We need more shows like this. Heartfelt stories with meaning can really impact someone's creativity and inspire others to do amazing things. I hope Warner Bros teams up again to make more movies into instant classics like this one. I think that these shows and movies really do make an impact on our generation despite what most pre-era people think.

Just watched this and holy moly it’s easily one of my favorite movies. The animations was amazing, the music was amazing, the sound effects were amazing.
hiroyuki sawano is legit one of the most amazing anime soundtrack creators, if not soundtrack genre in general. he puts so many feelings into his work, and you can really tell he knows how to put the message of the anime into his work
I want a full fledged anime solely focused on freerunning or parkour, though it saddens me that no anime, no matter how good in terms of plot, will defeat Bubble when it comes to the sheer fluid movement the characters have.
It's a tough competition for first place and personal taste intervenes a little in which animation might be better. For me, I'm just glad we are able to experience both animes. Both are masterpieces in their own right
I watched the movie today and it was absolutely beautiful the animation, the story, and the music was all absolutely beautiful…I would get chills whenever Uta would sing or whenever you guys took your time to show the beautiful scenery in the movie I loved this!! 💖
I agree with everything except for the story part. There wasn’t really a foundation of what it was going for and felt like it was trying to balance many things the best it could within a 1 hour and 40 minute time span and failed to really establish the world within that time. It leaves you with many questions that unfortunately do not get answered at the end. Like with the bubbles for example. There was not really a good explanation on their origins and what their purpose was.
I suggested this movie to my wife after watching it on my own. She asked me if it was a love story and if it had a happy ending. I said "Yes, of course it does! It's awesome!" So after realizing it's the Little Mermaid story reimagined my wife REFUSED to finish it. She was actually mad at me! XD. Fast forward two weeks... she comes into the kitchen with these beautiful tears running down her cheeks. I already knew. "So how was the ending?" She just cried more and said it was such a good movie. XD Now it's one of her favorites. Bubble is just that. A great anime movie. Great soundtrack. Great animation. Great voice acting (Japanese and English, honestly).

The running under the collapsing building part took my breath away the first time I saw it. This entire scene is incredible.
