would you get this or the 480hz LG WOLED since it have 4K 240hz too if its mainly used for competitive gaming but you want something to be able to do productivity stuff and play story games on
The LG is future proof. Realistically you won't be hitting 4k 240hz in recent games for years until you get a 5090 or something. And in the meantime 4k UA-cam, 480hz for comp games. Best of both worlds. I got this one though because here in Oceania it's 2k more for LG lol.
If you mean lower hertz I do believe the input lag increases, but I didn’t measure that because I just keep it at max personally! I’m sure there are some other channels with benchmarks out there for that though :)
I'm using a home depot birch butcher block! 6ft long, 25 inches deep I think. Ikea has some similar stuff as well dimension wise. If you want exact links to mine I have another video on my channel that's a full studio tour, and there are links to basically everything in that description :)
Have you had any problems with the brightness? What was the brightness settings and does it eventually hurt the eyes for long periods of time on the monitor?
I’ve had no issues, but I also never keep my monitor brightness at 100% on any monitor just due to the eye damage that can cause over time. Usually I keep mine closer to 70%
I hope this helps. I keep my monitor's brightness at 49 during day time, and if I get eye strain at night with this, I'll reduce it to 38. This is recommended by TFT Central.
I'm really considering to buy OLED and I am doing extensive reseach since these things are not cheap, but the only reall issue I have with them is the text clarity due to the subpixel layout. In the video you said is not really an issue do you still stand by that? I will be doing 50/50 gaming and productivity on my moniotor
I just got a mpg 321urx 2 months ago and i can say: it's perfect👍🏼. But i'm wondering one thing, is clear mr 13000 on msi oled monitors better than dolby vision or not?
in return I'll give you a tip; when using the lumetri scopes and waveforms switch to 10bit color mode instead of the 8 bit (it should be an option you can select under it)
Like the charge dock? It's a 300W one from Ugreen - solid but hella expensive imo (they sent it to me otherwise I probably wouldn't have dropped that much $ on it). Monitor arm is just a basic vivo one of amazon. Cost like $20
you should start a vlog series called in rillos life and abbreviate it like IRL. it'd be like a play on words haha get it? cause IRL = in real life but could also be In Rillos Life
Great monitor! It is a shame they won’t or can’t make it in a 32, 34 or 38 inch version. What is wrong with the manufacturers? I would take those sizes with a 240hz version.
Building my first Pc this coming Saturday and i figured it was time to upgrade my monitor because im getting a 4080 super with the 7800x3d and my current monitor is the acer predator 1080p 240hz monitor lol im sure ima be blown away also im using a series x not a pc
Yo! Currently there’s an i12700k, 32gb of ram, and a 4090 all packed on there. I’m going to be doing a new build soon though so stay tuned for that 🫡 hopefully by end of June
beautiful screen but I can't stand the large chin especially after i've seen options with just tiny black bezels all around. I don't like branding on the display portion of a monitor personally. if im spending that kind of money to enjoy what i'm looking at, that includes the look of the monitor too on my setup. it's unfortunate bc this monitor seems to have everything i'm looking for especially at a much better price point vs the competition. gonna have to keep looking
I've got this one in for review too. Absolutely loving it though I much preferred the bigger 32" 4K one. Still, that KVM switch is a mist have for anyone rocking a laptop and PC setup. Nice review bro and the office is looking pretty spick 👌🏾
It’s really the OLED portion that makes it more expensive, but surprisingly it’s one of the better priced OLED panels on the market. Get what you’re saying for sure though 👌
The peripheral switching is so sick. That feature alone would make working from home a genuine joy haha
Seriously was the feature I was most excited about considering I switch workflows between my laptop and gaming pc so often haha big fan of it
that semi gloss finish looks beautiful
Big fan
Currently using a 1440P 180hz VA and I'll be picking up the 240hz version of this monitor soon. Can't wait. The glossy OLED display looks amazing.
its would be a real upgrade
Me watching the video and see's the same wallpaper of Kame House that I have.
I think I had a vision of this monitor in my desk 😅
Update: yes i bought it on Black Friday
I've used this monitor for the last 3 months, highly recommended! great review homie

Hey Rillo how is the Input lag with lower fps 60-120 fps ?
If you mean lower hertz I do believe the input lag increases, but I didn’t measure that because I just keep it at max personally! I’m sure there are some other channels with benchmarks out there for that though :)

@@rillotv thank you. Seems like a nice size that I can live with. Just hard to visualize sizes just by inches vs seeing stuff on the actual desk.
@@ant1kryst it’s the perfect size imo 👌
Get the mag 360hz because its cheaper. Same monitor without leds...I have the same monitor stand. Good and cheap!
OLED is the whole point
@@Garribean2341I think he means without rgb lighting on the back, it's still oled
Hey what is the rolling desk or workbench you use at the beginning?
It's a home depot birch butcher block (4ft long, 25 inches deep), and I just screwed that into a standing desk frame with caster wheels. Kinda DIY

Wallpaper engine! It’s an app on Steam
Do you have a link to the dragon ball wallpaper?
I don't off hand, but it's called "Kame House" on wallpaper engine!

Why are there no 4K 27" OLED monitors? It's almost impossible, to find one. Why?
Because most people dont like 4k at 27 inch and consider it a waste. I think its pretty cool though personally
