I was a Rogue Company abandoner back in 2020. I moved to Valorant afterwards and the biggest difference was advertising. Rogue Company had a fair amount of content (skins, characters, maps), but simply didn't bother to give any of it substance the way Riot does with its trailers and in-game. I remember revisiting it back in late 2021 and the game had taken a weird turn where any character can use any gun, which turned Rogue Company into a unga bunga sniper fest and gave away the character uniqueness it had.
I remember playing it until a few months before it's sundown on Nintendo Switch, and needless to say, I can understand where you are coming from, but the system isn't as bad as you say. Yes, all characters can use more than their standard weapons, but it's only the same type of weapon they use (e.g ARs, Snipers, Shotguns, etc..), in which you had to fully master the weapon anyways for a full selection unlock. Even so, the Sniper problem does become realistic when someone masters the Sniper Rifle that Phantom and Runway uses, and uses it on any other character.

I feel Rainbow Six kinda lost its identity lately, it is originally meant to be a grounded tactical shooter but now it turned into a flashy hero shooter.
Rogue Company and DirtyBomb are both pretty solid games that just fell off the map due to mismanagement. I hope people jump into THE FINALS to give it the start it deserves. Such a great game with moments unlike anything else I've played
yea, bots are pretty much almost a non-issue in tf2 rn. uncommon to see, and almost immediately kicked since some of us where beating the bots at their own game.
To be honest I don't agree with Paladins and TF2 because TF2 is the unkillable hero shooter, playerbase is still at solid 80k to 100k daily, while R6 is at 40k/50k and OW2 15k/25k. On the other hand Paladins is at risk of dying because many players are leaving to play OW and other hero shooters or just any other game, a few months ago it had 9k players daily, now its just at 4k and decreasing every month.
overwatch is the best game ever made, the pure dopamine you get from playing the game and doing crazy plays is insane. It's more addicting than fun for sure, but have enjoyed my 6 years playing the game 100%
This vid was very valid but didn’t age well Changing to the ranking Overwatch: Risk of dying Apex : risk of dying Both the game have they’re own communities which loves the game but they are in both very complicated situations Apex is having a slow decline due to lack of new content, the matchmaking, and a balancing of the that makes some characters always at the bottom of the pick rates list the game have some more issues but none of them ( in my opinion ) is effecting in an impactful manner the amount of players coming to the game nor staying. Overwatch has been in a tough month or two where the hero balancing overall wasn’t very much appreciated (this shown by a decent decrease in the amount of players in that period of time) but recently they made some great progress which could get easily get overlooked if not kept constant ‘cause of Marvel rivals, a, great hero shooter offering fresh gameplay that overwatch player could easily lean towards
feel like its other way around for overwatch everyone is hating on it but if you talk to ppl who play it they say its actually pretty fun most of the time
Bro, he is like: I like this game cause its a 3rd person ripoff of apex, I hate this game cause its a 3rd person ripoff of Val like make up your mind dude
Overwatch gotta be one of the biggest fumbles of all time. How you gonna drive an entire genre, and breathe new life into e-sports, yet somehow kill your game. sure it isn't "dead" yet, but it could have been so much more
T3arena - risk of dying or on life support - the dev team are radio silence -never got a balance change update for 8 months (but still fix the bugs and maintenance) -they delay super season 5 for 2 times
Overwatch is staying alive from hardcore fans who believe blizzard will fix the large amount of problems. Hopefully they will but people are losing their patience
A part of me hoped this list included "Block n Load" but that game just isn't in anyone's radar (unfortunately) It was a fun game with some controversy behind it ( it wasn't Ace of Spades)
tf2 is sad. i LOVE the game but valve doesnt it should be unkillable tho, will easily last anotherr 7-10 years as long as community servers exist and ppl buy crates ppl will play and valve wont shut it down
Oh how Ironic the TF2 one is 8 months later, with all the new maps, ban waves (or more accuratly tsunamis) and the fan made anti cheat coming out we are doing fone
I got falsely banned off Paladins for use of 3rd party software after taking a 1 year break. They wouldn't even hear me out about this, so I just quit right then and there because I'm not making a new account just to risk getting banned again because according to them my slightly better than average aim is like an aimbot. It's sad because I played it since its beta and genuinely liked it. I play Valorant mostly now because there are no other hero shooters worth playing out there, I just hate that I can't run and gun there.
