Very well said as someone who was top 500 in OW you have the mindset of a great player. Gold damage and big numbers dont matter if you’re not making plays or gaining value from it. Think he holds onto his ult to look for huge 4 piece or team kill highlight plays instead of using them as utility to separate enemies and create plays. @@Iwantbrains247 Bro what are you talking about Kovaaks is a great way to train, you just have to appreciate it for what it is. Kovaaks builds confidence and good habits, whilst playing the actual game will improve game sense and how to apply what you've learned on Kovaaks.
This guy is not a good player. I'd pay real money to see that 33-0 game cause i bet he just sat at the back getting those hits in for the kill credit, never dying once
He is spamming too much and not taking advantage of high ground. In the beginning, he did try to hold the high ground, but after a certain amount of time and pressure, he forgot about anything but spamming main. There were so many opportunities where my Hanzo instincts kicked in and screamed, "Climb to that high ground next to you," "'Go for a flank and get one or two picks in their backline," and "Take your time for some shots instead of revealing your new position." From what little he has shown on Soldier, he definitely needs to work on his tracking aim, and while at it, he should at least try to aim for the head. It seems to me like an "aim for the target, if I hit the head, it's a bonus" playstyle
To be fair, I think he don't really need those to prove himself gold. Like everyone in gold just sit there and spam don't they? The one that spams the most numbers out definitly deserves to be in gold.
@angnimay9466 you might be right most golds and below do that. But u shouldn’t be learning to play like them, u should practice how higher ranks play. If u aim for gold, that’s all you’ll ever reach, so strive for higher imo.
@@4LBallin I mean look, he did something sure, but does that mean he's outputting the optimal value and the loss is everyone elses fault rather than his? Not even close.

I feel like he learned some really useful stuff from that Live coaching. THe coach kept saying "Really great shot there" even if it was mid, but that is the job of the coach. To instil confidence. You can see later in that match how the Honzo is taking the advice onboard. It's great coaching, love that guy
i think yall are really giving gold players too much credit. he for sure doesnt deserve bronze if just for his aim alone, and hes not like completely braindead, which is 99% of bronze. he was holding his own in gold, and i dont think he could maintain gold, but for sure at least silver
nah this dude really is supposed to be in bronze he doesn’t use his ult when literally he can zone every single one of the enemies or even get some kills like fr ur ult is mostly used for zoning
FR anytime i see an elo hell video of ppl thinking they're Gold, I see comments of like oh positioning, cd usage, target priority, rotations etc & Im like......😐 are we talking about the same rank??? It doesn't take much to get/be Gold😂 its the rank of casual average gamers lmao
he provides very little pressure, he doesn't take angles, he only plays backline, no wonder he went unkilled that one game, because he plays behind everyone and can run with soldier to safety after everyones dead, he could very easily take the high ground before the first point on offense, or when he rotated take a high ground around there, but he literally only went high ground for a few shots one time, he needs to be commanding attention AWAY from his supports and tank, not just spamming arrows from behind everyone that rarely ever actually kills
The prime example of why stats dont matter, yes he has the most dmg but the damage he is doing is worthless, for example shooting a dva for 500hp and her not dying is worse than doing 50 dmg to someone to kill them. The guy just really isn't doing anything. To get out of bronze you need to play like u dont have a team and just kill stuff its that simple.
fr, i was predicted bronze 1 in my first dps game... i got placed into a team of npcs, picked widow, forgot about them all, got picks and i stopped being predicted bronze
I think he needs to try out a code for hanzo if he's going to be playing him as well as his hitscan characters because there is a delay and an arc he needs to be mindful of. I saw most of his pre-fire and regular shots were only aiming for the body and never the head whenever an enemy and himself was on even ground - he hit some decent headshots when he was the only one on high ground. Keep practicing and good luck!
Not a dps main but it felt like he didn’t off angle enough and needed better target selection It felt like he spammed the tank way too much instead of trying to pick out more impactful targets
fr, as widow and cass i sometimes go on the unconventional flank, i'll never forget that one time it actually worked out in my favor without me exploding immediately
Ive hit GM on console for years. This guys aim isnt his weakpoint surprisingly. His positioning, understanding the fight and where his enemies focus is. And general game sense is very bronze. He doesnt take advantage of anything and consistently tunnel visions on his surroundings. Let alone not paying attention to his teammates near kills or positons themselves. Hes very much bronze if not silver. His aims still atrocious, but the other things I mentioned are absolutely braindead almost. Like he just downloaded the game.
agreed fr, he had so many chances to use his ult to get a kill or two or even get them to separate and have his team pick off the ones that were separated. Also him spamming his arrows definitely didn't help the team. A lot of luck with those headshots, but him not being too aggro and positioning himself behind his team is good but other than that he has a lot of room for improvement.
