It is a great bike. I have a 2023. It is the perfect platform to make it fit how you ride. Can't beat the CP2 reliability!
Great video, great views from upper LA montains.
Great video!!!
Can't wait to buy it
When will you do an xsr900 update of ownership? I’ve been teetering getting one! Current rebel 1100
Love my 2023 🤘
Picking mine up tomorrow! Just like the one he rode. Yeehaw.
Any idea why the World Raid version is not available in the US...will it be ever available in the US? r at least the upgraded suspension.
The stance reminds me of my old 1984 VF700 Interceptor.
Southern California and Saddleback mountain!
I can't tell for a fact, but looks like you're near Topanga, which is where my Daddy lived! Usually say I'm envious of those back where I call home. But London is home for me as well. & ofc Cali Sun is just better, so are there Taller Mountain's 😂& air you can Breath! Not just talking humidity either! I hope you have a good Holiday Mister! You truly are fun to watch! You & Alex are my favorites. Maybe this coming yr I'll catch a glimpse irl as I'll be in Boulder off & on again.
Did Yamaha give it a bigger fuel tank?
please test the extrem
Tubeless tires?
What gloves?
In Europe those changes were for 2023 model
Yes. I've gone on multiple little tirades about it, but tl:dr The T7 is still the Bike for someone who wants a bit more of a simple, rugged, yet elegant vehicle with more dirt than asphalt in its' Dna.
Think about this. The new CFMoto 450 twin will be released in Australia early next year for $8990 ride away as a special. That price is less than HALF the new price of a T7 plus it has electronics and is 10-15 kg lighter although only 45 Hp. Surely that deserves some close attention. Look out Japan, here comes the Chinese challenge.
Where do you live that a T7 cost $18,000? Here in the US it still coast $10,799
@@yamkaw346 new price ride away $19,990 here in Australia.
*ahem* China bad, not in terms of quality, but morality
And with cf moto you will have no dealer and no parts . Keep a credit card on you to get back home
you guys should get a Janus motorcycle.
what was gear?helmet and clothes
So no cruise controll and no tubeless tyres?
That's 2026 updates!
No. Remove all 2023 features again and make it a 10k bike again. Since the introduction of the Tenere prise has risen here by 2000€. Luckily I got my 2022 model for 10.700€ in November 22. If I would have waited and bought it in 23, I would have paid 12.000€. Don't need TFT, don't need stupid phone connectivity and the old ABS for this bike was good enough. Does this bike ride better with these features? No. Why no better suspension worth 2k? Or anything that really improves the riding experience.... No, they pump these bikes full of useless stuff that just makes it more expensive. Now even the new Trans Alp is cheaper than the Tenere but has more features, more HP... Why Yamaha? Keep it a simple and inexpensive bike. With the new price it's a no brainer anymore, you buy the Trans Alp.
It’s $10,799 USD. I’d be happy for European prices
its not the changes only but mainly inflation

Also, tft helps me immensely with my eyes, off road ABS is wonderful, phone connectivity is super convinient while travelling long distances,I agree on suspension a bit but really it ain't that bad (6' 350 lbs) overall the T7 is still the bike for me, and I'll probably trade in my old one for a new models
@@lucinxar2931 350 son???
Is that a cable throttle?
If so, thats why no after market cruse control.
I have one on my ktm390a.
Darn.
All Teneres 700 have cable trottle. Without ride by wire or the Yamaha YCC-T System which is chip controlled Throttle adding after market cruise control would be a pretty expensive and or even impossible task.
My understanding is the quickshifter only does upshifts. That is a bit of a deal killer for me. The Transalp is cheaper and now a better all-around bike.
For downshifts the bike would need ride by wire which it doesn't have. For upshifting, suspending the firing of the spark plugs is pretty easy to do, but for down shifts you need a system that also regulates the revs.
Why does anybody need a quick shifter on that sort of bike. They’re a gimmick anywhere other than a racetrack.
Is it worth it?
Moot point for those in the US market.
Yamaha won't send NEARLY enough base T7s to meet demand. NO WR or Extreme models is the kick in the nuts to punctuate the lack of base T7s.
450lbs? Not!
My buddies base T7 (full tank) is only around 15lbs lighter then my DesertX when my Ducati is only gassed up to match the T7s range.
We have had the world raid for over a year now in the UK. You can walk into any dealership & pick one up.
Yea, but i personally dislike Ducati's business model, and it is like 170% the cost. And you get a hell of a lot of the capability off road with the T7, and the "lack" of on road ability is kinda laughable compared to basically any other vehicle ok the roads. It ain't a sport bike, don't treat it as one.
Taureg seems to be a better value. But I get the Muh reliability argument.
Do not like the display it looks like they slapped on a mini I Pad
I’m afraid that awful dirge playing during the intro was enough to press stop! I hope the rest of your video was more enticing for those with more stamina than me.
A minute? Pathetic man, truly. You can't handle a slightly down tempo jazzy lilt for even a minute? Got damn
Wow a 30 second intro song and you call it a dirge. Weak bloodline.
