I deeply hate r*ssia (I am Ukrainian) but the new data makes far more sense than 27 million, considering the incredibly low population growth on USSR-occupied territories throughout 20th century (even though birth rates were high)

Interesting fact here, Bolivia lost a core to Paraguay in Chako war in 1932-1935 (bolivias german military specialists against paraguaian white movement russian civil war exiles). 3/4 of Chako Boreal region was given to Paraguay, but Oil was in 1/4 that was given to Bolivia (second largest oilfield in SA)

had a neat idea, since you use that mod that renames divisions for channel members, maybe at the end of videos you could give a shout out to whichever member unit is the most decorated at the end of a run, like which member it got the name for and some key accomplishments? could make for a neat little thing to do
As a bolivian this was absolutely hilarous. My great grandparents were part of the elite of the brown ideology party, the FSB. They would be happy knowing that you restored the glory of bolivia i guess.
I’ve always found South America in HOI4 to be really fun to watch (i say that because i don’t know or understand how to actually play). A theater that was mostly out of the war and has several very poor countries you can potentially take over a whole continent with, and then maybe just maybe invade the USA. Just seems interesting
Whenever you finish a war with a country that owns your cores, if at all possible annex that country whole. Then once the peace deal concludes, simply release as a puppet and make sure to click the box that says "retain core states." So much easier than hunting down every core state and clicking it separately.
Just gonna drop a hint for Finland for when you get to the letter F, Do not defend Lapland. There is absolutely zero supply there so just put a couple forts on the border of USSR and on the line between Lapland and Southern Finland because Mannerheim has massive defence bonuses. (Forests are your friend)

So it's a 50/50 between him being able to do Finland before. Though he might hold out on it till Arms against tyranny releases, such as doing more disaster saves.
It was quite strange to witness an invasion of my hometown in HOI4. Most Europeans may be accustomed to it as they often play in the European setting. However, I reside in Florianopolis, Brazil, and the sight of a naval invasion in my town gave me goosebumps, to say the least. lol
Well done :D alot of clicking at the starrt tho. The focus tree looks good but its prob an hour orso in game time to get past the initial focus tree bit.

When you get the bug and are unable to open the war tab: save and reload. Fixed. It's probably one of the oldest bugs in the game. Really annoying when it hits in multiplayer
I am BEGGING you, play the Peru-Bolivia path for a video one day, maybe even when you play Peru later in the series, it was one of my favorite paths in the mod becoming hegemon of South America and then intervening to help the soviets (I played as communist Bolivia)
Imaging you are in German Headquarter, your side are losing and suddenly a country - now an empire from South America ask to join your faction, then turn the tide.
So I recently did a Germany campaign where I buffed some Allies and the Soviets in the game setup and got some interesting results on the air war. Basically when using intercept I traded from 5 to 1 up to 10 to 1 (being outnumbered like 3 to 1 at least). Might be interesting to players struggling with air cause once the enemy is down you just swith to superiority mission, put your CAS up and cut through your enemies like a knife through butter

Because of Southamerica: When you get to Peru, please use the road to 56 and Go down the „Empower Benevidas“ by choosing the civil war. Then choose Victor Haya de la Torre and go down the right side of the tree. I personally think, its the best Peru I‘ve seen so far.
I played Brazil of this mod and my god, its a decision making hellhole. So many decisions that are running out of time, so many things to click on, so many things to spent political power on. The decision list is so long. So many focuses on the focus tree to pick at the right time. So many negative notifications popping up. I have to spend so much political power I can't even spend it on advisors or military staff. I'm hoping stuff like this this gets toned down in future updates of this mod. But other than that, I'm impressed. The focus trees so far are good, the national spirit bonuses are good, there are new provinces. Most focuses are less than 70 days. I recommend this mod to everyone to give South America a world stage in HOI4.
had a similar game as manchukuo the other day, defeated japan and china, formed the qing, then moved to save the axis who almost capitulated by invading the uk using the japanese navy i stole, went to go invade the ussr but it was 1945 at this point and the game was super slow

Question here. I have a couple hundred hours in Hoi4 but have never played a south American nation. I've always figured it would be impossible since ever nation has a guarantee from the US. Does that not apply if you are playing as a South American nation? Or if there some work around?
I play with this mod, it's fun, I can change history and joind the allies as Argentina and recover the Malvinas...or join the axis and take them by force and then conquer the whole continent 😆
Sorry to double-dip, but you might want to think about a different strategy for taking out the UK. Sooner or later Paradox is going to figure out that Hull is the weak point and do something about it.
What is the easiest way of taking the UK, France and Netherlands owned territories in South America? Is it just a waiting game until they are occupied elsewhere so its easier to take those territories out?

Given the motorized divisions he's favoring and having to claw through all these troops with subpar starts, would not using motorized divisions to salvage equipment from his defeated enemies make sense? Especially given the number of encirclements he tends to do, or am I misunderstanding the mechanic, or how useful it is?

A tip for future south america games: make transport planes to supply your troops. Trust me, it does work!

I would probably start with Waking the Tiger and No Step Back. You could probably skip Together for Victory and Battle for the Bosporus for now.