I don't agree with anyone that says he doesn't deserve to be in bronze...this was literally the most deserved rank for this series, guy is straight up awful lol.
Perhaps (and that’s a big perhaps) this spam damage style hanzo would have worked in ow1 where the pace is not as fast. But in ow2? No way! The pace of the game has inevitably sped up bc of 5v5, your gamesense has to be a lot better and refined to climb. You gotta make split second decisions much more often. Ultimates are also less flashy in usage. The days of ‘team wipe grav dragon’ is really over. If you can get one or two picks using your ultimate, that’s a game changer. I use controller to play on pc (so no aim assist) and play mercy/LW/Ana/moira (less ana recently as no aim assist + increased forced duels in ow2 makes it hard, but I did get to 3200 on an Ana only acc on console in ow1) so basically my aim is actual dogshit but I still got gold on dps just via gamesense. Is it easier to have good aim to climb? Yea but you definitely won’t get far without gamesense, as proven by the cheater vods.
The thing I see the most from this guy is that there's no consequences for the enemy team any time he does anything well. If he gets a kill or does a lot of damage he sits back and waits for someone else to capitalize. If they don't or no one is around, he basically just gives ult charge to the enemy supports for the free healing cause they're at no risk. He doesn't contribute nearly as much as he thinks he does.
Bro holding on to his ults for dear life. He coulda used 3x as many had he used them for area denial or to secure a single kill instead of waiting to get a 5K (and obviously failing).
no one in bronze 5 is in elo hell lmao people can't turn their mouse and look around at that rank you can literally carry 1v5. And I'm not even a good player
this is why us Hanzo players get disrespected this guy is literally the reason why people say Hanzo s just spam random arrows until they get a pick. 😂😂 he is shooting nothing half the game 😭😭
HE IS GIVING ME PEAK STRESS LEVELS BRO IS SAVING HIS ULT FOR NEXT YEARS CHRISTMAS! 😰💀 i had to stop the vid multiple times. Edit: Is a 5v5 game broski 1 or 2 kills is more than enough to set them back. the sooner he learns that the sooner he will get out of bronze.
I am stuck in the same dilemma, I don’t know where I get these players from, they start and quit the game in the first minute if things doesn’t go well for them, they don’t even try or they just hide somewhere in the corner and I am usually all by myself fighting alone. I don’t quit any games until or unless if it’s a server or network issue, if I am the only one left in the game because these players give up so fast I still try my best and it hurts my record every time because of these players who just don’t care and it’s frustrating. I should’ve been in the Gold long time ago but it sucks to be stuck with the bad players.
frr, for me im always afraid of over-ulting since no one communicates in gold so everyone does stuff randomly. so sometimes i may save my ult just bc we already used 3 in one fight lmfao
8:00 in and apparently, he doesn't know about hanzo's wall-climb ability =D he also forgot to use highground... if you gonna spam corners at least get height out of it as well to throw their aim off!
I used to play bronze 2-1 hanzo as well, only thing i did differently was pop off ults more often. I could see him climbing to high silver with a decent heal pocket and some better pick-seeking
Definitely has room to grow. I honestly hope to see your "I belong in diamond" lobby soon, Choc. You definitely have potential to grow. As a diamond tank/dps, your hanzo is honestly better than mine mechanically lmao
I like to use it to shoot behind the enemy in choke points, either they push up into us, or they fall back right into my dragon. People always assume dragon gets shot exactly where they are standing when they hear it, so they move backwards pre-emptively.
26:30 eh I think dragons are mostly good for taking away area. I use it to separate foes too, although I usually just send them down the objective to clean it off to contest it
If someone is coaching you, a good coach does need to be realistic but also tactful. You need to not only speak the truth an deliver sound advice in a way that’s digestible for the person but also deliver it in a way it’ll be best received. Sayin you’re dog shit probably isn’t the best phrasin for most people. This is debatable cuz some folks will say “I’m givin the info if he gets butthurt an doesn’t listen that’s on them” an that isn’t wrong but imo a good coach wants to do all they can to make sure the information is received the best way possible. It’s not the same as coddling or sugar coating. Sorry I wrote so much tho. This is just my take as an educator.
