Sorry, I was only filming now and then, not a determined effort to film the event. Also very hot, my Sony phone camera doesn't like it all filming in HD/4K. Looking at the event Programme, I can't see an entry for a Peter Brown 🤷 though I do remember someone near the end of the event going around time after time. Was that you ?
No problem, yes the bike was entered by Adrian Sellars but he gets me to ride it, I am very lucky there. Raced Manx Nortons for many years, will be back in 2024 🤞
@@peterbrown7130 Found it, entry number 277. A 1961 made bike it says. You raced those bikes back when exactly ? Historic racing I presume, not when they were new. No idea if we'll be back. If you have read the videos Description Section, you will see we arrange to go to events which appeal to my mate Robin from Canada. He's literally just WhatsApp me to say he'll be over next year 15 - 30 June.
@peterbrown7130 and @andrewking I looked through my videos but no Norton either ( Andy’s mate Rob ) . I used to watch a lot of club racing in England in the early to mid Eighties . Went to some races with an older friend called Ted a good friend of his Bill used to race a BSA triple but sadly died at Snetterton , they both used to work at Odhams printers in Watford with my dad before taking redundancy . Still haven’t been to The Isle of Man yet but hopefully when I retire in a couple of years when I’m back over in the UK I can persuade Andy and my mates to go there .
Nice bit of background commentary Andy , certainly was a great day out and a fun event .
Great video. Can’t believe you didn’t get me, loudest bike there and I had 6 runs! 500cc Manx Norton 😀
