My first Morton Building home I saw is in Kansas, and OMG!!!! it was the most beautiful house I ever saw in my life. Being from Detroit, I never saw such a house that was so freaking stable I was in aww🥹
As of 2021 I got an estimate from one of Mortons representatives of $75-$125 per sq ft. I was also told this price was only for the shell and insulation. Getting the house finished would add more to the cost with whatever contractor I go with. These are nice homes but something to think about in todays economy.
We have a few offices servicing Kentucky. You can find which one is closest to you by visiting our office locations page: mortonbuildings.com/sales-offices
Have you built any homes in Ohio around any of these counties; Union, Delaware, Marion, or ? I am interested in a modern farm house look, my wife thinks all the videos look too much like a barn Thanks
where did you get a price like that? the manager at a local dealer told me $55/sq foot for just a shell or $110/sq ft finished. that doesn't include land, plumbing, electrical, site prep, permits nor a dozen other costs. the building you're describing would be $176,000 just for the shell. and it's still just a timber frame building with a metal covering. I crossed this idea off my list very quickly. you might as well build a log cabin or brick home. these storage building homes would be extremely difficult to resell.
Hayden Rose it is a great deal. now this was just for the building materials delivered. no set up. no concrete. no snything. just dropping the building off to my site with all materials... which is still ok.
heriberto fernandez ikr hoping to find some land and get one of these metal homes built. pinterest has some pictures of lot of beautiful homes from metal.
2 years later.. I sure hope you didn't pay $170k for that. A steel building that size should be around $60k including the concrete pad and installation. Not including any finish work, electrical, plumbing etc. but even with all the finishes I'd guess you'd be around $100k keys in hand.
These are nice houses but they have skyrocket!!! The pole barn concept was a bigger house for half the price. These homes are now more than a brick home. It’s really sad. There is a lot less material that is used to build these types of homes, less man hours but cost more than brick. What a joke. Hey shit on the blue collar working man should be yalls moto. LoL
I don’t thank that. It’s just the concept of the pole bark home was to keep the price down. But to your comment you are right. Why do all these home builders cater to the rich. Not everyone can pay 300,000 for a house. Heck not even $200,000. The average household income is only $50,000 a year but yet the average home sold is over $250,000. For this reason that is why I’m looking at a pole barn home cause I can not afford a brick home. Guess I was wrong. I can’t afford a home period and I make $70,000 a year. I have 2 kids in college right now because I don’t want them to struggle as much as me. So that’s why I said yep screw the blue collar worker. We live in a shit hole of a home cause everyone caters to the rich. But I will not let my kids go through what I’m going through. They will get a good education. So thanks for shitting on me.
Thank you sir. Sons are doing great. The youngest 21 now have been at his job about a year now. It’s a company called Nextera Energy. He works on wind turbans. I’m actually a little jellies of him but all so, so very proud. Not even a full year at the company and is just over $90,000 k. All I asked from him is a HEMI powered wheelchair if and when the time comes. LoL.
Constitutional Republican oldest son 25 years old is double majoring in business and advertising and working full time job. He is help paying for his collage as much as he can and working full time. Almost 8 years in college and he is not giving up. I don’t have to worry about my kids struggle like me. Thanks for asking.

I totally agree. Every one of the homes are drop dead gorgeous! Love the homes.

Wow! Just beautiful! Next year we plan on doing a Morton home hopefully. Thanks so much for sharing.
Thanks for the heads up! I WAS about to contact them, but they sound like they are already out of my price range.
I have built in and around Morton barns and they really are built to almost perfect standards.

Why no use close cell foam?
Do you build small homes (under 1,000 sq ft)?
Do you have any locations in Kentucky? Sure they do because KY has a ton of horse barns.