So many instances I’m yelling at my screen to ult. Could have turned quite a few rounds around with it. Sometimes, to get out of a rank, is how you handle your ults. Had some pretty nice shots, but his aiming felt like it was in Bronze. I’m curious how he’d play with no stress like playing in Jay’s stream? I’d be down to watch thay
I remember playing OW and started off as a Silver. After a long time of playing and honing my skills finally got all my roles into Masters. Luckily I never had to deal with Elo hell as I always played with friends. Good times. Now I hate ranked cause it’s sweaty sweaty and nobody talks in solo queue
He wasn't really making any plays. He does consistent damage but he holds onto ults way too long and isn't helping his team find angles or make space. He wants to sit back with his healers 100% of the time and hope that he gets a lucky pick. Anybody can rack up big numbers that way but his elims will always be low if he isn't making plays.
i am a hanzo main and i am diamond what i noticed that his positioning was wrong if he plays flanks like tracer he will rank up really fast he also used his ult really less
when he switched to soldier it pretty much answered everything guy cant aim - bronze 5 is being generous .. dude should be frankincense or myrrh 5 -- not even a metal lol
Its not about spamming damage and not dying, its about making plays and using coordination, making or seizing opportunity when the enemy makes a mistake.
I climbed from bronze to platinum. Tbh the skills and tracking isnt THAT much of difference in higher bronze silver and gold. But the main difference is knowing when to back off after the team losing in one fight. In bronze people just go in and die one by one and will keep pushing that way.
He went 18-6 first game but probably only got like 5 elims. He holds his ult hostage and I feel like he couldve atleast switched characters to bring more value, he really wasnt doing much on Hanzo. But this was 8 months ago and I hope he improved and did eventually reach gold or higher
Staying safe and spamming main is how you get decent damage and low deaths, while not adding much to the fight.

There were so many opportunities where my Hanzo instincts kicked in and screamed, "Climb to that high ground next to you," "'Go for a flank and get one or two picks in their backline," and "Take your time for some shots instead of revealing your new position."
From what little he has shown on Soldier, he definitely needs to work on his tracking aim, and while at it, he should at least try to aim for the head. It seems to me like an "aim for the target, if I hit the head, it's a bonus" playstyle
To be fair, I think he don't really need those to prove himself gold. Like everyone in gold just sit there and spam don't they? The one that spams the most numbers out definitly deserves to be in gold.
yeah I got really annoyed with the spamming cause he ruined so many opportunities
@angnimay9466 you might be right most golds and below do that. But u shouldn’t be learning to play like them, u should practice how higher ranks play. If u aim for gold, that’s all you’ll ever reach, so strive for higher imo.
Tbh, high ground is fine, but I personally think its easier to hit headshots when you are on the same level as someone else.
I was thinking the same thing. There were so many moments where he could have held the high ground or taken a different angle. So frustrating!
That 33-0 game was probably a one off for bro and i bet he hasnt stopped talkint about it to his friends since
100% i guarantuee, he sat in the back line of his own team and bodyshot everyone. Even 1 damage counts as an elim if someone else kills them.
@@cagxplays9602i mean i could credit him a bit for the 20 final blows
@@4LBallin I mean look, he did something sure, but does that mean he's outputting the optimal value and the loss is everyone elses fault rather than his? Not even close.
fr i dont even remember my good games other than 71 assists on mercy (god knows how) or like idk 27 final blows on widow, this comment was the only thing that reminded me of those games LMFAO
I feel like he learned some really useful stuff from that Live coaching. THe coach kept saying "Really great shot there" even if it was mid, but that is the job of the coach. To instil confidence. You can see later in that match how the Honzo is taking the advice onboard. It's great coaching, love that guy
Jays face after koby said he did good on soldier last time had me in tears I was laughing so hard.
i think yall are really giving gold players too much credit. he for sure doesnt deserve bronze if just for his aim alone, and hes not like completely braindead, which is 99% of bronze. he was holding his own in gold, and i dont think he could maintain gold, but for sure at least silver
Nah his aim is terrible. All he dies is sit main and spam
The real issues is that he makes 0 plays, no clutch ult, no meaningful healer picks, 0 pressure. He just exists and spams bodyshots.
