I've eaten overnight oats every single day for the last few years lol. Fuel my morning workouts so well. Lately I've done 1/2 cup each thick rolled oats, berries and almond milk, 1/4 cup each zucchini and oat yogurt, 1/2 scoop chocolate protein powder, 1 T each goji berries, ground flax, hemp hearts, walnuts, pumpkin seeds! All for around 500 calories :)

You are absolutely UH-Mazing!! Also loved the "You don't need a mason jar" comment! 100% truth!! I wonder how many subscribers who follow other vegans spend too much $$ on things that are not even necessary. All glass containers, steel or glass straws & no microwaves?? Ain't nobody got time for that! No wonder people change their mind or get discouraged about becoming a vegan simply because they can't afford an air fryer, Instapot or Vitamix? It's about EATING healthy....not going into debt or feeling pressured to buy things you don't need. Thank you for always being transparent, beautiful, quirky, hilarious & truthful!! You're the BEST!!! Much love!

I watched this video 2 days ago and made all five varieties right after watching. So far I have had the black forest and the tropical. OMG they were sooooo good! I loved them both. 🥰 Tomorrow is carrot cake day. Cannot wait. 😉Aaand it's unbelievable how long they kept me full. That's all I ate for breakfast, and I was full for 5-6 hours. I usually eat every few hours, so that's incredible. This is the first recipe I've tried with no yogurt or chia seeds and the inclusion of a banana. I liked the texture very much. Nice change, and so far no need to further sweeten with anything. I'll def be making these again. Can't wait to narrow down my favorites.

I go between carrot cake and apple pie. Because I have fibromyalgia, I freeze a lot of my foods so I don't have to prep too much and possibly flare myself up. So, I grate the carrots and slice the banana and freeze them in individual servings and put everything in the pot in the morning and cook it. I tried overnight oats and like them, but in my winter season (which is LONG~~Canadian here 🤷‍♀️) I prefer cooking it. I've never tried passionfruit before and after seeing you enjoy the heck out of it, I'm going to have to try 😉 Thank you for everything Chelsea! Much appreciated 🤗

Great tip! And in the summer, you can throw the frozen goods in a container w/ liquid and put them in the fridge to let them defrost... that's what I do with mine, and it's ready for me the next day. But it's been coooold lately so I am going to try your winter tip, thank you. 🙂

I love this inspiration! My favourite overnight oats are: oats, pinch of ground cloves, water (no plant milk or banana/sweet ingredient at this point) and plenty of (frozen) raspberries on top. In the morning I drizzle a amall amount fruit sirup (concentraten fruit juice, made from pure fruit, no industrial sugar added) on it. I love the contrast of a more bland oatmeal on the bottom and the intense sweet raspberry topping, so I also don't stir...

I always add lemon or orange zest to my ON oats. I like lemon water and instead of discarding the peal, I zest the lemon before cutting and freeze the zest for ON oats. I also use sprouted rolled oats. I also use ground chia seeds instead and save my flax for my evening smoothie dessert.

ive been having porridge since its winter here and i prefer something warm, but will be definitly going for these in the summer! i like adding sweet potato and i always add a shred carrot, plus cinnamon, ginger, peper and nutmeg. ends up like a carrot/pumpkinspice delicious thing ♥ if i dont have sweet potato i go for carrot and banana or apple. easy and delicious!

I LOVE your videos Chelsea! I haven't had overnight oats in ages -i will have to have some soon! I usually batch cook 4 days worth of oats in instant pot - I use steel cut and add grated zucchini and carrot, cinnamon and ground flax. That way each morning I just heat a portion and add blueberries and apples - i love it :)

Hi Chelsea. I love this video!! My go to recipe is oats with the same amount of plant milk(I use almond), half a packet of stevia, a drop of maple syrup, a little less than 1 tbsp peanut butter, a tbsp of chia seeds. In the morning I top it with a sliced banana. Yum! I love your comment amount the higher calorie and that it is ok. And that way you don’t blow the whole day. I have been trying to eat as few calories as possible throughout the day. ☹️ I had such a hard time because I ate ‘bars’ (easy, portable, discreet, etc). Hard to find one low calorie, decent size and taste good. 🤦🏼‍♀️ lol never resulted in weight loss. I only gained!! 👎🏻 I was looking at this for my husband, but I will definitely try it as well. 😊 thank you!

Making overnight oats for the first time tonight to have ready to go breakfast to take to work... They all look great and I love the idea of using a banana instead of maple syrup (although that is available everywhere here in Canada). I am trying one similar to apple pie, but I also added in raisins and walnuts.... Also as I don't have any black currants, I will also use raisins in the carrot cake one. I love having variety, I think I will have to try them all. :) Thanks for a great video Chelsea!

I’ve been LOVING overnight oats lately! I’ve been keeping it simple.
    1/2 c. Oats
    1/2 c. Soy milk
    1/2 tbsp maple syrup
    1/2 tbsp chia seeds
    1 tsp of vanilla
    Pinch of salt
And then 1-2 tbsp PB2 and either jam or fruit!
I actually found some white chocolate peppermint macadamia nut milk and it’s like dessert for breakfast, I just use it vs soy milk and skip the add ins. 😁
I need to try your carrot cake recipe tho!!

I buy my ground flax in bulk. I tried buying the whole flax in bulk at the same store and grinding it myself-but that’s not popular so when I went to grind them it was already rancid!
The ground flax at my store has enough people buying it that it gets replenished quickly.
I store a small amount in my fridge and the rest in my freezer.

Wow, those all looked so delicious Chels!
I love to make my over night oats with blueberries. Sometimes I use a few drops of caramel flavour in it and sometimes cinnamon. I also love to use sojamilk in my oats, just like you do.
The other day I mixed apple sauce in my oatmeal and it was so yummy. I love to buy already made apple sauce or pear sauce or other fruit sauces and mix them in my oats. Recently here in Germany, more and more companies offer yogurt and pudding made from lupines. Those products are so yummy and there is not a lot of bad ingredients in it, actually they are pretty clean. I love to mix some of those yoghurts and puddings in my oats as well. Lupines are great. They even make cheeses from it and also coffee, which is caffein and gluten free and tastes very good. :-)

Anybody know the name of the song at 2:25 / 4:10?? 🤯💕💕💕 Idk if its "I'll be back for you" or "bad for you" & I did multiple keyword searches & used an audio detection search program - all no luck 😭 Its one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard 🥹

You made rolled oats look exciting. Is it better to have them raw rather than as porridge?

These look amazing! I’d love some variety in my morning oatmeal. Did I miss the part where you cook the oatmeal?🧐 I usually microwave mine for 2 1/2 minutes. Is that what you did or were you eating all those cold? P.S. love the coffee cup ☕️

These are overnight oats, no need to cook/microwave them. they just take a bit longer to soften (e.g., overnight)

@@christinaklassen2430 thank you! I had no idea. I make my oatmeal every morning so it seems to be cooked. Can’t wait to try this!

I love your recipes of overnight oats. I have tried most of them but I'm scared for the black forest one. Is cocoa powder good for weight loss? Or if I do it too often I risk to gain weight?

So overnight oats have to have a ratio of 1 to 2 meaning like 1 c oats for double the liquid in order to be low calorie right?

You’re hilarious. Love your channel! All the way from 🇨🇦!!! Do you heat the overnight oats up in the morning after it sits in the fridge? Or do you eat them cold?
