Watched this movie last night. One of the greatest movies I’ve ever seen. Beautifully animated, drawn, the colours are amazing, the story is beautiful, the music is moving. Only critique is that Uta didn’t reappear in human form parkouring over the buildings with Hitomi at the end; although it is implied with the bubble following him, I really wish she regained her human form.
i finally know why the animation is so good that is because of the director (𝐓𝐞𝐭𝐬𝐮𝐫ō 𝐀𝐫𝐚𝐤𝐢) ....the one who have direct the AOT from season 1 to season 3 from WIT studio.
Nothing 'ethnic' about it, considering the origin of the inspiration and where all the music is derived from. You're an ignorant western freak with no understanding of music. Which is why you have decided some short bar/catchy rubbish is music. A sign of the times but there is nothing beautiful about a laughable lack of taste like yours chump.
i really appreciated this movie a lot, especially considering the autistic/neurodivergent and disabled representation ❤ definitely not what i had expected, when it first came out i saw a lot of people on my timeline saying they found it boring or just didnt like it and stuff, but when i watched it about a week ago i really connected with some of the characters and enjoyed finding potentially hidden meanings and metaphors, regardless of if it even has any canonically, i found my own meanings in it, it really touched my heart

The art, animation and music were top-tier, but the story was mediocre, as it is with many other anime movies. Still I would recommend it because everything else besides the story was awesome!
All the plot was some cheesy philosophical ending that had nothing to do with the story as like a quick wrap up. Also the song sounds like my old andriod wake up theme.
