In my 68+ years on this earth I found out a long time ago there is no such thing as a “free lunch”. I see these scam ads and they are, at least to me, so obvious I can’t understand why people fall for them
for every person who works hard and saves his money to buy needed tools their 10 people trying to figure out how to cheat them out of the money.

Not long ago I saw a total knockoff of the Home Depot website. Name, logo, everything. I called home depot to report it and I was like I want to report this and they didn't know where to send me other than gave me the corporate office phone number. When I called, they were closed for the weekend but the next business day the fake site was no longer up.

Hey Vince I saw a video that said Milwaukee gen4 fuel 1/4’’ impact drivers are breaking after a few months of steady use,are you or did you experience any problems with your gen 4 impact drivers?
I saw a similar or maybe the same ad on UA-cam several times. they said no credit card needed. I gave them my junk mail address. I’ll start filling out the forms when they were asking for personal information. I did a Google search for the giveaway and kept up with nothing. I could not verify whether it was a scam or not. As Meatloaf said “STOP RIGHT THERE!”
I just pay the 30$ a month for UA-cam premium, you can have 3 accounts, share the accounts with a friend or family member, can make it only cost 10$ a month per person, no ads. The only ads I see are ads channels put on their videos. It’s amazing for working and playing music.

I've seen the clip/ad three times tonight, and I clicked on it to see what it was. As soon as I saw the fine print, I knew it was a SCAM. You are directed to a funnel page then you must complete ten "offers" in order to "receive" the tools. This is one of the oldest scams. It isn't necessarily a scam where they take your money and you don't get anything in return. you actually pay for the services they are selling, but they are all BS ads and offers.
I've been seeing that advertisement all over UA-cam and prime video!
Thankfully I'm very skeptical and whenever I hear an AI or fake sounding voice on an ad I will not pay it any attention. But I've been getting a little sick of seeing that free Milwaukee tool stuff for if your age this or born between this year and that year.

It's disgusting how fast these companies can bring in millions of dollars especially someone like Vince who is a very liked individual who really never asks for anything except hit the like button but I've seen videos where scam companies use people's faces and within less than a week can make a few million dollars. I practically got a free Milwaukee tool from Home Depot, I got a bundle that included 3497-22 combo kit($200), a 48-11-2425 battery ($80) and a 2522-20 cut off saw($130) which purchased separately would have been $410, but I got it for all for $270.
People get fooled very easy when they hear the word free, so sad but true.
People should know better, come ain’t nothing free . One way or the other you pay.

There is a big reason why if you compare the tools that my father used compared to the tools I use today. You go look at my father's tools you have almost every name brand company that existed because everything was corded where today you're almost committed because of the battery platform. Basically all my tools are Milwaukee except my miter and table saws there's still corded and I don't think I'll ever change from buying DeWalt because I believe they make the best saws.

I saw that video. Figured it was a scam and you were right at the beginning of the video. I reported it. Now I saw it a second time same thing and reported it. Saw it again today and all the clips in the beginning where taken out but still bs that these people can just take your image and work. I’ll always report it

@@VCGConstruction yo Vince! Yeah the last time I saw the same ad run on UA-cam all creators clips weren’t in the beginning. The first 2 times I saw that add your fast was first front and center and they added 2-3 clips of other UA-camrs in. Last time I saw it was just for the tools. But again it should never happen like that. Especially for something you are not sponsoring or affiliated with. I’m sorry you gotta deal with that but hey, you must be doing something right for everyone to recognize you 🤜🤛. Keep up the great work!

It was painfully obvious that ad was a scam. People need to get more discerning. If it’s too good to be true then it isn’t true. I actually won a ‘sweepstakes’ type thing once and before accepting it I verified it three different ways and at no point did they ask me for anything other than where to send the products.

I’ve had the same thing happen! Scammers have set up fake accounts using my videos and pictures too. It really pisses me off, plus we’re left to answer for viewers being disappointed. Sorry this is happening to you, Vince!

This is not special to the channel, tools, or even Milwaukee. The amount of impersonation accounts/comments on YT pretending to be the actual account or some kind of "rep", only to mislead & scam - again - regardless of content type; it is UA-cam's fault in moderating when it happens on this platform. The same applies to the others as well.
Unfortunately, it's not like there's an easy fix. Common sense is not common, and the superiority complex for "so smart, so intellectual - why of course"- nothing is free is nice; except at one point or another everyone either has been or knows someone who's been taken for a ride. Therefore whatever is logical to you, is not to everyone otherwise, we wouldn't even be here... Life's a circle, no use in kicking down & instead educate them.
Idk everything, but for once on a positive note it is a worthwhile endeavor to help in reporting scams because it does make people hesitate just enough, and take that split second before clicking a link or hitting send. It's for every good/innocent minded person's benefit 👍🏽

Hey vince they are doing it with other tool brands too. Also using your face. They are using AI to change the tools in your video to the brand they are pushing. If I see them again I will stay vigilant.