nah this dude really is supposed to be in bronze he doesn’t use his ult when literally he can zone every single one of the enemies or even get some kills
like fr ur ult is mostly used for zoning
That first nano makes me think we gotta do elo he’ll for the Ana😭
Hell
are you saying they deserve a lower rank lol
@@cytro ion know how the Ana gold
@@seandagamer2805 idk, they were probably trolling, I would never nano a hanzo lol
I think she was like "aww let's let the bronze kid be star of the show" lol
The prime example of why stats dont matter, yes he has the most dmg but the damage he is doing is worthless, for example shooting a dva for 500hp and her not dying is worse than doing 50 dmg to someone to kill them. The guy just really isn't doing anything. To get out of bronze you need to play like u dont have a team and just kill stuff its that simple.
exactly... ppl thinks dmg is more important then kills. i've had ppl flame me for getting the most kills but the least dmg.
He also just randomly shoots in a general direction and is never lined up at head height, hence why he gets so many body shots.
fr, i was predicted bronze 1 in my first dps game... i got placed into a team of npcs, picked widow, forgot about them all, got picks and i stopped being predicted bronze
That was bothering me to, most his damage comes from spamming body shots on tank
Not a dps main but it felt like he didn’t off angle enough and needed better target selection
It felt like he spammed the tank way too much instead of trying to pick out more impactful targets
fr, as widow and cass i sometimes go on the unconventional flank, i'll never forget that one time it actually worked out in my favor without me exploding immediately
Like he just downloaded the game.
underrated take
agreed fr, he had so many chances to use his ult to get a kill or two or even get them to separate and have his team pick off the ones that were separated.
Wdym he wasn’t aiming at all he’s spamming down site lines which only works with a few characters in the game and isn’t consistent
The nano looking like that ana is living in elo heaven
This series is a fun study on how people overestimate their ability.
Seeing all these great dragons that he passes up is making my blood violent
As someone he sits around Diamond and Platinum, Someone complaining that they deserve to be in gold but are stuck in bronze is just so comical to me
I’m diamond tank and hardstuck gold everything else 😭
im not really hardstuck but i dont grind comp so i usually sit in the same rank, and yeah it's funny. wish me luck on hitting plat
Bronze Hanzo looks exactly as I thought it would
Man I love how brutally honest jay is😂😂😂
Bro holding on to his ults for dear life.
Problem is he doesnt take off angles, justs spams behind the team hoping to get a pick and misses most of his shots while time is running out
Jay: "U look bronzy, *I can't fix that* "
this is why us Hanzo players get disrespected this guy is literally the reason why people say Hanzo s just spam random arrows until they get a pick. 😂😂 he is shooting nothing half the game 😭😭
Prime example of thinking you're doing something but doing nothing.
As a hanzo player I like the free coaching 😂
The rein dashed after him to ult him lmao
HE IS GIVING ME PEAK STRESS LEVELS BRO IS SAVING HIS ULT FOR NEXT YEARS CHRISTMAS! 😰💀 i had to stop the vid multiple times. Edit: Is a 5v5 game broski 1 or 2 kills is more than enough to set them back.
the sooner he learns that the sooner he will get out of bronze.
He not doing anything at all, he staying with the safety of the team and not putting his self in position to make plays
I should’ve been in the Gold long time ago but it sucks to be stuck with the bad players.
bronze-plat players be holding their ult until next christmas and wonder why team fights aren’t won
frr, for me im always afraid of over-ulting since no one communicates in gold so everyone does stuff randomly. so sometimes i may save my ult just bc we already used 3 in one fight lmfao
this guy plays hanzo like I do, shot my arrows and pray someone walks into them.
Loooo
Lool
AS SOON as he said “i dominate in higher games” that’s how i knew it was gonna be something… 😭😭😭
He just pumps damage into the tank
8:00 in and apparently, he doesn't know about hanzo's wall-climb ability =D
he also forgot to use highground...
if you gonna spam corners at least get height out of it as well to throw their aim off!
Never forget the events that took place on this day
Remember yall. YOU are the only independent variable in ALL your games and 1 game of really bad teammates dont define your whole career.
I used to play bronze 2-1 hanzo as well, only thing i did differently was pop off ults more often. I could see him climbing to high silver with a decent heal pocket and some better pick-seeking
We love the 0 coordination nano honzo 😂
25:20, bap made a appearance for 1/2 a second just before the coach calls him out
Definitely has room to grow.