I got a funny story for TF2. I only played it once, that one time was a time my friend REALLY wanted me to play it to try to get into it and give him a new friend who would play TF2. We played some custom modes and maps for a bit at the start, it was ok. Then we went into an actual match, I was lost as hell but played Medic since medics are pretty basic in every game, I joked that I was gonna pocket one of my teammates, I was actually having a bit of fun....... Then.... I got kicked.... Not by my own team, but by the enemy team... At the time, we thought it was actual players which sorta made me not want to play anymore and never play it again, but then later I learned that it was bot kickers or something like that. Still not gonna play it though lol. My poor friend tried to get me into it for some time, and the one time it works I end up getting kicked and turned off immediately.
@@Squiziano Ima just give ya a shrug to that. I literally don't know much about what can and can't happen in that game. I was still in that state of starting a game and finding things a little daunting with a tinge of confusion.
You can literally have a skin for every single weapon with 20 dollars if not more or less. Traders are the ones holding those expensive items and most of the time they sell it instead of using them
dude im telling you from a valorant player since a year+ it IS going to die out eventually, the community, riot not making the right updates and the gameplay that becomes hard and not fun really fast the game won't live out long.
Only reason Apex is still kicking is because of the damn pro scene, they cater more to pros/content creators by pumping out stupid amounts of collection events and they eat it up for "content" ALGS is the reason the game barely gets changed.
apex legends? i want to stay away from the madness? you fool. the madness needs to stay away from me. my sentience has devolved so heavily into tapstrafing and lurches that even the greatest of minds could not decipher it. to say i need to stay away from the madness is like telling a pencil to be afraid of the lead inside it.
OW players are masters at self gaslighting. All they ever do is complain about the game yet they play it religiously as if it's the only game in existence and sometimes claim it's the best shooter ever
9:25 the studio was also based in Kyiv so they had trouble making this game bc a short man who hasn’t seen sunlight in 15 years went into to the country.
the thing with overwatch is that the game is unique, it doesnt have any real competition and theres no other game that feels exactly like it, like if i was a csgo player and i got tired of it i could go to valorant and viceversa but with overwatch you just have no other option, thats probably the reason it has lasted so long
The only reason games like Apex end up becoming 'not fun' is purely down to dopamine. Once you get good at a game, you start grinding and going for new heights, and that's when frustration comes in, because there's always someone better than you. It isn't fun to play solo though, although no-fill is a blast for me when I'm jamming alone. Definitely best played with a group of friends
Shatterline was great, but the developer is in a war-torn country right now, with an active war, so that would be why updates come slow. It's a Ukrainian developer.
As a former Rogue Company comp player, I consider RoCo dead. The studio who originaly created the game was shutdown in this year and now Evil Mojo, Paladins devs, are now maintaning this game while also doing the same for Paladins and Realm Royale. That means that the game will barely get any new content. It currently has a very small playerbase and it's slowly dropping.
My question to the idiotic devs, why do they keep launching new games instead of making existing games better? We don't need hundreds of shooting games.
im an overwatch 2 player and my only experience with overwatch 1 was the beta. overwatch 2 has already gotten significantly better in just a year and im expecting it to keep getting better. a lot of us are excited and waiting for season 9 because its supposed to be a big season that fixes a lot of current issues or at least takes a bigger step in that direction.
AS a part time paladins player.. I really hope they save the game because god it's soo much fun.. Please hirez.. remake it on UE4 or UE 5 like they are doing with smite
farlight 84 is a mobile game and i kinda like it but the interface is soooo unoptimized for pc everything feels so weird and even just changing sens is really weird. if they would improve the pc players experience i feel like they could really get a huge playerbase
Valorant is dying, content creators are quitting, the player base is at an all time low, and your being gaslit into thinking that valorant is fun, if your saying your being gaslit into thinking apexlegends is fun or overwatch, what do you think of a shooter thats just the same thing over and over again for like 1 hour? The competetive scene is also a mess, each kill is hardly noticable when you have rocket launchers that can kill 5 people at once, its way too complicated and its in a shit spot right now,
I quit the game and uninstalled it months ago and started playing Paladins, also call of duty and started playing Ironsight and other similar free to play.
