Great work man! Love the truck! I’m working on doing a full restoration on my 96 k1500. Your build definitely gives me inspiration and a budget in mind. Thank you
On my 97 GMC K1500 when the heads finally cracked I put a 383 from GM performance parts in it since it was a direct upgrade fit with no modifications needed.
Great job I got me a 94 f-150 as my first vehicle and am trying to fix mine up too need to get a paint job like yours and I got a new remanufactured 302 V-8 engine in it and I’m tryna fix it up and keep it forever as a cool weekend truck
Its a catalog you can buy parts from, google "lmc chevy", they have everything you can think of. I suggest looking at their light system for yours, they have a setup that makes the dims stay on when you turn on your brights so you get more light. Im gonna order a digital guage cluster from them soon
Hi Luis, I would like to do the same with my Dad’s 1998 Chevrolet Silverado C/K1500. He passed away last year. Same original color as yours. Thanks for the inspiration! I will send you a separate message, would like to connect. George
@@luisdeanda2170 none lmao I'm looking for one. I have been saving my stimulus checks and some money and I want either a 2009-2012 chevy colorado, dodge dakota, or GMC canyon. Everyone tells me to buy a Toyota Tacoma instead but they are so expensive even with high mileage. What truck do you think is best of the ones I mentioned.
This is just my opinion but if your gonna restore a vehicle you should start with the frame and replace everything brakes, lines, gas tank ect but still a great looking truck as long as your proud of it that's all that matters
Looks Chingon, in my opinion best generation of Chevy's
gracias compa
I have 2 1990 k 1500 and they just hold up so well. A future classic no doubt, I’m holding onto them for a while.
Hopefully forever!
I have a 98 that needs the same type of love. Little bit at a time. Great looking truck!

Can’t even find these in my area they’re all rusted out! Love that body style!!
