it when you to come together

Just done a cam roller conversion on my mk5 gti, it's running rtech stage 2+. Don't have to check it again and worry about it wearing through damaging the cam lobe.

I'm getting flash backs from when i got my Facelift S3 it developed a missfire on the way back from buying it, I kept driving it as it needed to get home to the Audi specialist in turn resulting in a 5k Forged rebuild and huge new turbo, so the car will be mine now until it dies as i will lose 6k selling it but I love the power and sound big smiles worth every penny!
I could listen to Will talking about cars all day long, you’re going above and beyond with this one guys, will be a bloody good motor once you’re finished.

Audis are a pain in the arse they hate it when you mess with the engine they start misfiring an getting air locks .I had two petrol ones an they both got the same problem after remapping them the diesel one I had loved it when I remapped it it pulled like a train ..I’d never have a petrol Audi again it put me right off them