People always assume dragon gets shot exactly where they are standing when they hear it, so they move backwards pre-emptively.
him not ulting at 4:00 actually pissed me off
Aim: Gold
Positioning: Silver
Game sense: Bronze
Ult usage: Wood
Brudda saving his ult for OW3
26:30 eh I think dragons are mostly good for taking away area. I use it to separate foes too, although I usually just send them down the objective to clean it off to contest it
That was one of the games of all time for sure
i haven’t seen the video yet but if they aren’t dying 24/7 then they deserve gm bc i can never find a hanzo that is never dying constantly
As a Hanzo main over 50+ hours on him THIS IS NOT HOW YOU PLAY HANZO
From when bronze is elo hell. My friends and I even struggle to get to this rank. Even by loosing every game it's a pain to get to bronze.
This entire video im just yelling at my screen like flank, take high ground, ULT YOU RETAARRRD
Definitely not Bronze 5 , probably Bronze 1, still Bronze
“I deserve gold”
“I dunno how to wall climb”
In the time he hold his ultimate he could got another one already if he used it to kill one or 2 at least .
You hate ranked because it's sweaty? That's the entire point in the mode?
congrats, how long did it take you? i also started in silver, got to gold, tryna reach plat
@@TamWam_ I started season 2 of og overwatch. Every 2-3 seasons I’d rank up to the rank.
I am now in masters since about a year ago
Don’t understand why people wait so long to use ult.
Could have got a second ult charge with time he waits
That is crazy!!!!... the damage role doing the most damage
He wasn't really making any plays. He does consistent damage but he holds onto ults way too long and isn't helping his team find angles or make space. He wants to sit back with his healers 100% of the time and hope that he gets a lucky pick. Anybody can rack up big numbers that way but his elims will always be low if he isn't making plays.
where's the sombra hard focusing him on the back lines? is it just when I play hanzo?
Zero ult awareness
That ult usage put him on a smaller scale of play than Jay’s height
as a hanzo main a HATE that sonic bug, it throws me off and generally pisses me off.
i am a hanzo main and i am diamond what i noticed that his positioning was wrong if he plays flanks like tracer he will rank up really fast he also used his ult really less
In the first half from what I’ve seen so far he doesn’t use his ult enough and he doesn’t know when to
Bro was saving his ult for the next time
Its funny how the guy spams cooldowns as soon as he can but too scared to click "Q"
with his aim, it's actually good to see him surprised to kill someone :D
Bronze player claiming he should be in Gold. Blames his team... looks at gameplay, I can see why he's stuck in Bronze 😂
He had so many good opportunities to get a good ult, and then just ults in the backline and gets no kills
when he switched to soldier it pretty much answered everything
guy cant aim - bronze 5 is being generous .. dude should be frankincense or myrrh 5 -- not even a metal lol
eh, he does better with someone dictating his actions for him lol
bro he hold the dragons for OW3
he must have the buffest hanzo in the world with how long he holds that drawstring. hes a sitting duck with that movement penalty
Jay dnt feel sorry, this boy is being put in his place
This guy is like Flygon A Ground Dragon type. Why he keep aiming at the floor with ult!!!
Its not about spamming damage and not dying, its about making plays and using coordination, making or seizing opportunity when the enemy makes a mistake.
Bro got timed out for telling Jay how to NOT get scoliosis
It should be jay4head
25:10 jay3 that's bap right there out in the open on his screen he could see that bap
I climbed from bronze to platinum. Tbh the skills and tracking isnt THAT much of difference in higher bronze silver and gold. But the main difference is knowing when to back off after the team losing in one fight. In bronze people just go in and die one by one and will keep pushing that way.
hes stuck in bronze for a reason :3
He went 18-6 first game but probably only got like 5 elims. He holds his ult hostage and I feel like he couldve atleast switched characters to bring more value, he really wasnt doing much on Hanzo. But this was 8 months ago and I hope he improved and did eventually reach gold or higher
bro ults at the worst possible time
Did we see him hit a deserved headshot or was everyone of them a classic spamzo momento
Saying teams are always bad and he's so good is the quintessential definition of a bad player.
There are minutes of gameplay occasionally where he doesn't deal a single point of damage as a dps.
As a Kiriko main, the stats from the Kiriko during the 1st made me anxious.
Hanzo is peak bronze 2 at best tho.
Idk looks bronze to me haha
i mean i get why he's bronze mans hit 5% of his shots by luck
