That was SO INCREDIBLY SWEET what the Junior Elite moms did for Payton and Kerri when Abby kicked them out. They helped her so much and gave her the confidence she needed to go out there and do her best.
It was sweet but to be fair I think this time Abby was right. None of the stuff on her costume looked to be legit trash. She probably placed 2 because nothing about her outfit or props were in relation to the song. Props and outfits do add to the performance.
lori ann was so uplifting for those girls. she was strict but she wasn’t cruel, she gave corrections but also gave praise, she empowered instead of tore down and i love that

Abby's dark choreography has always been my favorite pieces. Always.
Children can and do understand dark matters. Hiding them from it is naive.
Vivi and Kenzie were young for 'where have all the children gone' but they can understand enough for the roles they played.
Rite. I think Maddie’s solo Lizzie Borden deserved a perfect, 300.
I think the age range was perfect. Vivi and Kenzie presented the innocence of little ones that meet a tragic fate.
Lots of kids appear in movies without understanding the full movie and it's fine

where have all the children gone is truly a masterpiece i’m not even gonna lie. if it had been done solely by girls brookes age maybe with more advanced acting skills it would have been even better but it was genuinely such a good piece
edit: came back one year later on accident and liked my own comment bc i didn’t realize this had gotten noticed. i want to clarify by saying having young children in it does make it more haunting but having dancers brookes age (10-12) would be even better to advance the technique and be more haunting

Idk that judgement day dance I think they didn't win not because of choreography but because Kendall completely forgot the dance at the end and was stood there front and centre in front of the judges so it wasn't even a lil hidden
No in the officially judged version she did that whole bit correct, the one on UA-cam was the officially judged version and she did that bit correctly.
I thought that too until the moms said it was perfect, so the judges probably thought it was a stuff up... if it was done correctly, that should be on the choreographer. But it's easy for me to judge, sitting on my couch eating mars bars...

Season 1: Abby talks very calmly to the girls about mistakes in the dances
Season 2+ Abby literally yells snd screams at the girls just for making mistakes!
Season 1 was when they just thought it was going to be a show about dance
Half way through season 2 the producers turned it into a fully fledged reality show

The way the other dance instructor (idk how to spell her name 😭) made Kendall cry by calling her lazy, and then helped express her feelings and even had Kendall yell right back at her thats she’s not lazy! Definitely a great difference between tough and just plain mean like Abby.
