hes very strong, the demo gear is very powered down for fighting him and you need a lot of utility skill... the 15 minute timer is more discouraging than the fight itself tbh =(

Here are some hints we learned with this hunt that could be useful: 1: Appearently, when Magnamalo gets weaker, his hellfire changes color, so meaning his attacks and skills will be ten times more dangerous (sort of), so it's good to evade and counter. 2: When Malo falls by any attack, it's a good opportunity to focus your attacks on breakable parts the fastest way as possible. 3: I noticed that Magnamalo also hides some aditional scales. We can see some when he uses his tail attack. Probably that means the attack will be stronger, so destroying or cutting the tail should do the trick. 4: That hellfire likely seem to explode sometimes when Malo tries to recover his posture. Again, dodge and counterattack. 5: Having 2 sword users and 2 bowgun users could be very efficient. Gunners can bring Malo down, while the blademaster handle the tail and head.
For those wondering, some people have gotten early access to the demo. Not that it released for EVERYBODY just now. 10PM Eastern Time I believe for Western audiences. Early in the morning for Eastern

If there's anything I'm thankful for this demo being cranked to hell difficulty, it's being able to see these guys demonstrate how these weapons can work around an aggressive monster's attacks while still pumping out damage. Do you HAVE to play this way to have fun? No. But does it hurt to know some of these options when you come up against a monster that gives you trouble? Absolutely.
@@M-Rain_Wizard I can afford a switch but I'd rather wait a year for £50 game rather than just buy the switch for one game. plus PC will have mods at some point :). I'm just glad they actually decided to bring it to PC because chances are they wouldn't have.

The reason Magnamalos theme didn't play, was because the boss wasn't Magnamalo but Vycery.
Used this as a guide to help me beat him and I finally did! Thank you you helped immensely!!!