Splatoon is doing fine (Yeah yeah, get your laughs out. But it actually has an active competitive community and is really fun.) Definitely on its last year or two, but that just means that Sploon 4 will be out by 2028. Really underrated game.

Farlight 84 is my favorite hero shooter of all time.Because you can get more FPS on pc version
Damn i miss rogue co.
Me and a group of 10 play still every night ! Still super active
The first thing i saw on Steam, are Coins you can buy for real money. Looks like a other Tripple A scam to me
Good to see the good live services are still maintaining their momentum.
yea, bots are pretty much almost a non-issue in tf2 rn. uncommon to see, and almost immediately kicked since some of us where beating the bots at their own game.
Unprecedented, exceedingly large cope
Yeah guys, *huff* , tf2 is still a good game *huff huff huff* I never see bots *huff* .
Farlight 84 is adding a world boss to its battle royale gameplay soon. It's gonna be tough to beat.
😂they killed their own game already
Paladins is unrironically a great game, it deserved so much more
i love playing ow2 (i hate my life everytime i play it)
overwatch is the best game ever made, the pure dopamine you get from playing the game and doing crazy plays is insane. It's more addicting than fun for sure, but have enjoyed my 6 years playing the game 100%
say that to the Chinese 💀
you're actually funny, no sarcasm that made me wheeze 😂@@nine_moons3073
This vid was very valid but didn’t age well
Changing to the ranking
Overwatch: Risk of dying
Apex : risk of dying
Both the game have they’re own communities which loves the game but they are in both very complicated situations
Apex is having a slow decline due to lack of new content, the matchmaking, and a balancing of the that makes some characters always at the bottom of the pick rates list the game have some more issues but none of them ( in my opinion ) is effecting in an impactful manner the amount of players coming to the game nor staying.
How you gonna drive an entire genre, and breathe new life into e-sports, yet somehow kill your game. sure it isn't "dead" yet, but it could have been so much more
This video was sponsored by far light
Farlight killed itself.
It's community was so dedicated.
T3arena - risk of dying or on life support
- the dev team are radio silence
-never got a balance change update for 8 months (but still fix the bugs and maintenance)
-they delay super season 5 for 2 times
Overwatch is staying alive from hardcore fans who believe blizzard will fix the large amount of problems. Hopefully they will but people are losing their patience
Dirty bomb mentioned in 2023 holy fuck, love that game, i have 5,500 hours in game
A part of me hoped this list included "Block n Load" but that game just isn't in anyone's radar (unfortunately)
It was a fun game with some controversy behind it ( it wasn't Ace of Spades)
tf2 is sad. i LOVE the game but valve doesnt
it should be unkillable tho, will easily last anotherr 7-10 years
as long as community servers exist and ppl buy crates ppl will play and valve wont shut it down
I still play shatterline and I find it extremely fun. I wish more people played this
same ❤
same@@snaggyak
it's still in early access he's a little harsh on them
You’re right. I haven’t enjoyed apex in a while, but I try to enjoy it and it’s just not hitting the spot anymore. I’ll give Farlight a shot.

"wait it's all smii7y?"
"always has been"
TF2 Isn’t unkillable cuz it already transcended beyond that tier.
I dont usually pull this card, but my guy's entire Apex rant just screamed someone who sucks at the game
The game’s boring as hell tbh and they need to do something new to bring new and old players back like more games modes
My poor friend tried to get me into it for some time, and the one time it works I end up getting kicked and turned off immediately.
blud did not get the full experience
@@cyclonicrazor7918 I'm good, I got soup. TF2 never got me soup.
@@misterkillhappy your pfp explains my reaction
You can't get kicked by the enemy team tho
@@Squiziano Ima just give ya a shrug to that. I literally don't know much about what can and can't happen in that game. I was still in that state of starting a game and finding things a little daunting with a tinge of confusion.
"Valorant skins are expensive"
Also csgo players: Bro, this ak that looks like a battle pass skin un VAL costs 3k, totally worth it
You can literally have a skin for every single weapon with 20 dollars if not more or less. Traders are the ones holding those expensive items and most of the time they sell it instead of using them
dude im telling you from a valorant player since a year+ it IS going to die out eventually, the community, riot not making the right updates and the gameplay that becomes hard and not fun really fast the game won't live out long.
Valorant has everything but it's just not fun IMO
Who let bro cook? 💀
Valve just nuked the majority of bots
OW players are masters at self gaslighting. All they ever do is complain about the game yet they play it religiously as if it's the only game in existence and sometimes claim it's the best shooter ever
9:25 the studio was also based in Kyiv so they had trouble making this game bc a short man who hasn’t seen sunlight in 15 years went into to the country.
How is TF2 not unkillable but 06 Boba Keshi Valorant Is.
the thing with overwatch is that the game is unique, it doesnt have any real competition and theres no other game that feels exactly like it, like if i was a csgo player and i got tired of it i could go to valorant and viceversa but with overwatch you just have no other option, thats probably the reason it has lasted so long
Apex use to be fun but now i rather just play BG3 i like to relax and have fun not feel frustrated
Before Overwatch 1, Firefall had to fail and it did by changing it's TF2 inspired classes way too many times.
I used to dislike overwatch, so a while ago i played valorant... I got so tired of it, so i tried overwatch again. rest was history
2:46 The skins being way too expensive is fine by me if it means that they aren't pay to win.
this deserves more views
As a former Rogue Company comp player, I consider RoCo dead. The studio who originaly created the game was shutdown in this year and now Evil Mojo, Paladins devs, are now maintaning this game while also doing the same for Paladins and Realm Royale. That means that the game will barely get any new content. It currently has a very small playerbase and it's slowly dropping.
T3 Arena being missed feels about right
Valorant isnt exactly a hero shooter, it is more like a tactical shooter like CS and Rainbow Six
I've played overwatch for 2 years now and I love it. I normally get a 4 stack with my brother and friends which help keep the game fun.
My question to the idiotic devs, why do they keep launching new games instead of making existing games better? We don't need hundreds of shooting games.
Dirty bomb is a lot fun Back in the days
As an Overwatch fan, I hate it!, but il never stop playing it!
im an overwatch 2 player and my only experience with overwatch 1 was the beta. overwatch 2 has already gotten significantly better in just a year and im expecting it to keep getting better. a lot of us are excited and waiting for season 9 because its supposed to be a big season that fixes a lot of current issues or at least takes a bigger step in that direction.
The competetive scene is also a mess, each kill is hardly noticable when you have rocket launchers that can kill 5 people at once, its way too complicated and its in a shit spot right now,
Esport game of the year… esport is so important for these games, like league, cs and why they last for a decade now.
0iq if you think tf2 hasnt reached unkillable status.
R6 is definitely not unkillable tier, its heart rate is slowing down for sure
I quit the game and uninstalled it months ago and started playing Paladins, also call of duty and started playing Ironsight and other similar free to play.
Splatoon is doing fine (Yeah yeah, get your laughs out. But it actually has an active competitive community and is really fun.) Definitely on its last year or two, but that just means that Sploon 4 will be out by 2028. Really underrated game.
tf2 should be placed in unkillable !
the bot issue and all the players that play the game everyday on a 15+ years old game is impressive, this is a true unkillable game !
i think overwach can be really big in next few years cuz finally blizard is doing something
6:31 we smoking on that bot pack as of July 2024
Gundam Evolution is dead because 1 : released like a week before OW2 so it had some success at first but only because people were waiting for OW.
And fucking monetization, how tf could they think that it would work to have basically p2w, timegating and all, is mind boggling
You missed Ghost Recon Wildlands and Ghost Recon Breakpoint. Both on dead list lol
Dirty Bomb was a great game. Its gunplay was the perfect blend of CoD and Counter-Strike plus the medics of Battlefield.
You really think a game like overwatch can ever die , there is nothing like it in the world everyone that tries it just fails.
Hot take, OW2 is more fun than OW1. But I'm not a ig hero shooter fan. Apex, I wish it were good again, Team Fortress 2 will NEVER die
